Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, A Verified Net Zero Hotel

The hotel is well located for the city centre, there were no bottles of water in our room but we saw other rooms had water when I requested for it I was told the tap water was good enough to drink but there was no sign in the room stating this. I had to ask for bathrobes and slippers The bathroom showed signs of tiredness with some mould in areas Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful

The room is very good, everything is comfortable, but the only problem is that it was not very warm at night. and everything else is perfect.

Overall a decent hotel with a number of positives. The breakfast was decent and rooms clean and comfortable. Location not too far from the centre BUT - Tony the price we paid and then be told the pool and sauna etc incur an additional fee is not good. This was also not indicated on Trip.Com when we booked. Further, we were initially given a disabled room but as I am 6 ft 3 not really practical. They acknowledged their mistake but hassle we didn’t need. Relocated to a first floor room we noticed our, and several more rooms in that corridor, door did not close even we letting it go from fully open position. This is a real security issue and I emailed duty manager but received no reply. Be aware if you stay here to fully close and check your room door before leaving!

The room was clean and cosy and front-desk was friendly and responsive. We booked mainly to check out the pool, spa and gym as advertised by the hotel. So it was really disappointing when we found out that these facilities were closed on Xmas day and on other days operated at limited hours when we were there. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are operated by a separate company from the hotel. That meant operating hours of those facilities are not catered for hotel guests at all. And it also meant sharing the facilities with members of the gym. So if you’re thinking of staying here and using the gym or pool, just bear those things in mind. Breakfast selection was quite limited. Very bare selection of any salads or greens. Quite embarrassing as well to see that clean plates were not available several times when there were less than 20 covers at breakfast. I understand it was the holiday season and the hotel is understaffed. But I’m sure this is not the first Christmas or NYE the hotel has encountered.

We stayed here for one night for a gig at the ao arena. Very close. The room was perfect and very clean. Bed was huge. Shower was amazing. Loved the room. Very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic the next morning. Staff checked us in swiftly and answered all our questions. Really nice place

During my recent stay at this hotel, I found the overall experience to be enjoyable with top-quality fittings and furnishings. However, there were areas that required improvement. The hotel itself is pleasant, but enhancing the service and room cleaning would significantly improve the guest experience. A standard room was paid for but a disability-accessible room was provided. We requested to change it to a standard which was done immediately without any questions. No water bottles were provided in the room initially; they were only given on request and only two small bottles were provided. Additionally, the room cleaning service was unsatisfactory. Despite requesting it twice over 4 nights, the cleaner only changed the sheets once and neglected to take out the bins vacuum, replace towels or clean the bathroom. This was particularly disappointing given the length of my nearly week-long stay. The breakfast was beautifully presented with various options but unfortunately remained the same every day lacking any variation. Some areas were particularly poor. For instance, the scrambled eggs had a distinct smell and were overly watery. Adding tomatoes or simply varying the options every few days would have improved the experience. One concern we had was the cleaning team. Twice the cleaner used his universal card to enter our room without ensuring no one was present. My partner was in the shower and our young baby was asleep. We heard a knock but were unable to reach the door in time. Upon reaching it we realised he was already entering. This occurred twice and on the following day we decided to chain the door for privacy reasons. In other hotels we have stayed in, privacy is of the utmost concern for staff and they would never even risk opening someone’s locked door without making sure. A better system needs to be in place here.

Was an amazing experience from the get go. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend others to book here. The facilities are good. The room was amazing felt like I wasn't even in Manchester. I'll definitely come to stay there again. Customer service was amazing without a doubt.

The service was okay.had to change to room because the first one wasn’t clean.
