Shangri-La Fuzhou

Beyond expectations! We stayed in a deluxe triple suite on the 22nd floor. It was on the same level as the complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast, which was very convenient for metro access. The view was expansive, and while the afternoon tea selection wasn't huge, the taste was excellent. The location is great, and the staff were very attentive. A special shout-out to the lady who set up our extra bed – she was incredibly kind and went back and forth many times to get blankets for us, a definite thumbs up! 👍👍 We visited during the off-peak week after the May Day holiday, so the price was also very reasonable. If I had to nitpick, I'd say check-in at the front desk could be a bit faster, and the water pressure in the shower wasn't quite strong enough. This trip also gave me a new appreciation for Shangri-La; I'll definitely check their prices first next time.

The service was excellent, especially Cynthia's warmth which made us feel right at home. The hotel's location is superb, right at the intersection of Metro Line 1 and 2, and within walking distance to Sanfang Qixiang. Although it's just off the main road, it's surprisingly quiet. While the facilities show a bit of age, they are well-maintained, clean, and hygienic. The breakfast spread was extensive, offering a wide variety of Fuzhou local snacks. All in all, great value for money.

The breakfast was great, and the Horizon Club was pretty good too. Compared to other hotels in Fuzhou, Shangri-La is still my top choice. Facilities: Not as old as I imagined, perfectly fine. Environment: The location is excellent, with a view of Wuyi Square where you can see the flag-raising ceremony.

The Shangri-La Hotel exudes elegance and boasts a magnificent decor. The staff are warm and polite, and the rooms are quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped. The Fuzhou Shangri-La, where I stayed this time, enjoys an excellent location right next to a shopping and lifestyle plaza, making it convenient for dining, entertainment, shopping, and visiting major attractions. The hotel breakfast is rich and delicious, and the breakfast experience at the 22nd-floor Executive Lounge was particularly fantastic 🌹. Special thanks to Annie for arranging a room upgrade and complimentary fruit during check-in 👍, and to Cynthia for organizing amenities, and Cecili for a quick checkout and deposit return 👍. Shangri-La truly lives up to its reputation as a premier brand hotel and is my top choice for accommodation. I had a wonderful and unforgettable time here! 🌹

For business trips, a domestic five-star hotel might be okay, but for family vacations, I'd definitely recommend an international five-star. Age isn't the issue; the problem is when you're staying for more than just one night. It's the soft services that truly make a difference, and that's when the hotel staff's quality dictates your experience. The team at Shangri-La Fuzhou are incredibly friendly. From Cynthia, our butler, to the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties, they all perfectly embody what true service means. Service isn't about being inferior; it's about responsibility. Similarly, you're not checking in because you're superior; you're there because you need their assistance. There's no need to be arrogant. My sincere thanks to them.

Environment: The hotel is conveniently connected to a mall and has a great central location. Service: The service was truly excellent! Cynthia made sure our room was ready for us before check-in, just as we requested. In the evening, they thoughtfully delivered snacks and sweet soup, which was a lovely touch and very heartwarming! Facilities: The facilities are a little bit dated, but they are very clean and well-maintained. What I liked most was the breakfast buffet; it was very rich and satisfying. The Fuzhou fish balls and Rou Yan (meat swallows) were especially delicious.

An absolutely fantastic stay at Shangri-La Fuzhou, and a special shout-out to Cynthia! My recent stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou, was an incredible experience from start to finish. It truly lives up to its reputation as a benchmark five-star hotel in Fuzhou, with impeccable hardware and service. I particularly want to give a personal commendation to Ms. Cynthia, the lobby manager, whose warm service genuinely enhanced my entire stay! The hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of the city. What impressed me most, though, was the service. I felt completely at home and cared for throughout my stay, especially thanks to Cynthia from guest services, who was both professional and thoughtful. Before check-in, she proactively communicated with me to understand my needs and arranged the room perfectly. During check-in, she was enthusiastic, thorough, and patient, taking the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities and provide tips for exploring Fuzhou. Throughout my stay, she consistently checked in on my experience, promptly responded to all my requests, thoughtfully replenished amenities, and even brought special tea and snacks. She even remembered our preferences, offering personalized service. Her gentle and professional demeanor made us feel incredibly comfortable. Shangri-La Fuzhou truly demonstrates the quality of a five-star hotel, and Cynthia's heartwarming service added an extra layer of warmth to our trip. The entire experience was flawless. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Fuzhou, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the city!
