This is a fantastic guesthouse, exceeding our expectations! We booked a twin room with two kids, but after checking in and showering, the owner upgraded us to a family room with two double beds – such a pleasant surprise! We extended our stay for another night. The food at the guesthouse was especially delicious; we'll definitely stay here again next time. The owners are incredibly welcoming – thumbs up! 👍

The stay experience was very good. Although the room is small, it is very clean and the facilities are very useful. In addition, we were surprised that the owner of the hotel was very enthusiastic. The meals are prepared very carefully and fresh and delicious. You can book dinner with the boss in advance, and there is also a mini bar for a drink. The interior decoration of the homestay is also ingenious and unique. In addition to the indoor landscape, the homestay also has a design outdoor environment and a small garden. They raised a puppy called ”Dodo”, which was also very cute. In short, this trip was very happy and satisfying, largely because I chose this homestay, which met our needs for rest and experience in all aspects. Praise recommendation!

This is a trip that comes and goes, and it is also a trip of surprise. I originally thought I would come to Ya'an during the upcoming Tomb Sweeping Day holiday, taste Ya'an fish, and take in the scenery. However, this store was so popular that it was no longer possible to book a room, so the family decided to advance the trip temporarily. After arriving, I discovered that this store is popular for a reason. The location is really comfortable, close to the mountains and facing the water. The windows are facing the lake. It is very comfortable when the sky is clear. The food is also delicious, especially the yak beef hot pot and short crispy pork. The former is very fresh and the latter is very fragrant, especially the paste on the crispy pork, which can feel like air bubbles. Another surprise is that after arriving at the store, the store upgraded the room type. The family said that they would bring the children back for a second visit later.

We took our child to Bifengxia to see the pandas, and blindly choosing the Muyunchunshu Homestay was an absolute stroke of genius – definitely five stars! It's only a ten-minute drive from the panda base on a smooth road, making it perfect for traveling with seniors and kids without getting tired. The homestay's courtyard is spacious and safe, allowing children to run around freely, and the mosquito protection is excellent. The rooms are also spacious, equipped with children's toiletries and small slippers. The mattress firmness is just right, and our child slept soundly through the night. The entire house has a wet/dry separation, stable hot water, and mild, non-irritating toiletries. The owners are incredibly kind and prepare fresh local fruits. The breakfast, with its balanced mix of grains, eggs, and side dishes, is perfect for little ones. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful; you can hear birds chirping in the morning, and the air quality is superb. The cleanliness is impeccable, with floors and bathrooms meticulously cleaned daily, so we felt completely at ease during our stay. This is our top choice for a family vacation, offering far better value for money than other hotels in the area!

Nestled in the Mengding Mountains of Ya'an, Sichuan, two siblings with a passion for literature and art have created a guesthouse that feels like a secluded paradise, brimming with natural vitality. The name itself is poetically chosen: ”Night's Rest.” Interpretation is subjective. The guesthouse owners, with their simple and sincere service philosophy, ingenious design, and the unique natural scenery and excellent ecological environment of the Mengding Mountains, attract many like-minded guests, including a steady stream of international tourists. Driven by a deep affection for Ya'an, the ”Rainy City,” and a longing for the Mengding Mountains, I searched and discovered this dreamlike guesthouse. I was fortunate enough to stay briefly, chat with the owners, and experience a wonderfully unexpected journey, leaving me with unforgettable memories. This brief, albeit incomplete, personal experience is offered as a tribute to the guesthouse owners' dedication and craftsmanship.

We chose this guesthouse inside the scenic area so we could get an early start for the wildlife park the next day. It's only a 5-minute walk from the visitor center! To be honest, traveling during a major holiday, my expectations weren't that high. But when we arrived, we were met with a warm welcome from the owner and a clean room. Even though it was raining outside, it felt warm and cozy inside! Plus, during check-in, the owner kindly gave my child a panda doll, which made them very happy. And when I accidentally left my phone at the front desk, the owner promptly brought it to my room – I was truly touched by all these gestures! Regarding the food, since we didn't want the hassle, we asked the owner to arrange dinner directly. The free-range chicken hotpot was excellent; my child had three bowls of soup! For two adults and one child, we couldn't even finish the set meal, which shows how generous the owner is! Breakfast at the guesthouse was decent, with congee, steamed buns, milk, eggs, noodles, and wontons – plenty of choices! All in all, we were quite satisfied with this trip! I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely return if I need accommodation in the area again!

The description in the hotel description doesn't do the place justice. The villa we booked is actually part of a 3 storey building. From the pictures, it appears our booking has only 1 bathtub. In reality, there is a bath tub in a huge wash room, a living area, a tea drinking area in EACH of the 3 rooms in our villa. And there is a further living area, a kitchen, a washing machine and even an outdoor sauna outside the 3 rooms for communal gathering. Tea Master Lee was very patient in bringing us to pick tea leaves each of the 2 days we were there. He taught us how to process yellow tea one day (which requires fermentation) and green tea on the second day. We could bring back the green tea on the spot, but as the yellow tea requires time, he would mail it to us. Tea Master Lee just won a competition when we went and we totally appreciated his expertise as well as his sharing of knowledge. He was very approachable and well versed in his art. One note, we were really in the countryside and transport is not readily available such that we had to walk back one night in the dark to the hotel with cars zooming by us as we had a late dinner in the nearby town. And again, as we were in the countryside, places close early and we almost couldn't find a place for dinner as we ended our day late after hiking Mount Mengding. Distances are pretty great between places and didi is not widely used. The kitchen staff and our housekeeping staff were totally warm and friendly. It might be good to provide washing detergent since washing machines are provided.

The boss and his family are very nice. The room is clean and tidy. The location is very good. It's right next to the panda base and very close to the Grand Canyon. It's a 5-minute walk. The conditions are like ordinary B&Bs, but the price is still affordable. The key is that it's very clean and in the mountains. It’s okay! The proprietress said that they have more than 20 years of experience in cooking Chinese food. The price is affordable and the taste is great! The boss couple were very enthusiastic and took us to the zoo. The small courtyard at the entrance was very beautiful with flowers and plants. I liked it very much. All in all, it was a very pleasant trip. I will stay with them next time.

Health: Very clean B&B! This is really important, and the shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom are very fragrant and easy to use. I really like it. Environment: The B&B is a small courtyard with a warm and beautiful setting! The room is a bit small, with four suitcases spread out and there isn't much room to stay, but it's acceptable! The mattress is also very soft and comfortable, and it is very quiet to sleep at night. Falling asleep with the chirping of insects is really not a good experience! Service: Ten stars! ! The landlady is really beautiful and kind. She brought us breakfast and helped us contact the chartered bus driver. We checked out a little late and didn't rush us. Overall, I highly recommend staying here if you want to go to Kangding the next day! Apart from being a little biased, there really aren’t any shortcomings hahaha

We had a wonderful stay at this charming homestay, nestled in the fields with stunning views of the tea plantations. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great time, even driving us to Shangli Old Town or the bus stop and helping us with bus directions. But it’s also not far from Shangli old town, around 20 min walking. Although it was a bit too cold in early April to fully enjoy the terrace, it’s clear that in warmer weather, it would be a perfect spot to relax. Our room offered a beautiful view of the tea fields, and every morning we enjoyed a delicious, home-made traditional breakfast. We’d definitely recommend it and look forward to returning!
