Noah helped us with check-in and arranged breakfast for my child. The hotel's facility maintenance, overall environment, and room conditions are all excellent, with great attention to cleanliness. As an established high-end hotel in Fuzhou, its quality remains outstanding. We will definitely choose to stay here again if we have the chance."

"I initially chose another hotel, but wasn't satisfied. Then I came to Lan Ou Hotel, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. The room has a big bed and a comfortable sofa to lounge on. It's located next to a residential area, so it's super quiet at night for sleeping. They even offer Fujian local snacks for breakfast! The hotel front desk service is also very attentive; they were still actively answering questions even near midnight. I'd recommend this place to anyone flying in or just arriving in Fuzhou. Plus, it's close to a street full of delicious food. Definitely avoid hotels near the highway; they're noisy at night. In short, if you're in Fuzhou, choose Lan Ou!"

After staying at Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel, my previous disappointment with the Shangri-La vanished. As a well-established state guesthouse boasting West Lake views, its facilities, amenities, and service fully live up to five-star standards. The overall experience was significantly more comfortable. I. Hotel Environment and Location: Rich Lakeside Heritage The hotel is situated right by West Lake. The grand entrance features a pair of white elephant sculptures, stately and imposing. The entire glass-curtained building directly faces the West Lake. Upon entering, the lobby displays a calligraphy plaque reading 'First Building of Lake and Mountain Scenery,' creating a strong Chinese traditional atmosphere. The location is its biggest advantage. Stepping out, you're immediately on the West Lake walking path, perfect for an evening stroll or a morning jog. It's only a ten-minute drive from Sanfang Qixiang, making sightseeing very convenient. It's a peaceful oasis in a bustling area, without the noise typically found in city hotels. II. Guest Room: New Chinese Luxury, Spacious with Top-Notch Amenities The guest rooms feature a modernized New Chinese style, with dark wood finishes paired with ink-wash orchid paintings, creating a calm and elegant color scheme. The room is very spacious, avoiding any cramped feeling. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the city's buildings, and you can even catch the sunset in the evening. The bedding is soft and thick, complemented by two sets of pillows, ensuring a great night's sleep. A curved leisure sofa is tucked in the corner, and the desk is large, perfectly adequate for business travelers. The minibar thoughtfully includes seasonal fruits. The independent bathroom is fully tiled with marble and features both a bathtub and a separate shower, ensuring clear wet and dry zones. "The front desk lady provided excellent service. Since we checked in late, she kindly offered us two days of complimentary breakfast. Upon checkout, she even gave us a small gift. The only minor issues were a noisy air conditioner and a leaky sink. However, the location is absolutely fantastic; it's right by the subway, which is incredibly convenient. Plus, it's just a short walk to Sanfang Qixiang, and the view outside the hotel is truly beautiful."

I chose it over the Lavande next door because I'd heard of Jinjiang but hadn't tried it yet. **Facilities**: It's a standalone building in a cluster of hotels, very new and well-maintained. Everything feels fresh and great. **Hygiene**: Spotless, as expected from a Jinjiang Group hotel. They really prioritize top-notch cleanliness. **Ambiance**: Being a Jinjiang Group property, it boasts a unique marble-integrated hotel style. Inside, there's a 'watercolor ink' world map mural which I found quite appealing. The restrooms are fully smart, with electronic bidet toilets, so no more startlingly cold seats at night! **Service**: Excellent! I ordered breakfast, and while it's not as lavish as a JW, it was still very good and had everything you'd need. A pleasant surprise was being given a soft rubber pillow without even having to ask the front desk. It was a thoughtful touch, and the pillow was genuinely comfortable, really helping my neck. Thumbs up! **P.S.** This is one of the rare hotels without any downsides. Both the indoor and outdoor environments are very pleasant. Whether it's the ambiance or the location, everything was convenient and smooth, perfectly fitting the occasion. A great place! Plus, they offer airport drop-off service for early flights! If I had to pick a flaw, it would be that the automatic doors in the lobby are a bit too sensitive and open frequently. Coupled with being in a coastal area, it can make the ground floor lobby feel a bit stuffy. I'll definitely be back!"

