This area was nice to walk around and a lot quieter than Manila central but still easy to get in. You have to grab in which costs a few pounds. The room had plenty of space but no windows which was fine for us for one night. The bathroom was nice, the shower could do with a screen or at least a curtain as the water does go everywhere in the small space. The lady allowed us to check in early all though this was by mistake but was still a positive for us.

For Christmas and New Year 2025, Valero Grand Suites offered a very good holiday stay — comfortable and homey, with great staff service and a prime Makati location that made it easy to enjoy festive dining, shopping, and countdown celebrations nearby.

Very good location, friendly and professional staffs. Good service, the room is clean though the bathroom is a bit mouldy. Require proper cleaning or maintenance. Definitely coming back on this hotel.

The location is absolutely superb! I stayed here because I got an incredibly cheap rate with a special discount, but here are some things to note: 1) As of February 2026, the elevator is manually operated, so you'll need to call the front desk or the elevator attendant to use it. 2) Only bath towels are provided; there are no hand towels. 3) Only shampoo and soap are available; no other amenities like toothbrushes are provided. 4) Since this is a condominium, hotel guests check in at the reception counter opposite the main counter. On the positive side: 1) The room comes with a kitchen, including dishes, pots, and cooking utensils. Having a microwave in the room was very convenient. 2) The shower worked perfectly fine. 3) There are two 7-Eleven convenience stores nearby. 4) The area boasts numerous large supermarkets, an older but affordable and convenient department store, brand-name shops, museums, and many other commercial facilities. There's also plenty of natural environment with several parks, and a wide variety of restaurants. 5) Although it's an older building, I found it to be acceptably clean. Aside from the elevator, the experience was good.

The hotel is clean. There is a kitchenette. It is conveniently located near groceries and restaurants. It has spectacular view if Manila Bay. The swimming pool is very clean.

Our favorite repeat stay! Exceptional service and great for families This was our second time staying here (we first visited last December and loved it so much we extended our stay then!). We chose to book again because, compared to other hotels in this prime location, the rates are incredibly affordable and the value is unbeatable. What we loved: *Location & Food: Perfect location with many food options nearby, plus a great 2nd-floor restaurant. The breakfast buffet is totally worth it! Just a tip for parents: some dishes have a mild spicy kick that might be a bit much for kids, but there are always pancakes and cereals available. *Superb Service: This is where they really shine. Kudos to the entire team—from the parking attendants to reception and housekeeping. They make you feel truly welcome. *Cleanliness & Facilities: The rooms are spotless and very well-maintained. The pool is a good size and kid-friendly (4ft deep), and it wasn't too crowded during our visit. There is also a gym on-site. The Extra Mile: What made this stay truly special was the extra effort the staff put in. It was my wedding anniversary, and even though my husband couldn’t be with us, the team went above and beyond by creating a beautiful heart-shaped swan towel design and a lovely card. It was a wonderful surprise that me and my two kids truly enjoyed! A Suggestion for the Hotel: Since we are now frequent guests, we’d love to see a loyalty card or rewards program! A perk like a free night after a certain number of bookings would be the perfect way to reward repeat visitors like us. We’ve stayed for two nights so far and already can't wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and affordable stay!

Housekeeping did a great job. The room was always clean and organized.  I paid a little extra for early check-in, which was fine. The ambiance was beautiful and relaxing. Great stay overall.

Just like a budget hotel back home, everything was good. The surroundings are great, with a park, the Imperial City scenic area (not far), a museum, large shopping malls, restaurants, massage parlors, KTVs, and a bar street (about 2 km away). It's super convenient for leisure, shopping, and spending money! My room faced the street, and I woke up every morning to the roar of motorcycles. You might want to choose a room not facing the street.

The room was spotless, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast buffet/poo/playgroundl was a highlight of our trip. The location is very good and convenient, with many shops nearby, including 7-Eleven. There are also several halal restaurants within walking distance, which makes it easy to find food. Overall, it’s a strategic area and easy to access daily necessities. However, the traffic around this area can be very heavy, even when traveling to nearby places. Short distances can take quite a long time, especially during peak hours. In summary, this place is excellent for location and accessibility, but guests should be prepared for traffic congestion when going out.
