NNH1999STAFF APPRECIATION: Simply wonderful. I encountered many staff members during my stay, working in the hotel itself, the various cafes and restaurants, and on the beach. Every single one was professional and kind and so very warm. Several of the young people working there also spoke English, which was an unexpected pleasure and convenience for which I was grateful. However, I owe a special thanks to the lovely little sisters at the front desk, Catie and Xiao Kue. Especially Catie. This sweet young woman took exceptional care of me during my stay, seeing to every need, answering every question (in English, no less), and patiently guiding my drivers to the location when I arrived or chose to go out and explore. I am getting older now and often require clear instructions and visual aids. 😅 She kindly offered both. 非常感谢。🙏
HOTEL REVIEW: There are multiple warnings given before and during the stay about ongoing construction next door, but it had minimal impact on my stay and, if you're out exploring and playing, you won't even notice it by the time you return in the evening. As promised, it started at breakfast time and concluded by 6pm in the evening around dinner time every day.
I choose this hotel deliberately because, while a little more expensive than its competitors and a bit off the beaten path, it seemed to offer more convenience and privacy. I was so relieved to see that this was true. Their beach is small, but well-maintained and private, which meant no crowd and plenty of opportunity to take people-free pictures and simply sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea. There was also no shortage of dining options on the resort itself as well as nearby. Several fun, beautiful places to visit are also located a short drive away. However, if you're looking for a retreat, a place to simply rest and be close to nature, away from crowds, this place offers that as well. It was a welcome respite. I saw couple, families with children, and even a few other foreign guests all enjoying their time here. 🏖
Because I was on a budget this time, I chose the lowest priced room and was prepared to sacrifice my view of the sea. Unexpectedly, I didn't have to. This was a very happy surprise. ☺️ Though, I'll definitely try and splurge on a room on a higher floor next time as being near the entrance could sometimes be a little loud when guests arrived. Overall, I am completely satisfied with my time here and hope to return someday.
TLDR; Wonderful, attentive staff; private, convenient location; stunning views; and several dining options all offer a very pleasant, worry-free getaway during peak season. Well worth the price and the journey. Every kind of traveler will find something to enjoy here.

This hotel booking was a hit with my family, everyone was really pleased. Among all the resorts in Dameisha, this one definitely offers great value for money.
**Facilities**: Well-equipped, even a Dyson hairdryer, though the toiletries weren't Jo Malone.
**Cleanliness**: The hotel's decor is unique and quite new, and the cleanliness is well-maintained.
**Ambiance**: Strictly speaking, I don't think this hotel compares to traditional five-star luxury hotels. However, the overall experience was still very good.
**Service**: The service response time was quick. Most of the staff are young, efficient and straightforward.
**First round minibar**: Two cans of soda were provided in the minibar, and they were refilled as soon as we drank them.
**Two tickets to either the Wishing Tower or Deep Sea Fantasy (choose one)**: Since I stayed for a longer period, I received both types of tickets. Kids will absolutely love Dameisha's Wishing Tower and Deep Sea Fantasy.
Personally, I think the rooms are a bit small for a five-star standard in terms of hardware. Also, there's room for improvement with the breakfast.

Guest UserThe wind at Shanya is really strong, but personally, I really dislike the trend of using obscure characters for trendy spots. However, I couldn't resist my family's repeated requests and enthusiastic invitations, so I reluctantly came despite the not-so-great weather 🤫.
The road was very bumpy, with eighteen twists and turns before we finally reached our destination. At the gate, a security guard first checked our reservation information, which was quite strict.
Let's skip the essay and get to the summary 🫨. There are beautiful fireworks at night. The Western restaurant isn't expensive and the food is decent. The free breakfast is also good, and the orange juice is freshly squeezed 🍊. The service attitude is excellent and responses are timely. The room also includes complimentary drinks and snacks.
The park isn't very big and is suitable for families. The swimming pool was filled with parents and their children 👨👩👦. I feel like couples and friends don't need to go to this kind of place; it's not very cost-effective (I wouldn't pay for it myself 🙅🏻♀️). Ultimately, it's just a homestay.

