It was okay. The location was great, but the hotel itself was just average. However, the area right outside the hotel was fantastic for a stroll, which definitely made up for it. We even went to the mall across the street for dinner; it was really affordable and clean.

I found this Best Western to uphold the brand's usual high standards, making my entire stay very comfortable. Everything, from the staff's service, the internal facilities, and the view from my window, to the many thoughtful small touches, left me thoroughly satisfied. My only slight disappointment was that the Best Westerns I've stayed at in Europe often provide sparkling water, but this time there were only two bottles of still water in the minibar, with no other options available. It's worth noting that the hotel also has a rooftop pool. When I went, there were many foreigners swimming and relaxing on the chairs. It offers ample facilities and is a very comfortable option, especially in the late afternoon, during dusk, or when the sun isn't too strong. The chilled drinks sold by the pool were also reasonably priced. It's a bit of a shame that despite the excellent view, I couldn't see any iconic Bangkok landmarks from the rooftop. Additionally, I had an infected wound, so I couldn't enjoy all the facilities.

I had a pleasant stay at Pinnacle Lumpini Park Hotel in Bangkok. The location is very convenient, close to Lumpini Park, public transportation, and plenty of nearby restaurants and convenience stores. It’s a great spot if you want easy access to the city while still having a quiet place to rest. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a short stay. Housekeeping did a good job, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and relaxing. The staff were polite, helpful, and accommodating throughout my stay, which made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. This was my second stay, and once again, the room was spacious enough and came with a bathtub, fridge, and a balcony. There's a 7-Eleven, restaurants, and fruit stalls all within a three-minute walk. It was really quiet at night, and getting a taxi was super easy – they'd pick us up almost instantly. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Bangkok.

The room was spacious, feeling like a private courtyard at home. It was very clean. During my stay, I felt unwell after drinking iced coffee on an empty stomach in the morning. I asked the landlady for hot water, and she kindly let us rest for a few extra hours before checking out, free of charge. The location is great; you can just pinpoint the 7-Eleven right at the entrance for taxis. Big thumbs up to the owner!

Had a great 5D4N stay with family at this hotel. They were able to accommodate to my request of arranging a room that is closer to the lift area for my elderly parents. We stayed at the executive room which was spacious and comfortable for 3. Bed is comfy and the mini kitchen has all the cutleries and fridge to keep our drinks and food chilled. The coffee machine was good. Toilet and towels were clean. Although they often forgot to replenish the amenities in quantity of 3, the housekeeping was fast in delivering the items upon request. The hotel is also located very near to the queen sirikit MRT station exit 1, making it very convenient to travel around. There's also a 7 eleven convenient store within walking distance. The only downside i had was during check in as there was a miscommunication with the hotel reception and housekeeping. We had to wait for about 30-40mins for our room when check in was supposed to be at 3pm. But the hotel reception was kind and tried to give us the room asap. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again if there's a good deal.

The room was quite spacious, and the staff were very welcoming. It's a bit far from BTS Nana station, but the hotel has its own tuk-tuk service for scheduled pickups and drop-offs. You'll need to call to arrange it, and the front desk doesn't speak Chinese, but you can communicate in English. Definitely avoid staying in Building 2 – it's incredibly noisy. Even though Bangkok as a city is generally loud with motorcycles and tuk-tuks, Building 2 was particularly boisterous. The hotel provides earplugs, but they weren't very effective. The air conditioning unit is installed right on the balcony, so its noise was also quite disruptive, and the mini-fridge in the room was loud too. Overall, it was a bit overwhelming. However, the service staff were excellent; they even folded our towels into elephant shapes. The room had a small balcony, and while smoking isn't allowed indoors, it is permitted on the balcony. The price for this hotel soared during the Chinese New Year; it's definitely not worth that much. I'd recommend it for the off-season, but for peak season, you might want to consider other options, preferably a quieter hotel.

Overall, it's a good place. It's a converted residential building, so you get that local neighborhood vibe right outside. I was on the second floor, just a short walk up one flight of stairs. It would be even better if the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area.

I can’t wait for the nearest MRT to open near the area. will definitely go back and stay at this hotel. Plus the hotel staffs are very friendly and hospitable. :)

The bed I was assigned to had a broken towel rack and ants around the bed and the staff immediately agreed to switch beds for me. While there were fewer ants at the new bed, there was a baby cockroach running around the locker portion of the bed. It was late and my last night when I saw the cockroach so I didn't bother asking for a change but I do think better pest control could be something the hostel should look into.

GGuest UserI was quite anxious when I arrived, as many reviews mentioned the hotel being old and dated. However, after staying for three days, I have to commend this hotel! 1. The lobby is opulent, and 'rich and varied' doesn't even begin to describe the spread at breakfast. 2. The service is exceptional; they are basically ready to help with anything you need. There's always someone to open the door when you enter the lobby, and the front desk and room service are fantastic! When I checked out, they helped me book a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than both Grab and Trip.com, costing only 500 Thai Baht (to Don Mueang Airport). 3. The gym is huge, easily over 400 square meters, with all sorts of equipment and dedicated staff. I didn't get to use the pool, but there were lots of kids enjoying it. 4. The hotel's location is convenient, right next to an MRT station. Although it's about 6-7km from the main tourist attractions, for this price, service, and facilities, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Book with confidence! In the evenings, there's a night market nearby, mostly frequented by locals, offering great value for money. If you turn right outside, there's a 'Chinatown' street with all kinds of delicious food.

