"Booking this apartment hotel was the best decision of our Busan trip. This new apartment hotel, opened in 2026, is definitely worth a try! **Location:** It's right in the heart of Haeundae Walking Street. The building is brand new and can be considered one of the landmarks. It's a 5-minute walk from Haeundae Subway Station and a 5-minute walk from Haeundae Beach. Haeundae Walking Street is right downstairs. **Room:** We chose the two-bedroom ocean view suite this time, and there's only one per floor. The suite has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for family travel. The toiletries in the bathrooms are very high-end. Disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste need to be brought by guests. The washing machine, kitchen, and microwave are not available for use, and no knives, forks, bowls, or chopsticks are provided; these are only for long-term stays. **Facilities:** This time, I only visited the hotel reception on the third floor, and the lobby is very spacious. On the ground floor of the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven convenience store and a popular cafe and bakery. **Cons:** As a new hotel, there's still a noticeable new-hotel smell, so those sensitive to smells should consider this. **Service:** As an apartment hotel, daily cleaning is not provided. If cleaning is required, advance notice is needed. **In summary,** if your budget allows, definitely go for an ocean-view room. Even if you're on a tighter budget, this place is still highly recommended."

"What a chaotic combination of a building utterly unprepared for heavy rain (leaking everywhere, puddles forming) and the Matié management's complete lack of consideration for how uncomfortable guests would be. There was no basic guidance like directing us to the check-in lounge or telling us to use the underground passage when moving between buildings A and B. So, initially, we walked on the first floor, got drenched with our luggage... And with few signs, we were just wandering around. We weren't the only ones. The breakfast buffet is absolutely, definitively not recommended. The bread was old and hard, and they poured commercial orange juice right in front of guests. The seaweed soup was under-seasoned. All this for a 500,000 won stay, and 28,000 won per person for breakfast?! I will never go back. They seriously need to make major improvements. Tsk."

The breakfast is quite expensive, and the only plus is the abalone congee. Don't waste your money booking this one. The soundproofing isn't great, and there's noise from the club behind. The room had a strong odor and construction dust. If you want to be a human air purifier, then this is the place for you."

"Beautiful room with a spectacular city view. Comfy beds, modern shower, and a heated toilet seat. We were delighted to find a washing machine with a dryer. Towels, toilet paper, and water were left outside our door daily, which was very convenient. On the downside, there were no utensils for eating (even though there's a stove), and we had trouble turning on the heated floor (no instructions, all in Korean). Also, upon check-in, they requested a credit card (needed for a deposit for extra services or to cover damages). We had one, but if you don't, it's best to confirm this information via chat beforehand."

"Coming to Korea for a summer vacation, Busan was our second stop, and this new hotel in Busan was by far the best throughout our trip. The bedding was new, and the facilities were complete. You could even cook your own noodles, with tableware and a microwave provided (please clean up after yourself and protect the equipment before leaving). Self-check-in on the 2nd floor was very convenient. It was also easy to pick up water from the 2nd floor during working hours. Food deliveries could be brought right to the room door. Downstairs is Haeundae Commercial Street, and it's a short walk to the capsule train and Kamakura, making it super convenient to get anywhere from here. The subway line 2 is just a 3-4 minute walk downstairs. In the evening, it was very pleasant to go to the beach and enjoy the sea breeze. The only drawback was that the duvet cover fabric was too stiff. When turning over in bed at night, the rustling sound from the duvet was quite loud. Aside from the bedding issue, I would definitely book this hotel again."

"The room was spacious and newly renovated with modern facilities. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and it's very close to Lotte Department Store and the subway station. The only downside was a strong smell due to the fresh renovation, but their air purification system worked wonders, and the smell was almost gone after a few hours. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very comfortable environment, and I would definitely consider staying here again."

Aside from the strange layout with a lot of wasted space, the location is great, the room is new, the view is excellent, and the price is reasonable."

Paramion Hotel Nampo

"The location is excellent. The hotel is conveniently situated near both Nampo Station and Jagalchi Station, making it easy to take the metro to different parts of Busan. It is also right beside BIFF Square, with plenty of restaurants and eateries within walking distance. There are two Daiso stores less than a 5-minute walk away, and a huge Olive Young outlet had just opened right beside the hotel during our stay, which was very convenient. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. One of the biggest plus points was the water filter, which saved us the hassle of constantly buying bottled water. The washing machine and dryer were also brand new and worked very well. The view from the room was fantastic. Waking up to the view each morning really brightened up our day. We did not get daily housekeeping because the available cleaning schedule did not fit our plans. However, we did request fresh towels and rubbish collection every other day, which was sufficient for us. One downside was the location of the washing machine and dryer. They were situated right beside the beds and generated quite a lot of noise when operating, especially at night. This did disrupt our sleep on a few occasions. The building houses three different hotels, with all three receptions located on the 3rd floor. There was a security post on the ground floor, although we rarely saw anyone stationed there. That said, the building had numerous security cameras. The first floor was mostly vacant, with no shops operating there. There were rental signs for the retail spaces placed throughout the floor, which made the area feel somewhat unfinished. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, particularly because of the excellent location, cleanliness, comfortable bed, fantastic view, and useful in-room facilities."

"This was my first time in Busan, so I chose an area around Seomyeon Station. I found it quickly using a map app, and there's a front desk and a cafe where staff guided me. I arrived 30 minutes early, but was still able to check in. The room itself was small but very clean. The only downside was that there's no partition between the bathroom and the toilet, so water always flows onto the floor. The amenities were good, and we got two bottles of water per person per day. The air conditioner didn't turn on with the switch by the entrance, so I gave up on the first day. But on the second day, when I asked a staff member, they kindly told me the main power switch was on the TV remote. The breakfast had a lot of delicious, freshly baked bread."