Walk n See
Future Hotel Shenzhen Review (December 2025)
Overall Rating: 3.5/5 stars
Decent budget option for a short stay in Shenzhen, but falls short of expectations, especially if you’re hoping for a truly “new” hotel experience.
Location: 4/5
The hotel is conveniently located right next to a pleasant park, perfect for a quick walk or some fresh air. It’s also just a 5-minute stroll to the nearest subway station, making it easy to get around Shenzhen without needing taxis everywhere. Great for travelers relying on public transport.
First Impressions and Facilities: 2/5
Advertised as a newly opened hotel, but by late 2025, it didn’t feel fresh or modern at all. The lobby is unusually located on the 7th floor, accessed via an elevator that’s just beside a larger neighboring hotel. The lift area felt dim and outdated compared to the brighter, more upscale vibe of the bigger property nearby. The lobby itself is compact, dimly lit, and lacks any welcoming or luxurious atmosphere—more functional than inviting.
Room: 4/5
The room size was surprisingly generous for the price point in Shenzhen, where space often comes at a premium. It was very clean overall, with a large, comfortable bed topped with four plush pillows, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The big flat-screen TV was a nice touch, and the bathroom was decently sized with a good shower and separate toilet area. No complaints on comfort here.
Service and Issues: 3/5
The major downside was a frustrating check-in experience. Using the hotel’s systems, the receptionist assigned me to a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet, it still reeked strongly of cigarette smoke and clearly wasn’t ready. I had to trek back down to the lobby (7th floor elevator and all) to get a new key and room assignment. This kind of mix-up feels avoidable and soured the arrival.
Final Thoughts
Nothing particularly stands out or excels at Future Hotel Shenzhen—it’s serviceable and clean in the rooms, with a solid location and value for money, but the dark, dated common areas, misleading “newly opened” vibe, and the room assignment error make it underwhelming. I wouldn’t skip Shenzhen altogether, but I’d definitely choose a different hotel next time I’m in the city. Suitable if you’re on a tight budget and prioritize location over polish.

ShiwodeyueliangSeriously unearthed a hidden gem! The environment is incredibly healing; opening the window reveals stunning views of green mountains and trees. The air is fresh, it's wonderfully quiet, and it's so relaxing to be away from the city hustle. The room was clean and tidy, decorated warmly and elegantly, and the bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The host was very warm, easygoing, and provided thoughtful, meticulous service with great attention to detail. The surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking, perfect for photos. Dining and staying here were both very pleasant, and it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely come back for my next vacation and highly recommend it to everyone!

Five-star rating, absolutely fantastic! The sea-view room I booked was even better than the pictures. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unobstructed panoramic view of the entire ocean. I could lie in bed and gaze at the blue sea and sky, wake up to the sound of waves and the sunrise in the morning, and watch the sunset over the sea from the balcony in the evening. The ambiance was absolutely perfect.
The room's cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the disposable amenities were provided. The appliances were all new and worked great. The owner and housekeeper were warm and attentive, making the check-in and check-out process smooth. They were super quick to respond to any questions I had. It's a short walk to the beach, making it very convenient for getting around. Plus, it's incredibly photogenic! My beach vacation experience was absolutely top-notch. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sea-view getaway!

MarinaVKFriendly staff, clean new rooms
The staff here are very friendly and answered all my numerous questions patiently, including detailed directions on how to get to the observatory. I also bought my beach ticket directly at the hotel – they offered a small discount, which was a nice bonus.
The hotel is completely new. The bed linen is spotless, and the bathroom is excellent with modern fixtures. Everything worked well and felt fresh.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended! near I found a nice European cafe, about 5 minutes walking Mike'sKitchen&Bar

This was a perfect hotel for us to land after a long international flight with young kids; huge hotel and compound which likely had its prime when it was first built 20 years ago; it needs a lot of maintenance and upkeep but the standout of it was its nature park access which is a must with young kids; so beautiful and lots of fun. It would be so nice if it became more popular again so they can restore the place to its former glory. Workers were really warm and friendly; breakfast was a nice touch.

Guest UserIt was okay. It's close to Sea World, which makes getting around easy.
Late-night congee: They offer it, but I didn't try it.
Cleanliness: It was decent.
Service: They upgraded me to an Executive King Room. The Deluxe room I originally booked felt smaller than a standard room.

This hotel, designed in a classic Hakka architectural style, is perfectly situated in the heart of the ancient town, near Phoenix Valley. It offers a tranquil escape while still being incredibly convenient. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite, which was very spacious and featured a huge balcony overlooking the charming town. The room also came with a private large hot spring bath and a steam room – truly a treat after exploring the town. Soaking in the hot springs and enjoying a sauna after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. The hotel service was also top-notch, very warm and welcoming. They even gave us a thoughtful souvenir upon check-out.
