The Wanda Reign Wuhan (Wanda Ruihua Jiudian) is situated in the beautiful East Lake scenic area. Downtown Wuhan and Wuhan Railway Station are about a 15-minute drive away respectively.This deluxe Wanda hotel offers free parking and Wi-Fi access in public areas. Dining options include Chinese, Japanese and Western foods. With seven function rooms and a 1,500 sqm (16145 sq ft) banquet hall, this Wuhan hotel is equipped for handling small to large scale events, conferences and banquets.  When you get some free time, make sure to pay a visit to the bar, relax in the sauna or take a dip in the indoor pool. Those with a workout regime to uphold can maintain it at the gym.

"I booked one of the only two family rooms at the Ruihua Hotel. It offered a direct view of ”Han Street,” and the overall environment was quite good and clean. The hotel itself looked a bit traditional but not overly flashy. It has a gym, swimming pool, and sauna, which was perfect for someone like me who enjoys working out. During the May Day holiday, it was quite popular. The breakfast buffet started to have a queue after 9 AM, but I always went a bit earlier and usually found a table. There's also afternoon tea on the 28th floor; I had quite a bit of it on the first day while waiting for my room, haha! The sauna room was a bit small, but there was hardly anyone there, so I had it all to myself. However, it felt like many guests here were from government agencies, with fewer young people and mostly families. Overall, the stay at Ruihua is currently my second favorite hotel experience – very good!"

From its perch atop the International Finance Center, The Ritz-Carlton, Wuhan features 204guest rooms and suites overlooking the Yangtze River and city skyline, alongside four distinguished dining venues, sophisticated event spaces, and a sky-high wellness sanctuary integrating a spa, fitness center and swimming pool. The hotel is around a 45-minute drive from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, a 20-minute drive from Hankou Railway Station, and a 30-minute drive from Wuhan Railway Station. Situated in thecity's commercial core, the hotel places guests within effortless reach of luxury shopping malls, cultural attractions and vibrant urban leisure destinations. The legendary service of The Ritz-Carltoncurates an immersion into the spirit of Wuhan, from its historic waterways to its landmark skyline.

"I blindly booked an Executive Skyview King Room at the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan for three days and two nights. Then, on May 30th, thanks to being unable to pay for an upgrade at a former top-tier luxury hotel, I unhesitatingly extended my stay at the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan for another five days and four nights. This allowed me to have an incredibly pleasant May Day 'Staycation' during my brief eight-day visit to Wuhan. Before checking in, I received a pre-arrival call from Camellia, the Executive Lounge Supervisor, and multiple contacts on the day of my arrival. She came downstairs to greet me, proactively informed me about changes in the weather, and after check-in, arranged for an upgrade and informed me of dinner times. Because she noticed my voice was slightly hoarse during the pre-arrival call, she thoughtfully prepared rock sugar stewed pear (P4), which was served during dinner at the Executive Lounge. This genuinely impressed me, a frequent traveler who often calls hotels home due to work, even though it wasn't my first time in Wuhan but my first stay at a newly opened hotel. Over the next two days, whether it was the three daily meals (the executive five meals in this 'Carb Capital' luxury hotel were truly more than a normal person could handle! So good! 👍) or every aspect of housekeeping and daily life, especially the 'hidden menu' six-course breakfast (P5-P10) specially prepared by Executive Lounge Manager Angus during breakfast on the second day – it was full of surprises with not a single misstep. I'd even suggest that those with smaller appetites might consider ordering à la carte, because if you eat it all, you'll find that besides feeling 'carb-ed out,' you might not even be able to enjoy a pleasant afternoon or a rich dinner. 🧸 Don't ask me how I know! During my eight-day stay, almost every day was filled with joy, happiness, and, of course, various delicious foods and wines. 🥂 As a friend who moved from a former top-tier luxury hotel in Wuhan to the Ritz-Carlton on May Day said, 'It's rare to see me stay in one hotel for so long' (due to my allergies, I have high demands for food and lodging). But indeed, since checking in on April 27th, for someone who usually works late and doesn't sleep until after midnight, being able to fall asleep punctually at 10:30 PM every night was something I couldn't even imagine myself doing. As for the food, whether it was Chinese or Western Xiangyang beef noodles, tomato meat sauce pasta, crayfish cold noodles, Australian beef and lamb chops, pan-fried cod and salmon, abalone braised pork, creamy pumpkin soup, mushroom cream soup, cordyceps old chicken/duck soup, or even daily freshly squeezed cucumber juice and golden passion fruit – there was such a variety of dishes and desserts, from breakfast to dinner, that I didn't even have time to try them all. And let's not forget the cocktails made by Ari and Carah! 🍸 So, taking this opportunity to review my order, I must express my gratitude to the Executive Lounge team: Angus, Camellia, Carah, Ari, May, Freya, and Alina; Chef Yuuki, Kenny, and Chef Gong Feng (whose English name I don't know); Lumi, the supervisor of the lobby cafe; the super lovely Aunt Liu Yuping, who was responsible for daily room cleaning; and the super careful and honest Master Li, the hotel's chauffeur! Thank you all for your professional service and customer-first attitude, which made the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan my top choice for a staycation along the Yangtze River in the magnificent city of Wuhan. See you next time in Wuhan!"

"Our stay was excellent! We arrived in Wuhan a day early because we couldn't get train tickets for the May Day holiday, so we booked an extra night at the hotel. We checked in very late, in the early hours of the morning. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. They combined our bookings, which saved us the hassle of checking out and then back in again the next day. They also kindly offered us complimentary breakfast for April 30th. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of Wuhan's local specialties. The lounge, however, offered a more limited selection. If you're looking for a wider spread, I'd recommend dining on the first floor. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. On the first day of the May Day holiday, they even wished us 'Happy May Day' as we left the hotel. Staying at the Shangri-La is definitely a great choice when visiting Wuhan."