"I browsed through many hotels on Ctrip and ultimately chose this one for my trip to Fuzhou. First off, the front desk staff in the lobby were very friendly and welcoming. However, I wasn't pleased with the housekeeping staff. They wouldn't acknowledge you when passing by, and throughout our three-day stay, not a single one of them greeted us. The soft services definitely need improvement there. Secondly, since my child brushes their teeth morning and night, we needed four sets of children's toiletries daily. On the first day, I found only one set. After asking the front desk that evening, they sent more, which was great. But then, when housekeeping restocked supplies the next day, shouldn't they have replaced them? Yet again, there was only one set, forcing me to contact the front desk every single day about this. I feel there's a lack of attention to detail here. Also, on the second night of our stay, we returned to the hotel quite late. After my partner showered, it was my child's turn, and we discovered the bathroom floor was flooded. I checked and found that the shower seal was broken! My child nearly slipped. We quickly took emergency measures. Since it was close to 11 PM, we didn't contact the front desk then. My partner called them the next morning to report it, and we saw it had been fixed when we returned that evening. But it makes me wonder, don't housekeepers check the facilities when cleaning? Especially since the broken seal was quite noticeable and visible when crouching down to clean. So, I'm quite dissatisfied with the service and cleanliness in this regard."

They were attentive, thoughtful, and patiently answered all my questions about travel and breakfast. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, making me feel very comfortable. The location is superb, within walking distance of Hangcheng Metro Station and a commercial area. Changle High-Speed Rail is just 2 km away. Upon entering the lobby, I was offered welcome tea. The front desk was efficient with check-in and even proactively arranged a high-floor lake view room for me. Room: Spacious (standard room 40㎡+), with floor-to-ceiling windows offering great city/lake views. The branded mattress was just right, offering excellent support, and the bedding from a well-known brand was very comfortable. Soundproofing was excellent. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toilet room was independent and odor-free. The toiletries had a pleasant fragrance. Breakfast: The buffet offered both Chinese and Western options. There was a Fuzhou specialty station for 'lao mian'/'lao fen', freshly cooked eggs, and a rich selection of fresh fruits and desserts. Replenishments were prompt. Service: Staff members proactively smiled and greeted guests, and their response time was quick. Overall, it's standard five-star quality. I would definitely choose this hotel again for both business trips and vacations!"

"I absolutely loved my stay at Anmin Hotel. Nestled within the cultural heart of Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, the location was perfect for immersing myself in Fuzhou’s heritage and charm. The front desk team was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond, even assisting me with my Taobao purchases and making everything so much easier as a solo traveler. To my surprise, they also offered 2x complimentary breakfast for all three nights of my stay, which was a lovely gesture. I checked in on a weekday and managed to get a very good rate, making the experience even better value for money. Between the beautiful heritage setting, warm hospitality, and thoughtful service, Anmin Hotel was truly one of the highlights of my trip. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Fuzhou."

Usually, I don't bother writing reviews after a hotel stay unless I'm either extremely satisfied or, as in this case, had a truly terrible experience. First off, it's clear this is an older hotel, and understandably, the facilities aren't as modern as newer establishments. That's fine; what isn't acceptable is the lack of attention to service. Upon arrival, there was no bellboy or greeter to assist. At the front desk, the staff didn't even offer a greeting; they just looked unwelcoming, almost as if they were annoyed by guests. When we asked the concierge to help with our luggage, he seemed preoccupied and didn't respond at all. We were so frustrated that we just left our bags in the lobby and went straight to our rooms. I had booked two rooms and called a week in advance to request they be close together. I was assured they would be on the same floor and as close as possible. However, upon reaching the rooms, I found one was right next to the elevator, which I worried would be noisy and disturb our sleep. To make matters worse, the bathroom fan made an incredibly loud noise when turned on. I contacted the front desk to switch rooms, and they moved us to one even further away, claiming there were no closer options available. Throughout our stay, whether in public areas or the lobby, not a single hotel staff member ever greeted us or said hello. I'm not exaggerating – there was a complete absence of basic courtesy. I frequently saw staff chatting happily in the lobby, completely ignoring guests. Paying over 2000 yuan for such a lack of basic service and politeness means the value for money is incredibly low. The breakfast staff, on the other hand, had a noticeably better attitude and even asked about our dining experience. I genuinely hope this older hotel invests more in improving its service. Otherwise, in such a competitive market, they risk losing a significant number of potential customers."
