"The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and warmly introduced us to the nearby attractions. The hotel felt very secure, and the high-floor views were good. The rooms were very clean. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, we thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the Western options which were quite tasty. Having to switch elevators in the middle was a bit inconvenient. It's really close to the Ancestral Temple; we got there quickly by taxi and it's also walkable to the attractions."

"The hotel is right next to 'The Romantic Show of Foshan' and within walking distance to Tingyin Lake. The hotel environment is quite good, with some recreational facilities. However, I really can't understand why a resort hotel would charge guests for using the rooftop swimming pool. The room was new and very clean, and I enjoyed a beautiful sunset from there. I only found out after eating out that evening that the hotel offers a buffet, but the front desk didn't mention it during check-in, which was a pity. The staff training definitely needs improvement."

"It rained over the weekend, and it was my family's first time staying at this Hilton. Here are my honest thoughts. 1. The underground parking is quite cramped and messy because it's shared with the hotel and an office building complex. Most parking spots are under mechanical parking lifts. You can park, but spots near the hotel entrance are limited. 2. The hotel lobby is grand, but there are many shops, which makes the overall impression feel a bit less upscale. 3. The front desk staff who checked us in were friendly and enthusiastic. 4. The room layout and space are decent, but the lighting design is very poor. It feels dim during the day, especially with the dark carpet and door panels. 5. There were many dirty spots, such as under the bed frame and chair legs. Because the room lacks a dehumidifier, there was a musty smell and damp bedding due to the rain. 6. For a five-star hotel, the complimentary bottled water is Dettol (sic - likely a typo and should be a common water brand). When I asked housekeeping for more bottles, I was told only four could be sent to the room, and any additional ones would need to be purchased. 7. The hotel doesn't have a reasonable or scientific solution for food deliveries. Delivery drivers complained that they aren't allowed inside and can only leave orders at an outdoor locker. If guests want a robot to deliver to their room, they have to call room service and explain it every single time. 8. The management of the play area is mediocre. I didn't see any dedicated staff supervising, and the facilities were poorly maintained. I'm concerned about potential safety hazards. The points above are my personal feelings from this stay. For the same price, there are many better options in Foshan, or even the entire Pearl River Delta. As a branded five-star hotel, it should provide matching hardware and services, instead of just having a prestigious name."

"Staying at the InterContinental by Qiandeng Lake with kids was such a breeze! The room was spotless, and the lake view was incredible—my child loved watching the boats go by from the window. Breakfast was fantastic; the cartoon-shaped buns and fresh juice were a big hit with the little one. Andy and Nicole at the lounge were incredibly thoughtful and provided excellent service, even preparing sweet soup for us before bed. They even followed up after we checked out, which was a really nice touch. Thumbs up! Given the service and the environment, the value for money is just off the charts. It's definitely the top choice for a family trip to Foshan, and my child is already asking to come back! Highly, highly, highly recommend!"

"For the past two or three years, I've been visiting Shunde Daliang almost every three months, and I always stay here. The hotel's location is convenient, and the decor has a charming, antique Lingnan style. They have a self-service laundry room and an outdoor rooftop pool. The hotel also boasts its own restaurant, serving excellent and consistently good dim sum and Chinese lunch. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the room attendants provide thoughtful and detailed service, which truly deserves praise! Highly recommended!"

"The hotel's overall service needs improvement and better training. It's very convenient for getting around, with the subway station right at the intersection. Downstairs, there's an old-school restaurant, and nearby, you'll find local shops with a rich variety of delicious food. On hot summer days, there's a free laundry room and an infinity pool, and the room views are beautiful."

"I've stayed at this hotel several times and have always enjoyed it, so I was surprised and disappointed when a staff member recently ruined my experience. Thankfully the manager intervened and promptly moved me to the room I had originally requested. The hotel is in an excellent location and, aside from that incident, remains a great choice for visitors."

"My stay at the InterContinental Foshan Dongping Poly was a truly delightful experience. I'd like to extend a special thank you to Rachel, who was incredibly attentive from the moment I checked in, and responsive throughout my entire stay. Whether it was helping with a room upgrade or assisting with unexpected requests, she made me feel completely at ease. At check-out, the duty manager, Barry, proactively inquired about my stay and efficiently helped with the check-out process. I highly recommend the hotel's dim sum breakfast; the shrimp dumplings have thin wrappers and fresh, flavorful filling, and the red rice rolls are soft on the outside with a crispy interior. Paired with a pot of Pu'er tea, it's the perfect breakfast. The professional service from both staff members, combined with the authentic Cantonese dim sum, made this trip to Foshan incredibly enjoyable. I was very happy to have met Rachel!"

"Facilities: Quite complete, with complimentary drinks in the mini-fridge. Hygiene: Very clean, comfortable, and no strange odors. Environment: Construction work outside the entrance, but it didn't significantly affect getting around. Underground parking is on B3, a bit convoluted to navigate. The surrounding area offers convenient dining and exercise options. Service: Check-in was quick, and the service was delivered with a smile."

"The hotel's facilities and front desk service were all quite good. However, on the morning of the second day, I had just woken up and gone to the restroom, completely undressed, when a cleaner pushed open the door, saying we were checking out. I was a bit speechless as we literally bumped into each other. She kept confirming with my naked self before saying she made a mistake. She apologized briefly and left, but I was still annoyed. We hadn't checked out yet, so how could she just swipe her card and walk in? Shouldn't the card not work if we haven't checked out? Later, after we did check out, a staff member called me in the afternoon asking for a good review. I was in a public place at the time and didn't want to bring up the issue, but I couldn't honestly give a five-star rating. On a positive note, there was something worth praising. Later, when we stopped briefly at the entrance with our shared electric scooter to pick up our stored luggage, one security guard very aggressively told us to move. But another security guard quickly came over and said it was fine for us to stop, and even helped us with our luggage. That was very thoughtful and definitely deserves praise."
