Our recent stay at Palm Suite was a pleasant and straightforward experience. The standout feature was definitely the front desk service—the staff were consistently friendly, efficient, and helpful throughout our check-in and stay, which always makes a trip nicer. The apartment itself was spacious and very comfortable for the price. It had everything we needed for a relaxing visit and felt like a good home base. The location is a major plus. Being close to a McDonald’s was unexpectedly handy for a quick, reliable breakfast or a late-night snack. The surrounding area in Tanjong Tokong has plenty of other dining and convenience options within easy reach. A small point to note is that the property does not have covered roof parking. While we found parking, it's something to be aware of if you're traveling with a car, especially during rainy weather. N no lift to 2nd floor In the bathroom, we noticed the jacuzzi jet function in the bathtub could use an upgrade, as it wasn't operating at full power. That said, the bath itself was perfectly fine for a relaxing soak, so it wasn't a big issue for us—just something the management might look into for future updates. Overall, I’m not complaining! Palm Suite delivers solid value: it's comfortable, well-located, and backed by great service. It’s an excellent choice for a practical, no-fuss stay in Penang. The location was excellent and the room was very spacious, which I appreciated. However, the room was a bit dusty, causing me to cough. I think it would have been much better if there were an air purifier or similar equipment available.

Good location with free parking. Staff are helpful. Suitable for family trip with reasonable price. Will book again.

Affordable and functional room, probably just a tad old. Felt more like a guesthouse/Airbnb than a hotel. But the service was great and the customer service was speedy. Love the size of the room and how close it is to the amenities and being in the heart of town.

The Only Bnb was a great choice for me! The room was spacious and clean. The full size kitchen was nice but it was within walking distance of so many restaurants I never got the chance to use it. It was on top of a 24 hr snack store which was perfect for grabbing water bottles anything I felt like it. Downtown was a quick and convent Grab car ride away and I liked being on the more quiet part of the island. From the very beginning, communication with the staff was clear and so, so helpful! If I ever get the chance to come back to Penang I would book here again.

The mattresses are a sunken-in, meaning it needs to be replaced with new ones. . Not good for the backbone. Furthermore it was noisy upstairs (above floor) even though it’s past 1.00am.

The location is good. Near the Feringhi, Komtar, Bukit Bendera. The most important is to taste the real nasi kandar. Rooms is ver clean with the perfect facilities provided ie. Washing machine and dryier, cooking facilities and the best is swimming pool is near to my room.

Nice environment and great location. The room are big and comfortable. Great place for friend and family gather and stay.

Overall good hotel with great location. Have stayed here for 2 times now.
