The butler created a group chat in advance and even reported the 'Blue Tears' (bioluminescent plankton) locations daily; their service was incredibly enthusiastic. We also received complimentary drinks and desserts in the afternoon. It would be even better if the breakfast selection had more variety. The large pool is fantastic for photos! When the hot water stopped working on the first day, it was promptly fixed. Overall, the service is very detailed and thoughtful, and the room cleanliness is up to par. There are quite a few rooms, and the design is very creative. Highly recommended!

Perched halfway up the mountain, it offers a peaceful retreat from the city's noise and traffic, yet allows easy walking access to all the main attractions. It perfectly blends tranquility with convenience. The ambiance is wonderfully serene and minimalist, making it a fantastic spot for photos. Downstairs, there's the 'Hidden Coffee' shop, where hotel guests get a 20% discount on coffee. The lush green courtyard is beautifully maintained, and spending time there just makes you naturally slow down and relax, feeling like you've checked into a healing, secluded mountain retreat. The room layout is very well-designed, with excellent natural light and ventilation, and good soundproofing, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The hygiene and details are top-notch; all disposable amenities are provided, and the shower has great water pressure, perfect for washing away the day's fatigue. Overall, my stay was comfortable and pleasant, with no disappointments. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. This stay gave us an exceptionally good experience, and we'd definitely come back again!

The room was absolutely stunning! The moment I opened the door, I knew the ocean view was worth every penny. You can definitely get some amazing photos right from your room. It's clear the owner has a great eye for design. The amenities in the room were also very comprehensive – even a Dyson hairdryer and facial tissues in the bathroom, which shows real attention to detail. We drove here, and parking was super convenient and free. The butler's service attitude was excellent too. And breakfast was quite tasty. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Pingtan!

The staff was extremely friendly and check-in was quick and efficient. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing us with a great night’s sleep. The hotel is conveniently located with many restaurants and shops nearby, making it easy to explore the area. We also really appreciated the thoughtful little details that made our stay even more special. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend ZhongYuan Hotel. 🌊 Great Service and Beach Location, But a Few Things to Know! We had a mixed but overall good experience here, mostly thanks to the wonderful staff. The Positives & The Room ✨ The service here is genuinely good! We originally booked a standard Twin room, but the hotel kindly upgraded us to a Family room. The upgraded room was absolutely awesome—very big, comfortable, and perfectly clean. Even though the hotel building itself feels a little bit old and dated, the spacious room really made up for it. Location & Beach 🏖️ The hotel is located right by the sea, which is beautiful. There are a few cafes right on the beach, though keep in mind their menus are quite limited. Also, unless you are visiting during the peak hot summer season, you won't be able to swim in the ocean because of the weather. The Downsides: Pool & Noise 🚧 Since we couldn't swim in the sea, we were hoping to use the pool, but unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed. I highly recommend contacting the hotel to check if the pool is operating before you book! The biggest issue during our stay, however, was the noise. There was active construction going on, and they were constantly fixing the roof next door. It was quite noisy and definitely disrupted the peaceful beach vibe. Bottom Line: A great beachfront location with excellent service and spacious rooms, but definitely double-check the pool and construction status before your trip! The cleanliness was exceptional; the sheets were spotless, and the bathroom had no odors and was perfectly clean everywhere. All basic amenities were available: the air conditioning cooled quickly, the Wi-Fi signal was strong, and there were convenient charging ports by the bed. The front desk staff were very welcoming and proactively offered tips on local dining and transportation. The check-out process was also very quick. For anyone on a short trip or a tight budget, this is definitely a no-brainer choice – it's already on my go-to accommodation list!
