GGuest UserFacilities: The facilities felt a bit dated, and the room decor was old, but for the price in Hong Kong, I can't really complain. The room lighting wasn't very bright, quite dim, and the curtains couldn't open completely. There was no bottled water, only a kettle of water provided.
Hygiene: So-so. It felt like the bathtub had a fair amount of dust that hadn't been cleaned properly.
Environment: It's quite close to both Causeway Bay and Tin Hau MTR stations, less than a ten-minute walk. You don't need to cross a footbridge to get to Tin Hau station, but you do for Causeway Bay, though there's an escalator for easy access. The hotel location is excellent, with convenience stores, McDonald's, Don Don Donki, IKEA, MUJI, and local tea restaurants nearby. Eslite Bookstore and Ichiran Ramen are also just a 10-15 minute walk away. You can even see a corner of Victoria Harbour from the room.
Service: All the staff I encountered spoke Mandarin, and I didn't experience anyone intentionally avoiding it. However, the queueing rules for check-in on the first floor were a bit rigid. A deposit was required for check-in, which was a bit inconvenient as it only accepted Hong Kong dollar cash or credit card. For a two-night stay, toothpaste, toothbrushes, slippers, and drinking water were not replenished.