KKantabuliyazhangchangzongI was quite hesitant about this hotel after reading the reviews, but after staying there, I can say its location is excellent, right by the river. The biggest selling point is definitely the riverside access, especially the free shuttle boat. This shuttle can take you to S-pier, which connects to all the major blue and orange line attractions. Taking the metro isn't the most convenient option, but you can also get to S-pier and transfer there. From my window, I could see the Ferris wheel, and there's a night market right downstairs. However, the shuttle service ends at 9 PM, which is a big drawback, as it's about a 5-minute walk from there. Also, if you're close to the river at night, you might hear the rumble of boats in the middle of the night. While the hotel facilities are a bit old, they're not dirty. I loved the bed – it was incredibly soft and comfortable; I honestly didn't want to get up! The beds are huge. Even though they're single beds, two pushed together are bigger than beds in China, easily sleeping three people. I skipped the hotel breakfast as I'd already spent a lot of money these past few days. In the afternoon, there's hot coffee in the lobby, which is a nice touch (though it's the only one). They also have iced water, chrysanthemum tea, and roselle tea, plus some biscuits. In the mornings, there are croissants and hot coffee that you can take with you. It's like a simple meal, and it's not bad at all. One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese, so communication wasn't an issue. The hotel requires a deposit, as it's a major international brand. The bottled water in the room is complimentary and NSF certified, so feel free to drink up. The razor provided was quite good, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. From 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, there's a singer performing in the lobby, which you can discreetly listen to. There's also legitimate massage available outside. If you get hungry at night, there's a 7-Eleven and some street food stalls about 50 to 100 meters away. I wouldn't say the food is amazing or terrible, but you can try the oyster omelet. As for the swimming pool, it's actually quite nice, being on the first floor and very spacious. If your main goal is to explore along the river, this hotel is perfect. However, if you're looking to frequent places like Nana, this location might not be ideal.

GGuest UserI spent 17 nights at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with my choice for a remote work and vacation stay. The room has a spacious desk where I could work comfortably, and the internet speed was consistently fast. The bed was also very comfortable. I had no trouble falling asleep at all. I’d say it’s on par with the bed at Parkroyal Collection Pickering in Singapore. The room was clean and a decent size, and the shower had strong water pressure. Locationwise, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS or Lumphini MRT. While it may not be very close to public transport for some, one of the best things about the location is that it’s surrounded by many great restaurants to suit different budgets. In fact, the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had is just a five-minute walk from the hotel.Special thanks to Mr. Kelly from the reception team for providing exceptional service and helping me with any issues during my stay.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better. Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

AAnasdanWe stayed at this hotel for two nights. Cons The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation. The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are. A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened. There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only. The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened. The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone. The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove. Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling. Pros The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person. Clean bed linen. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure. The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed. The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly. The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls. The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Overall Suitable for a short stay of one night. The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos. The location and staff are the hotel’s strongest points. ——— Останавливались в этом отеле на две ночи. Минусы Номера сильно устаревшие. Мебель, стены, углы и ванная с потёртостями и сколами, требуется обновление и ремонт. Фотографии на сайте не соответствуют текущему состоянию номеров: выглядят новыми, тогда как по факту номера давно не обновлялись. В номере была заявлена плита, но фактически она отсутствовала — была закрыта и зафиксирована деревянной панелью, воспользоваться ею невозможно. В номере нет чая и кофе, несмотря на то, что на фотографиях присутствует кофемашина. Чай можно взять на ресепшене в дневное время. Кондиционер шумный, работает без переносного пульта, управление осуществляется с настенного блока с ограниченным количеством режимов. Даже на минимальном режиме шум заметный. В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери. Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно. Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты. Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку. Плюсы Удобная кровать, по две подушки на человека. Чистое постельное бельё. Ванная комната была чистой, хороший напор воды. В номере есть новый фен, холодильник, посуда и столовые приборы. Есть балкон, выходящий во двор, на котором можно курить. Вежливый и отзывчивый персонал: девушка на ресепшене хорошо говорит по-английски и подробно всё объясняет, горничные также оставили приятное впечатление. Предоставляется гольф-кар трансфер до ближайших торговых центров. Удобное расположение рядом с M-Sphere, Emporium и M-кварталом, что было основной причиной выбора отеля. Итог Подходит для краткой остановки на одну ночь. Основной минус — сильно устаревшие номера и несоответствие фотографиям. Расположение и персонал — сильные стороны отеля.

AAnonymous UserA good location for travellers looking for a quieter neighbourhood compared to the usual sukhumvit experience, but I wouldn’t stay here again. 1. Gets really inaccesible to convenience stores (they do sell limited options of snacks - at a surcharge of course) 2. Engaged their laundry services, almost couldn’t get it back and wanted to bill me an additional fee to get it back in time for me to checkout and catch my flight. Turns out one of my pants was damaged along the way but made no comments about it till I found out. Didn’t pursue this matter as I have to catch a flight, no time to look for resolutions. 3. Was back at the hotel one of the days slightly earlier at 4:30pm, to my dismay the room wasn’t cleaned, the crew only came by at 5:30pm and offered to clean the room but it wasn’t convenient for me (I was half asleep too). Subsequently took a mental note that I can’t be back at the hotel till at least 7pm if I need my room to be cleaned Your experience may vary, but certainly not one of the experience I was thinking I would received.

DDezhengjianxiuI stayed here ten years ago when I first visited Bangkok, and it's still great! The room is huge, and it's incredibly quiet at night. There's a bus stop right downstairs, and it's not too far from the Sala Daeng BTS station. The breakfast menu changed daily, which was a nice touch, and overall it was a very comfortable stay. My only minor complaint is that they didn't change the bedsheets during my 7-day stay. The hotel is right next to the Mahanakhon Pixel Tower, and the 20th floor offers a fantastic spot for photos.
