"Booking and check-in were seamless. Unfortunately, the hotel wasn't listed on Naver Maps, but using it with Google Maps made getting there by public transport easy (Exit 7 of Seomyeon Subway Station, there's also an elevator, though it's quite hidden).
There's no air conditioning in the hallways leading to the rooms. The in-room AC only works with the room card inserted. This isn't an issue for two people with two cards, but for a solo traveler, it was a bit inconvenient as the room was always scorching hot when I returned from sightseeing.
The furnishings are very new and appear high-quality. There's a large TV, good air conditioning, a refrigerator, a safe big enough for a laptop, a small nook with hangers, a hairdryer, a shoehorn, slippers, and pajamas. The outlets are European. Plus, there's a kettle, and tea and coffee are provided in the room. Water bottles are in the fridge. The amenities leave nothing to be desired.
The window in the room was a bit small, and unfortunately, the room door was not very soundproof. You could hear almost everything from the hallway inside the room.
Housekeeping was essentially perfect, except for the headboard of the bed being missed during dusting.
The breakfast buffet was small but delicious, especially the croissants – they were excellent!
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. When the cleaning staff accidentally threw away my breakfast coupons, the front desk issued new ones without any fuss.
There are numerous good cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Lotte Department Store is about a 3-minute walk away, and Exit 7 of the subway station is roughly an 8-minute walk.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would book here again."
