"I always stay at this hotel whenever I visit. I really like its classic, vintage-inspired decor. It's about a 10-minute walk from Zhongshan MRT station and also very close to Yuanshan. Plus, there's a good business restaurant called Guishandao downstairs."

"I had an exceptional stay at Éclat Hotel Taipei. The room was immaculate and beautifully designed with high-end touches like a Dyson hair dryer and a Nespresso machine. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional, making the check-in process seamless. I also loved the location it’s in the heart of Da’an District, very close to the MRT and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and convenience stores. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Taipei!"

"Nice to stay. They surprised me because I was upgrading the room. The hotel is recommended for staying at Ximenting. The hotel is located in the middle of Ximening. Nice front desks. You leave the baggage check and go to explore the city then you can get them back. The hotel is good for resting softly bed and a pillow you can enjoy the nighttime time for sleeping. No noises to disturb you while you sleep."

"Other than the appeal of staying above Ningxia night market, this place has too many red flags and not recommended for first time travellers to Taipei. Location wise it is excellent. It is above Ningxia night market and about 8min walk to Zhongshan station which has an underground mall link to Taipei main station. Plenty to eat, walk and shop which is why we picked it. The room sound proofing is actually good depending on your room, as you will hear sounds from the lobby but that is few and far between. Service wise, this is a semi-automated hotel. Check in is done via a machine/24h phone call, while the clean up staff appears mid afternoon to do up the rooms. The lady that works there is very helpful and one of the few saving graces of this place. Room wise is where it is controversial. They deploy an ozone machine which deodorises the room but it is NOT ok to be breathing that in an enclosed space. They tout it as clean air but we believe it's an attempt to hide uncleaned areas. You can switch off the machine but the central Aircon brings it back in. Credit where it is due, the room is clean and we didn't have issues with it other than the ozone machine. Other complaints include WiFi is unusable, and a very odd room layout. The already small room has a metal pole beside the bed which renders the space unusable. We resorted to having our luggage in the bathroom. We understand that this place is optimising costs by having these automated systems and part time help. Frankly the ozone machine is not ok as it poses a health risk and this would have been a good stay."

"Cosy room. I liked the deep bath I’m quite tall and it’s not often that I can get my whole body under water. Sight was beautiful, location was top. It’s in a calm part of the city with a park just across the road which you can walk. Metro is next to the hotel which gives you easy access to most lines. You have a ton of food places nearby and bakeries."

"The hotel is very close to the train station and not far from the night market, making transportation convenient. There's a convenience store nearby. It's a quiet area yet bustling. The bathroom in the room is very spacious and even has a steam room. You can lay your luggage flat. The breakfast is excellent."

"This is my go-to place every time I visit. I must say, the front desk staff—especially the older lady, a younger female colleague, and the gentleman on the night shift—are incredibly friendly and provide excellent service. The location is convenient, and the rooms are spotless. It's truly a top choice for anyone planning an overnight stay in Taipei!"

"This used to be a motel, and the room was quite spacious, but I didn't feel entirely secure. The key card controls the electricity, and there's no physical key, so you can't lock the door when you leave. You have to tell the front desk (which is right at the entrance where you park) to open and close the garage door for your car. All hotels were fully booked during the May Day holiday, so I booked this one because it was rated four stars, but it really has nothing in common with a four-star hotel in any aspect… Families with children should definitely not book here. Also, pay special attention to the check-in time; some rooms surprisingly require check-in by 10 PM! Make sure to read that carefully."

This hotel features themed rooms – romantic and beautiful, with various styles like Chinese, American, French, and English decor. They are cozy and atmospheric. Rooms are typically rented by the hour, except for overnight guests checking in from 10 PM until noon the next day. A thoughtful touch is having breakfast sets delivered right to your room door. The beds are all extra-large, with just the right firmness, making for a great night's sleep. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. It was a really good experience, definitely worth recommending to everyone."

"I had a pleasant and relaxing stay at Chyuan Du Spring Resort. The room was comfortable and spacious, with good amenities and a cozy layout. I especially appreciated the private hot spring bath in the room, which allowed me to enjoy the experience in privacy. Housekeeping was efficient and the room was kept tidy throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to assist with any requests. The Doorman was very helpful and recommended places for us to visit. Their warm hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, Chyuan Du Spring Resort is a great choice for anyone looking for a relaxing hot spring getaway.