"This was my first time in Wuhan, and I was very satisfied with a few things: 1. The hotel's location is excellent. The Metro Line 4 entrance is right outside, and you can even enter the hotel directly from the subway station, which is incredibly convenient. 2. The hotel service was fantastic. From the front desk staff to the cleaning ladies, everyone was warm and attentive. Requests for extra pillows and a rollaway bed were handled very quickly. 3. The hotel amenities were great. The TV had screen casting, food deliveries could be sent directly to the room, and the hairdryer was a Dyson. These aspects definitely set it above other similar hotels. However, I did have a few dissatisfactions: 1. There was no butler service for the executive suite. 2. Communication with guests could be improved. The leftover welcome fruit and used cutlery weren't cleared for three consecutive days. 3. The executive lounge had a limited selection of drinks and the food wasn't particularly varied. It didn't feel prestigious or luxurious at all; it was just very average."

"Marco Polo Wuhan: An Unexpectedly Great Stay at a Classic Five-Star Hotel **Reason for Choosing:** When booking a hotel, location was my top priority, and the Marco Polo certainly delivers. However, after browsing online reviews, which were a mixed bag of good and bad, I was a bit hesitant. Then I remembered the Hong Kong Marco Polo, a long-standing establishment I’ve always held in high regard. Trusting in the reputation of classic hotels, I decided to go with this one. **Location:** Absolutely unbeatable location. The hotel is right next to the Yangtze River, and just across the road is Jiangtan Park, perfect for a pleasant evening stroll – it has a bit of an old Shanghai Bund vibe. Next to the hotel is Lihuangpi Road, a charming street with many cafes, also reminiscent of Shanghai. The entire riverside avenue features old, historic buildings, and the view of the buildings across the river from Jiangtan Park is simply stunning. **Room:** I booked an Executive Floor room, which offered a view of the Yangtze River. The hotel underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2024, so while the room's layout retains a classic hotel style, the soft furnishings, carpets, and other elements are all new, making for a very comfortable stay. The room size was also quite generous. Many online reviews mentioned issues with the rooms, but I was extremely satisfied with mine. **Executive Lounge:** The Executive Lounge was the highlight of my stay. * **Ambiance:** The lounge boasts excellent river views and a fantastic atmosphere. The table linens and decor transported me back to the golden age of classic hotels – I remember a time when staying on the Executive Floor meant checking in separately at the lounge, enjoying breakfast there for peace and quiet away from the crowded main dining area, and having afternoon tea and happy hour. Nowadays, many hotels cut these services to save costs. We had just come from the Grand Hyatt in Changsha, where they’d even stopped offering breakfast in the Executive Lounge. So, it was truly satisfying to see that this hotel still maintains the high standards and style of a classic hotel. * **Service:** The Executive Lounge staff were incredibly attentive. I can honestly say it was the best service I've experienced in an Executive Lounge at any 5-star hotel in recent years. The staff genuinely went above and beyond to meet every guest's request. A special shout-out to Xiaoxiong (Fairy)! * **Food & Beverage:** The afternoon tea and Happy Hour selections were abundant. The breakfast was even more impressive, featuring an à la carte menu. This truly embodies the customer-centric philosophy of a classic luxury five-star hotel. **Service Philosophy (Special Commendation):** In an era where many five-star hotels have completely forgotten their fundamental goal of “serving guests” and prioritize cost-cutting, the Marco Polo stands apart. It continues to uphold its service philosophy, truly embodying the essence of a luxury hotel. This dedication is incredibly touching and highly commendable. **Overall Impression:** This stay was unexpectedly wonderful. It offered great value for money. All the negative issues I had worried about from online reviews didn't materialize. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and if they visit Wuhan, especially Hankou, this will be my top recommendation."

"This hotel completely exceeded my expectations for this trip. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was impressed by the meticulous service and comfortable, elegant environment. **Front Desk Service - Leon Li: Warm, Professional, and Welcoming** As soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance, a staff member immediately came forward to help with my luggage. Upon entering, Leon Li at the front desk promptly stood up with a smile to greet me. He was patient and efficient throughout the entire check-in process. I arrived two hours late due to a flight delay, but the front desk didn't rush me at all. Instead, they thoughtfully informed me that they had already reserved a room with a better view. They also thoroughly explained the hotel's breakfast hours, gym operating times, and local transportation tips. What touched me even more was when I casually mentioned needing to catch an early high-speed train the next day. The front desk proactively helped me book a wake-up call and even prepared a portable breakfast bag in advance. The attention to detail truly made me feel warm and cared for. Throughout the entire interaction, the front desk maintained a gentle tone, professional yet approachable, without any hint of perfunctoriness. It instantly melted away my travel fatigue, giving me a sense of comfort and belonging, like coming home. **Room Facilities: Comprehensive, Convenient, and Supremely Comfortable** The moment I opened the guest room door, I was struck by the abundant natural light and tidy layout. The room was spacious, with a simple yet elegant decor. There were no superfluous decorations, but every detail exuded sophistication. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and the pillows were just the right height, providing excellent support for a perfect night's sleep. The room was also fully equipped. My short stay of a few days truly made me feel the hotel's dedication and professionalism. The warm service from the front desk, the comfortable room facilities, and the impeccable cleanliness all showcase the hotel's quality and sincerity. Whether for business or leisure, this is an excellent choice. I've already added it to my 'must-stay list' and will choose it again on my next visit!"
