Ambience & Design
The hotel has a classic, old-world charm. Although the building shows its age, it has been very well maintained. The lobby looks elegant and gives off a premium atmosphere.
Service
One of the highlights of this hotel is the staff. Every employee I encountered was polite, friendly, and very helpful. Their hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable.
Facilities
The swimming pool is large and very clean. The gym is also decent for a hotel gym, although the weight selection is somewhat limited for those who prefer heavier training.
One small issue I noticed was that after it rained, I saw mushrooms growing along the corridor outside the rooms and there was a slight musty smell in certain areas. 😅
Room
I booked a sea-view room and the view was absolutely beautiful. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained. The only downside is the carpet, which makes the room feel a little dated. While everything appeared clean, the carpet looked worn and slightly stained.

Overall cleanliness was good and everything looked clean to the naked eye.
Breakfast
Breakfast was one of the better parts of the stay. There was a wide variety of choices, including Western, Indian, Malay, and Chinese dishes. However, if you arrive late, some popular items may already be gone. I missed out on the dim sum because it had run out by the time I arrived. 😅
Overall
The hotel is comfortable, well maintained, and located in a convenient area. Despite showing some signs of age, the excellent service and overall atmosphere made the stay enjoyable.
