We had a wonderful stay at this Atour Hotel. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and every staff member we met was warm, friendly, and approachable. We were especially impressed by the security guard, who thoughtfully offered us drinks while we were waiting in the lobby for our transport. Such proactive hospitality made us feel truly welcomed. The counter staff were extremely helpful with our queries. I also loved the lobby, which was beautifully designed with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. It was a pleasant place to sit and unwind while waiting or simply taking a short break. The attention to cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding. The towels and drinking cups were individually packed in sealed bags, giving us added confidence in the hotel’s hygiene standards. The complimentary self-service laundry facilities, complete with washers, dryers, and steam irons, were a huge convenience, especially for longer stays. The nightly porridge supper was another thoughtful touch that added great value to our stay. We used it on the last stay after many days of Xinjiang food. The hotel’s location is excellent, with plenty of food options within walking distance, and it is easy to get around the city by Didi. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations with its excellent service, thoughtful amenities, cleanliness, and convenient location. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Urumqi.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. However, I would like to share our experience with the complimentary photo session so that future guests know what to expect. If you book through Trip.com, please check carefully what is included. We were informed by the photo studio that our complimentary photo session did not include the traditional costume, while if th guests who booked through some other travel agencies were able to use the costume free of charge. We found this difference quite surprising. Another disappointing experience was the complimentary photos. The hotel receptionist told us that we would receive 3 free photos per person, so as two guests we expected 6 photos. However, when we arrived at the photo studio, we were told that the offer was actually 3 photos per room. The inconsistent information between the hotel and the photo studio caused unnecessary confusion and disappointment. I hope the hotel and the photo studio can provide consistent information in the future, so guests know exactly what is included before they arrive.

Extremely satisfied, will definitely come again next time! The whole process was incredibly professional and enthusiastic, providing us with convenient service. The breakfast was delicious, and the front desk ladies were very helpful, always accommodating our requests. They even provided extra water for free and were very cooperative. Everything at this place is inspiring and catchy, in one way or another. Comfortably furnished, with a clean common space that has a nice bookshelf, a reading area, dining table and a soft furry couch. If there is one thing visible through the layout of this inn, it is that they take living with art with gusto, and this is an advantage for artsy guests. To top it all off, cat lovers would actually appreciate this place due to its feline thematics and the mascot cat Hanhan. For its price, it is a wonderful place for a stay in Urumqi.

They handled check-in and check-out efficiently and quickly, patiently answering all my questions with a kind and attentive attitude. Any requests were promptly addressed, demonstrating great professionalism and making me feel very well taken care of. The hotel's attached parking lot is very convenient, with plenty of spacious spots, making parking easy and hassle-free. Security management is well-organized, and entry/exit is smooth, which is a huge plus for those traveling by car. I felt very secure leaving my vehicle there. The room itself was fully equipped and well-maintained, with brand-new hardware. The air conditioning, bathroom facilities, lighting, and internet all worked perfectly without any issues, ensuring maximum comfort during my stay. The room had good natural light and ventilation, a practical layout, soft and comfortable bedding, and excellent soundproofing, allowing for a peaceful and quiet night's sleep. The hotel's cleanliness was top-notch; every corner was spotless, and the toiletries were of good quality, making for a clean and reassuring stay. The surrounding area offers convenient access for getting around, and the overall service was attentive and meticulous. From the environment and service to the hardware facilities, everything reflected quality. It offers great value for money.

Stayed in a dorm room then moved to a private once one became available. Both rooms were clean and comfortable, I especially liked the softness of the beds and the strength of the AC, as it was summer when we stayed. The hosts were always very helpful and their cat is adorable. The public spaces were also cozy and had amazing views of the city below. It was easy to bring our bicycles up the elevator and store them in the hostel.

Stayed at Holiday Inn Express Urumqi during the May Day holiday – a no-brainer choice! ✅ It's under the InterContinental brand, so reliable, and the location near the high-speed rail station makes getting around super convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, with full amenities, and the service was warm and attentive. Having both breakfast and late-night snacks was a double dose of happiness, and the value for money was incredible! Perfect for any trip during the May Day holiday. I was won over after just one stay, and I'll definitely be back!

There are good restaurants downstairs, and it's close to where I like to go shopping. It has a nice, relaxed pace of life.
