This hotel truly deserves a big thumbs up! The service is exceptionally comprehensive and thoughtful. Although the location isn't particularly prominent, there's a cozy reading corner, which really shows the management's vision. You can even choose from about six different types of pillows, and they offer a foot bath service where an attendant prepares the water for you. All in all, it's excellent. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

We booked a standard twin room. It wasn't huge, but perfectly adequate. The service was great, and the location was excellent with lots of shops downstairs. Surprisingly, it was quiet at night; perhaps because our window faced a residential building? The breakfast spread was extensive with plenty of choices.

I highly recommend the Modern Four Seasons Hotel! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly until morning. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and very efficient. The location is convenient. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Arrived in Urumqi on an early flight, and the Grand Bazaar wasn't open yet. Wanted to freshen up first, so I booked a by-the-hour room. It was super convenient and great value! It's a 10-minute walk to Jinquan Mall and 15 minutes to the Grand Bazaar. Plus, the hotel offers luggage storage! Definitely worth it. They even have hair straighteners available for guests in the lobby – how thoughtful!

Service: For check in on trip, it says to call a day in advance. I tried this, but the person who answered couldn't speak English. It was not a problem, because I then messaged on the online chat. That was perfectly fine and they responded very quickly. I'd say if you don't speak Chinese, just message online. The front desk staff were super helpful when I was there, and quick to use a translator so we could communicate well. Amenities: I did some washing, laundry detergent cost ¥10 I think, and again the staff were very helpful, finding as many hangers as I needed to dry my clothes. Location: The environment was so peaceful, the lobby was a nice air-conditioned place to hang out. The outside grass area was so lovely, with little lavender and rose plants and chairs to sit outside. There is also a bar across the courtyard, and a coffee shop. The area is a bit far out of the city, but it is right near the metro, lots of local shops, and a mall with some big chain stores. Things to consider: I stayed in the single room attached to the women's dorm. It was so handy to have my own space for a very reasonable price. However, the single room itself does not have its own air-conditioning. The women's dorm does, so to cool the room down, I would just keep the door between open for a bit. Still, it was never as cold as the dorm room because it went up to 40°c outside when I was there, and I preferred to keep the door locked when I went out to keep my belongings safe. The single room does have a fan and a window, so you can get some airflow through there. Overall, it was fine, just be aware if you are travelling during the summer. (Also one suggestion I would have is to put a mirror in the room, so you can get ready in there). The only other issue was no soap for washing hands in the dorm bathroom, although there was shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower. Cat: The cat was so cute! 🐈

I mainly chose this hotel for a museum visit the next morning, as it's a convenient 10-minute walk away. The parking downstairs is incredibly small, with only a few spots, so even arriving at 3 PM, it's usually full. However, if you talk to the front desk, they can direct you to a residential area about a 5-minute walk away. You pay there and then get reimbursed by the hotel. The room was on a lower floor, and the family room itself was decent-sized, not small, but it was close to the elevator and quite noisy. I was woken up around 6 AM by people talking and the elevator sounds. Even when I wasn't sleeping, I could hear the robot vacuum cleaning on an incline. The bathroom facilities were fine. Although the hotel is next to an overpass, the noise wasn't significant, especially at night with fewer cars, so it didn't bother me. The front desk service was mediocre. The tall young men and women, whether checking in or out, had a very indifferent attitude, almost like children talking to their parents – 'What?', 'Oh?', 'Huh?'. They only answered when asked, and their height made them seem even more condescending. The whole experience felt uncomfortable. They are the face of the hotel and need to improve their demeanor, not just be tall. Overall, the location is good; it's convenient for takeaways and dining out.

As a frequent business traveler, this Holiday Inn Express in Urumqi is one of the most reliable I've stayed at. The room was clean with no strange odors, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The 24-hour hot water and laundry room are incredibly practical, perfect for business travelers. Breakfast was fresh and filling. The front desk staff were efficient, making check-out a breeze. The location is convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, it's a stress-free and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

The location is good because it is not far from the expressway, and there are both slow and fast EV charges available at the hotel, the check-in process was not as smooth as other hotels as per my experience, they did not add the Wechat in advance which led to slower communication. The amenities were not good because we booked a room for three, but they only included items for two people, even after requesting for extra drinking water, we only got two more bottles, the washroom was not completely clean because we found strands of hair and the drain was not completely unclogged, it is still value for money based on the price I paid.

The service was great! They even gave me a free room upgrade, which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was delicious. Every time I stay here, the staff are so welcoming, and all the front desk personnel are lovely. I really love this hotel. There are good restaurants downstairs, and it's close to where I like to go shopping. It has a nice, relaxed pace of life.
