"Aged but clean and spacious room. Location is excellent, walking distance to mrt ,train stations and shopping malls. 7 eleven just next to it. Front counter service is recommendable. Cleaner returned cash note left on lobby. On the other hand, rooms are not sound proof, banging of doors along the corridor and pulling of chairs upstairs are very disturbing at night."

"The hotel is great, its a new hotel and I can feel it. The staffs are friendly and helpful, the location is convenient which close to Phra Ram 9 station. With a big shopping mall - Rama 9 Central, also have the Lotus Supermarket in the walkable distance. 7-11 is juat opposite to the hotel with less than 1 min walking distance, I will definitely back again."

"The room I stayed in this time was quite quiet, not as noisy as the old one. Thank you for changing the room to be more suitable for me, very satisfied, I stayed here two years ago and still liked it when I came back, the beef noodle soup restaurant next door is also delicious. Coffee at the shop is also great. High recommend."

We are a family of 9 with 4 group coming in at seperate day and timing and although they mention subj to avaliablity the counter staff was so nice to make an effort to help us arrange all the 5 room on the same floor. "The service at this hotel was absolutely amazing. From check-in to check-out, my entire experience was excellent！ I am a very light sleeper and cannot tolerate any noise at all, as I wake up easily. After checking in, I requested a quieter room, and the hotel immediately arranged a room change for me without any hesitation. I truly appreciated how efficient and understanding they were. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless. Housekeeping came every day to clean the room. I left my valuables in the room, and the staff carefully organized them for me without touching anything unnecessarily, which made me feel very safe and respected. There is a 7-Eleven right downstairs, and shopping malls nearby. The location is excellent — right in the city center and very convenient to get anywhere. I came to Bangkok to celebrate my birthday, and I was completely surprised when the hotel prepared a birthday cake for me on my special day. I truly did not expect that at all. A big thank you to the two staff members who personally delivered the cake to my room it meant so much to me.🥰🙏🏻 I also had packages delivered to the hotel, and the staff helped receive them properly, requiring signatures and making sure they were not taken by anyone else. They were very responsible and professional. Additionally, when I accidentally left some purchased items in the room after checking out, I contacted the hotel and they handled the lost and found process very well. I travel to Bangkok often and have stayed in many hotels, but this hotel truly stands out because of how thoughtful they are in every detail. I absolutely loved my stay here. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends, and I would like to sincerely thank all the staff who took such great care of me. You are all amazing, and you made me fall in love with this hotel. 💛"

"Pleasantly surprised by the newly renovated rooms. The whole hotel has been refreshed and the room felt modern, clean and comfortable. The room and lobby layout are stylish and very Instagrammable, giving the place a trendy vibe. The bathtub was also very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I really hope the hotel continues to maintain this good standard as the new room condition is definitely a highlight. Location-wise, it’s about 5 minutes’ walk to 7-11 and around 10 minutes to MRT Huai Kwang, which still makes getting around quite convenient. The hotel is also slightly cheaper than many others in town, probably because it’s not right in the busiest area — but it definitely offers great value for the quality. Breakfast was decent with a reasonable selection to start the morning. Overall, a pleasant stay with the service, modern rooms, and excellent value. Would consider returning again."

"Good service, newly hotel, full facilities. I arrived at hotel before checked in time (1pm) . Staff help me to upgrade room to executive room. It’s quite big duplex with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. View at 35th floor is amazing. However, location is far away from transportation like bts and mrt. You need to have well plan of travelling."

The location is ideal — right by the Airport Rail Link and close enough to reach the main areas easily without being stuck in the chaos of central Bangkok. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out, always greeting me with a smile. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, with great city views and a quiet atmosphere for a good night’s rest. Breakfast was excellent too, with a wide range of Thai and international options, all fresh and well presented. The pool area and fitness center were clean and relaxing — a perfect way to unwind after exploring the city. Overall, the Mercure Makkasan offers great value, comfort, and service — I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok"
