The hotel is only a short walk from Piccadilly station giving in great access to the trains. Its recent renovation really gives the hotel a clean trendy feel. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything you would need. The king bed and the pull out were comfortable. The bathroom is surprisingly large with lots of room if you need it. Breakfast was simple, but top quality from the hot to the cold options. Great stay.

Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. I stayed at Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre for a business trip and it was exactly what I needed, simple, efficient, and reliable. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the station and close to everything, which makes it easy when your days are packed with meetings or travel plans. The room was clean and comfortable, nothing over the top but well thought out. The bed was good, the shower worked perfectly, and after long days that’s really what matters. Breakfast was solid and consistent, plenty of options to start the day right. I appreciated that the staff were friendly without overdoing it, helpful, professional, and present when needed.

We had a pleasant stay at The Townhouse Manchester. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing our experience. Overall, it offered good value for money.

No nonsense practical and clean standards hotel! Apart from sleeping on the platform, you couldn’t stay any closer to Manchester Piccadilly Station. The hotel has two entrances, one coming into the spacious and pleasant lobby and bar area, the other into the breakfast area. Ground floor is all open plan and has many amenities like an Uber taxi order stand. The rooms are designed in a compact useful space saving way. Coffee and tea are kept behind a cupboard that opens to a table. It’s the place to stay- when the train station is your priority.

Very satisfied with my stay. Good location, very close to train station. Tasty breakfast (however it tends to get crowded, it'd be better to have more tables). Clean room, towels were changed every day. There's a TV, hairdryer and a kettle with basic tea a coffee selection. Comfortable bed with multiple pillows to choose from. The only downside of this hotel was the shower as the water didn't drain.

It was amazinggggg, from the design of the hotel inside to the people. The hotel looks amazing, the staff are really nice and the staff at reception are really sweet and welcoming. At first I was skeptical with booking this place on trip but doing it was literally a blessing in disguise. I am not getting paid for this at all so trust me when I saw this. It was amazing and the breakfast was really good, the rooms are amazing and aesthetically pleasing to be in, the towels are great!!! It was worth it for the price I paid and room I got. The spa was amazing as well!
