The hotel is only a short walk from Piccadilly station giving in great access to the trains. Its recent renovation really gives the hotel a clean trendy feel. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything you would need. The king bed and the pull out were comfortable. The bathroom is surprisingly large with lots of room if you need it. Breakfast was simple, but top quality from the hot to the cold options. Great stay.

The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the station and close to everything, which makes it easy when your days are packed with meetings or travel plans. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. We had a pleasant stay at The Townhouse Manchester. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing our experience. Overall, it offered good value for money.

Hotel was fine, room clean. Reading reviews after booking was really worried but all was OK. Travelled with young child. Had time show ID and child ID too. Lovely idea to put heater and fan in room to make more comfortable. Not sure if they upgraded us or not as got a better room than booked. All in all excellent location and value for money

Amazing hotel! The man who greeted me at reception for check in was very nice and professional. Rooms were very clean with complementary still/sparkling water in the fridge. Kettle and Teabags were also available if needed. The room did only have 1 chair at the desk which was a bit annoying, however not a major critique. Shower was very nice, towels and hand soaps / shower gels were provided. However the bathroom door did not have a lock on it as it was a sliding door. It was fine for us since we went as a couple, but is something to take note of. All in all, Great stay!!

Nice hostel near the city center, check in was a bit longer than expected, but not critical. Train station with a route to the airport is in walk distance, so do many cozy pubs.
