Romantic Hotels in Yangzhou

Came to Yangzhou for the Dragon Boat Festival with friends, and after comparing many hotels, we finally decided on Zhenyuan Hotel because of its two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a mahjong table. On the day of check-in, the front desk lady called ahead to confirm our itinerary. Since it was raining, she even brought an umbrella to escort us to our room and helped us check in there. They provided welcome fruits, drinks, and Yangzhou University yogurt, and thoughtfully replenished them the next day after we finished them. The hotel itself is converted from a salt merchant's private residence, so the courtyard and corridors offer beautiful scenery. At check-out, they even gave each of us a hotel fridge magnet. Highly recommend!

The hotel is located right by the canal, which has scenic belts and parks on both sides (I noticed the hotel was on the boat tour route when I took a cruise at night). If you're not in a rush, it's lovely to take a stroll along the riverside. From the hotel, cross a bridge and walk straight ahead to He Garden, then further on to Pishi Street. Beyond Pishi Street are the Dongguan Ferry Terminal and Dongguan Street. In short, it's incredibly convenient to reach all these attractions on foot. Though it's called a hotel, it feels more like a B&B. It's a charming three-story building, very clean and well-maintained. The owner has excellent taste and puts a lot of thought into everything. Both the owner and staff are exceptionally friendly, always greeting guests and proactively asking if anything is needed, without being overbearing. Complimentary tea, drinks, and fruit are provided, all of high quality and in ample supply. The service is truly impeccable. The room was meticulously cleaned, and all the bathroom amenities were quite high-end. They even thoughtfully provided a complimentary set of brand-name facial wash, skincare products, and body lotion. There was also a generous supply of toilet paper. It’s been a long time since I stayed in such a comfortable and reassuring place; it truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou. Fantastic location, just a ten-minute walk from Slender West Lake, and directly across from MixC shopping mall. There are many other malls nearby, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also easy to get to all the major attractions. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the service is superb – they're always ready to help. Great value for money; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou.

The hotel is conveniently located near Dongguan Street, right next to Ge Garden, making it easy to access transport and local amenities. The rooms are housed in a two-story wooden building, encircling a charming courtyard with a miniature rock garden. While the rooms themselves are clean, the bathroom is a bit on the small side. The service was incredibly thoughtful; staff even helped us with laundry. The owner was exceptionally hospitable and warm; he not only used an electric cart to assist with our luggage but also gave us a ride to a nearby place for a local morning tea. We noticed the diamond-patterned door didn't block out much light, but when we mentioned it to the owner, he immediately took care of it. He also generously shared recommendations for many authentic Yangzhou restaurants favored by locals, helping us avoid any tourist traps.

This trip to Yangzhou to choose Anna Luxury is really a surprise, must give full praise! The location of the hotel is excellent. It is the ancient canal. In the evening, walk along the river and blow the evening breeze. Looking at the lights and cruises of the canal, the atmosphere in the south of the Yangtze River is directly full. It is especially pleasant to be quiet in the middle of noisy. You can walk to Heyuan and Pishi Street, and it is very convenient to visit attractions for food. The room is light and luxurious as a whole, the facilities are perfect, the whole house is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the intelligent configuration is very intimate, and the living feeling is full. The staff is meticulous and warm, warm and patient, and can respond in time if there is a need, and the details are full of care. The overall stay experience far exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this one when I come to Yangzhou. I will choose here next time!

The lobby of the Yangzhou Slender West Lake Junting Hotel has an antique charm that perfectly matches the ancient city's style. The location is superb; the moat is right across the street, and Ge Garden is only about 1 kilometer away. Slender West Lake is less than 1 kilometer, making it incredibly convenient. Breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes with local specialties. For our family room, there were two large beds. Room facilities and view are excellent, with a nice view outside the window. The smart toilet even comes with a remote control. Parking is available in a dedicated parking lot. Service: The booking included breakfast for four people, but only three of us arrived. They actually refunded the cost of one breakfast, which was a very pleasant surprise – highly recommend! A big thank you to 'September Orange' at the front desk for their warm and thoughtful service.

The place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

The service is very good and enthusiastic. The room is a bit small. The ventilation of the bathroom is not very good. The window is too high and can't be closed. It's cold and windy. The layout of the room is a bit unreasonable. It's relatively clean and sanitary.

I chose this hotel purely for its excellent location! If you're visiting Yangzhou, I highly recommend staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Yangzhou. The location is fantastic – you can walk to Slender West Lake in about 15-20 minutes, and right across the street is MixC, which is super convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The room wasn't particularly large, and the facilities felt a bit dated and not very well-maintained. The water pressure was good, though, so showering was quite comfortable. The central air conditioning, however, was a major letdown. It was stiflingly hot, and they wouldn't turn on the AC, not even the fan! It was 19 degrees Celsius outside, but the room was a scorching 27 degrees Celsius. On the brighter side, the foot massage on B1 was pretty good, but the dim sum for breakfast on the second floor was just average.

The hotel is really unique with a beautiful, antique design that has a lot of character. The service was excellent, and the breakfast offered a great variety. They even have a movie room! It's right next to Daming Temple, and by chance, I got to see a drone show. Overall, a very satisfying stay, highly recommend!
