"My overall experience was mediocre, with a polarizing mix of pros and cons. My stay at this hotel was, to put it mildly, quite average. There were numerous issues throughout, with only a few minor details managing to salvage some goodwill. I'm sharing this honest review for anyone considering staying here. First, let's talk about the check-in process, which significantly impacted my experience. It was incredibly convoluted and inconvenient. As a guest who booked through Trip.com, I couldn't check in at a convenient spot. Instead, I had to lug heavy luggage nearly 200 meters, navigating twists and turns just to find the registration desk. The whole process was exhausting and frustrating. Even though I checked in during the off-season, which should have made things smoother, the queue was filled with complaints. Guests were generally unhappy with the hotel's arrangements. Even with the front desk staff's polite and patient demeanor, it did little to alleviate everyone's poor mood. Next, the hotel's facilities and room experience fell far short of expectations. I specifically booked a room with a pool, but the pool's cleanliness was shockingly bad. There were bugs, ants, and debris on the water surface and around it – I wouldn't dare swim in it. The supposed recreational amenity was useless. The room itself felt very damp, making it uncomfortable to stay in for long. The overall decor was old-fashioned and tacky. Furthermore, the hotel's signage was extremely unclear. Check-in was on the third floor, but to find my room, I had to go to the first floor and then navigate a confusing maze. There was no logical flow, and I spent a lot of energy just trying to find my way around during my stay. Dining was even more disappointing. The breakfast buffet was set up in a conference room, leading to a crowded and chaotic dining experience. It was completely uncomfortable and lacked the quality and atmosphere one would expect from a hotel breakfast. However, the hotel staff's overall service attitude was excellent. They were responsive to issues and even provided a barrier for me, which was one of the few redeeming qualities. For parents traveling with children, I strongly advise against ordering food from delivery platforms. The hotel's in-room dining menu far exceeded expectations. The Hainanese chicken rice, in particular, was outstanding – clean ingredients, excellent taste, and far superior to food from delivery apps like **. This was truly the only pleasant surprise of my stay."

"The room was surprisingly good, and my whole family loved it. The front desk staff was warm and attentive. The young man who helped us was also excellent—quiet but very handsome! He patiently guided us through check-in, helped with our luggage, and even told us which floor the parking was on and where the 'L' level was, which was super convenient for food deliveries. The beach was just a few minutes' walk away, and the complex itself was lovely with great privacy. They even covered our parking fees. I'd feel bad not giving them a five-star rating! Huge thanks for the care and daily housekeeping during our stay. All in all, fantastic value for money and a great experience. Seriously, for this price on a vacation, what more could you ask for?"

"The hotel more looks like a bed and breakfast than a 4 star hotel. The room we booked was really small, around 12 square meters. With a balcony outside to sit. However, the view does not worth sitting and many other neighbors are just checking you. The room itself was clean, but inside the community isn't very clean at all. Probably, the highest disappointment comes from the public swimming pool which is a really tiny swimming pool. Their swimming pool is around 2.5 meters to 2.5 meters. So if you're coming to have a nice swimming experience, don't even think about it in this hotel. We booked a room with breakfast included which was around 50 yuan more expensive than if we didn't want any breakfast. Let me be honest with you, their breakfast doesn't worth at all. There's no salad, no seasonal fruit, no bread, no coffee (broken coffee machine) and no desert. Forget all the things you can find in breakfast of normal 4 start hotel, It's just some dumplings, egg and simple corn which you can buy from any shop outside for less than 10 yuan all of them. Overall, the price doesn't fit the service you receive, specifically about the swimming pool and breakfast."

Overall, it's still clean, hygienic, comfortable, and elegant. Service: From the concierge to room service, all the staff were smiling and incredibly accommodating. Even when I called the front desk late at night, they patiently resolved my issues."

"This hotel is truly amazing! I didn't have high expectations when I booked it, but it completely exceeded them. The location is incredible, just a 3-5 minute walk to the beach. In the evening, a stroll there to enjoy the sea breeze and watch the sunset at the Liberty Lighthouse is perfect for taking stunning photos. I thought to myself, ”I made the right choice!” The bed in the room was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were just the right firmness. I fell asleep instantly after a long day. The most surprising thing was the hairdryer! I always bring my own when I travel, and I always find hotel hairdryers weak and too hot. I was quite worried about forgetting mine this time, but their hairdryer had a powerful airflow that dried my hair quickly without any waiting time – a big thumbs up! The butler service was also excellent, always attentive to my needs. If I come to Hainan again, I will definitely choose this hotel again!"

"This is a very nice hotel. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bedding and pillows just right. There was also a great balcony., I would have liked a relaxing chair on there, but the furniture was okay. The service is excellent, the people are very friendly and extremely helpful. The pool is nice and clean, the yard is very pretty. The gym is a bit outdated and could do with a makeover and a location other than the dark cellar. Nearby is a pretty beach, a lovely park and an entertaining mall. If you take one of the siden street, you’ll find local shops. There is a bit of noise coming from the streets at night, but if you close the doors, it’s not too much of a bother and stops around 12:00 PM. Airconditioning is working really well. Had a great time, will visit again!"

"For our three-night stay, the hotel offered a complimentary airport transfer (either pick-up or drop-off at Sanya Phoenix Airport). The owner had initially promised both airport pick-up and high-speed rail station drop-off. However, after considering our plans, we ultimately opted to rent a car for convenience. A complimentary professional photoshoot was also offered, but my family didn't take advantage of it. We booked two rooms and stayed for three consecutive nights. I was personally very satisfied, and the service was excellent. Funnily enough, on our second day, I even ran into an old elementary school classmate during breakfast! What a small world! My friend stayed at the boathouse next door for their first night. My entire family stayed here for all three days, and everyone was very happy with it. Renting a car is essential for getting around conveniently in this area. P.S. The lady who runs the convenience store next door is incredibly kind and enthusiastic, giving us lots of local tips and recommendations. We had an absolute blast playing at the beach – so much fun we were practically hanging seaweed from our ears!"

"This is the cleanest, hygienic, good service and very hard-core store I have ever stayed in Hainan. Before I arrived at the store, I received a call from the young lady and asked us when we would arrive at the store. Do we want to turn on the air conditioner 20 minutes in advance? When we arrived on the roadside, we saw the young lady coming to pick us up and help us with our luggage. When we arrived at the hotel, the white floor could not bear to step in. The whole decoration made me very shocked, far more beautiful than the picture, the lobby is large, very design, and it is very popular. The bedding was white and flawless by the sun, and the room lighting was very soft. I went to the bed and looked at the green plants outside the window. It was very comfortable and relaxing. "To be honest, the hotel overall is a bit old, but the cleanliness is top-notch. However, germaphobes might find it a bit uncomfortable because it truly is dated. The nightstands, walls, floor tiles, etc., don't look very fresh and could easily be mistaken for dirty, but a wipe with a wet tissue reveals they are actually very clean! Just old. The pool tiles are severely damaged, so definitely wear shoes when swimming, otherwise, it's easy to get injured!!! The beach sand is dark, and there are many cigarette butts, making it unsuitable for small children. The hotel is very close to Monkey Island and the lighthouse! The hotel service, though, is truly excellent. There was a minor hiccup at the beginning, but everything was resolved in the end. We were upgraded to a suite and even received afternoon tea and a Chinese dinner. Many thanks for turning what could have been an unpleasant experience into a truly great one! The staff absolutely deserve full marks! In summary, if the pool were to be truly repaired and the hotel rooms given a bit of a renovation, I would definitely come back!"
