"The room was fantastic. Angus from the Executive Lounge was waiting for us on the first floor when we checked in. The next morning, he even asked how we slept and if we had breakfast. A lamp on my in-room dining table wasn't working the night before, and he had it fixed by breakfast the next day. He even went to the room to confirm the repair was complete. In the afternoon, he helped me arrange a car to go out. He was off on the third day, which was my check-out day, but he had a colleague send me a small gift. In fact, all the staff in the Executive Lounge team had excellent service attitudes, greeting us proactively and speaking softly. When we checked out, they even walked us to the elevator. The food in the Executive Lounge was also delicious; my son said it was second only to the Ritz-Carlton in Nanjing. It was a holiday that day, and after dinner, they even gave me a bouquet of flowers, which made me very happy, and I took photos. Back in the room, they also sent a fruit platter. All in all, the Ritz-Carlton will definitely be my first choice when I come to Wuhan!"

"I booked this hotel for my trip to Wuhan and I'm really satisfied! It's a designer hotel, and it's the favorite I've ever stayed in! The logo at the entrance, the lobby, the elevator, the hallway on each floor, and the overall design of the room itself all have a consistent theme! I love it so much! I genuinely wish my future home could incorporate some of its design elements. The bathroom door in the room is a sliding door with a round glass panel, which feels very high-quality. The clothes hanging area is also nice, and even the hairdryer bag feels premium! The round windows by the main window are also beautiful and unique. Plus, everything in the room is smart-controlled, making for a very comfortable stay, and the bedding is excellent for sleeping! Even the toiletries provided are of high quality."

"This newly opened hotel is impeccable, both in terms of hardware and software, with smart home features throughout. The service is top-notch; even the cleaning staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, so much so that I regret not having a bigger stomach to enjoy it all! The underground parking lot has plenty of spaces, making parking convenient. I just left in such a hurry that I forgot to take photos."

"Staying here for my trip to Wuhan was super convenient! It's right on Sanyang Road, within walking distance to Hankou Beach, and surrounded by tons of great food – you can just wander around and find authentic local snacks everywhere. All the in-room facilities were in perfect working order; the hot water and air conditioning both worked great, and the AC was new and cooled down the room quickly. The linens were clean too. The staff, especially the ladies, provided excellent service. I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade, which gave me a bigger room with a sofa big enough for two. The decor was also new and very stylish. It's really good value for money, and it was great to come back after a day of exploring and get a good night's rest. Highly recommended!"

"Is a Novotel not part of Huazhu still a true Accor? This time in Wuhan, I stayed at the Optics Valley Novotel, booking a 270° floor-to-ceiling window deluxe king room. Before my stay, I did some research and found that it's a brand under Accor from France, only opening in 2026. Many Novotels in China are under the Huazhu Hotel Group system, but this one isn't; it's a new hotel directly managed by Accor. I was a little apprehensive, wondering if it might be a bit lacking, but after my stay, I realized my worries were unfounded. The moment I pulled back the curtains, I knew I'd made the right choice. With windows on three sides, the view was incredibly expansive. Below was the streetscape of Optics Valley, and it was so pleasant to look out at night when the lights were on. The room featured smart controls, allowing me to turn off lights and close curtains with just my voice. As a lazy person, I literally turned off all the lights from bed before falling asleep 😂. The mattress was just the right firmness, and I slept soundly until I woke up naturally. The minibar was quite generous, stocked with Coke, Sprite, Oriental Leaf tea, and water, along with some snacks. Watching TV at night just feels incomplete without a can of Coke. Another detail I really liked was the pleasant fragrance throughout the entire hotel – the lobby, corridors, and rooms all had the same light, clean scent. Every time I got into the elevator, I couldn't help but take a few extra deep breaths. The service was genuinely warm too. I usually bring a few changes of clothes to hotels to wash them myself in the laundry room, but the staff saw me and directly helped me wash and dry them. When I went to pick them up, the clothes were still warm. At that moment, I truly felt the money spent was well worth it. Attention fitness enthusiasts 🙋! The gym actually has a power rack and dumbbells! I've stayed at so many chain hotels of similar prices, and most just throw in a treadmill and call it a day. This place truly understands what people who train need. Breakfast was also impressive. The Chinese dim sum included siomai, buns, dumplings, and purple rice balls. In the Western pastry section, there was a whole slab of honey that you could drizzle yourself, perfect with croissants and egg tarts. There were also several kinds of fruit; I had two rounds all by myself. The location was convenient as well, less than 2 kilometers from Optics Valley Square, making it suitable for business trips or leisure. There are also many dining options downstairs. In short, I was very satisfied with this stay and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Optics Valley. What does it matter if it's not part of Huazhu? The Accor brand holds its own."

The environment was quiet, not noisy, and the location was excellent, making travel very convenient.
