"This stay was a truly pleasant surprise! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I could feel a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at the luggage storage were all very kind! The room was clean and tidy, beautifully decorated with a high-quality feel, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – it was so relaxing to lie in bed after a long day. The housekeeping ladies who cleaned the rooms every morning were all very kind and friendly. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with any request, making the entire check-in process smooth and pleasant. The hotel's attention to detail was also excellent, with complete facilities, providing an overall experience that was both comfortable and high-quality. What was supposed to be just an ordinary stay unexpectedly left me with such a great impression. I am extremely satisfied with this experience and have already listed it as my top choice for my next trip. This hotel is managed and operated with care and dedication – my first choice in Dalian!"

"Facilities: The hotel is a bit old, with a distinct vintage feel, but it's not run-down. Overall, it's pretty decent. However, for those who frequently stay in hotels, there might be a slight issue, as standard rooms don't have floor-to-ceiling windows. On the positive side, the bedding is quite new. Considering it opened in 2008, it's understandable. The executive lounge, though, offers an absolutely stunning view, overlooking the entire harbor. Hygiene: Most areas were very clean, and there were no odors or stains on the pillows, duvets, or mattresses. However, there was some white residue in the bathtub, which the hotel didn't clean thoroughly. Service: The service was very good, with quick response times. The check-in experience was also pleasant, with staff helping to carry luggage to the room, which was excellent! Environment: The environment is also good, and it's close to the subway station. Turn right out of the hotel, and you'll find Zhongshan Square, a nice spot to take friends or kids to see pigeons. Summary: If you don't mind its age, it's a good hotel. The hygiene is mostly fine, the facilities are functional, and the service is excellent. The breakfast is also quite distinctive, offering Dalian specialties like xiaolongbao, jianbing guozi, menzi, and sea cucumber rice. A few suggestions: the executive lounge's access control isn't very strict; they should have someone specifically guarding the entrance to prevent those without executive privileges from entering. Also, the curtains don't fully cover the windows, leaving gaps on both sides. And there should definitely be tissues on the bedside table, not just in the bathroom, as it's inconvenient. Side note: This hotel left a particularly deep impression on me because the room assigned to me upon check-in was a pleasant surprise. The hotel opened in 2008, and coincidentally, I was given room number 2008. It was a really great stay experience!"

"This stay far exceeded my expectations, so I'm definitely giving it a full five-star rating. The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. The lobby is elegant and clean, and the public areas are well-maintained. My room was meticulously cleaned, had no strange odors, and boasted great natural light and soundproofing. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were complete and worked perfectly. I especially want to commend Bonnie at the front desk. She handled both check-in and check-out efficiently and smoothly, always with a smile, demonstrating peak professionalism. When I asked about nearby attractions, breakfast times, and various other questions, she answered each one patiently and thoroughly, even proactively offering helpful travel tips. Her perfect balance of attentiveness and professionalism really helped melt away the fatigue of travel. With both excellent facilities and warm, attentive service, this will be my top choice for future trips. I highly recommend it to all travelers!"

"The Grand Hyatt Dalian boasts an excellent location, right next to Xinghai Square. The sea-view rooms offer expansive views, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Xinghai Bay and the cross-sea bridge. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bedding is superb. The staff provides warm and attentive service. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and the Grand Club Lounge has a beautiful ambiance. Parking is convenient for those driving, making it an ideal choice for family trips and a top pick for a vacation in Dalian."

"An established five-star hotel with an excellent and convenient location. Parking is available both above ground and underground; the underground can be a bit chaotic but still accessible. The lobby is on the eighth floor, smells wonderful, and feels bright and distinctive. Changing elevators is a minor inconvenience. The rooms are a bit dated and not very large, especially the bathroom where you have to shower in the tub – understandable given how difficult renovations can be. The windows don't open for ventilation, which isn't ideal. The swimming pool is decent, a 20-meter pool, so it's good for a workout. Breakfast is nice with a decent variety and many made-to-order options. Overall, the value for money is pretty good. If you don't have extremely high expectations for the bathroom, rooms, and facilities, it's still a good option, as it's one of Dalian's oldest five-star hotels and still retains its charm. I'd recommend staying here."
