Guest UserWe recently had the pleasure of staying at the Humble Boutique Hotel from March 30 to April 5, 2026, for our first sightseeing trip to Taipei. We would like to express our genuine gratitude for the hospitality we received during our six-day visit.
Commendable Service & Hospitality
The true highlight of our stay was the staff. From the concierge and housekeeping teams to the gym and restaurant staff, everyone worked diligently to ensure the hotel ran smoothly. We were particularly impressed by the teamâs English proficiency; communication was seamless, making us and the many international guests we encountered feel very much at home.
We would like to extend a special thank you to:
* Kaley, Tina, and Mary at the restaurant for their attentive service.
* Our dedicated housekeeper (the kind lady from Vietnam) who looked after our room on the 9th floor.
Excellent Facilities & Location
* Prime Accessibility: The hotelâs location in the central district is incredibly convenient. Being just steps away from the MRT station made our sightseeing effortless, and the 30-minute shuttle ride from the airport was very efficient.
COMPACT GYM: Itâs compact but contains most of the equipments I need including treadmill, stairclimbers, Multi- purpose gym stations and dumbbell.Â
WARM SWIMMING POOL: nice, long and warm - the water is kept at a temperature of 28 degree. Towel will be provided. Make sure to bring your own swimming hat if you prefer to swim.
* Accommodations: Our corner King Room on the 9th floor was spacious, impeccably clean, and provided a very cozy retreat after a long day of exploring.
* Wellness & Dining: We enjoyed the well-equipped, compact gym and the lovely heated pool, which was maintained at a comfortable 28°C. Furthermore, the semi-buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor was a daily highlight. Each of the five main course options was delicious and well-prepared.
Constructive Reflections
In the spirit of helpfulness, we noticed two small areas for potential improvement. First, the installation of a few coin-operated laundry machines would be a wonderful convenience for long-term travelers. Second, as the hotel is so centrally located, there is some audible road noise even on the higher floors; however, this is understandable given the prime location.
FINAL
We would rate our experience a 9.5/10. Had there been laundry facilities, it would have been a perfect 10. The Humble Boutique Hotel will undoubtedly be our first choice when we return to Taipei. Thank you for making our first visit so memorable.

Guest UserThe entire staff was very friendly and helpful, which I really appreciate. However, they seemed quite young overall and lacked a bit of experience, so various services often required a reminder or follow-up, which was a bit of a letdown. It's a pity. On the bright side, the room was spacious, very comfortable, and the cleanliness was also excellent.

Facilities: The hotel facilities are almost identical to those of WHG hotels in Japan. I particularly love the separated wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and the option to take a bath in a tub or use the Japanese-style sitting shower.
Hygiene: Very clean.
Environment: There's not much of a street view, but it's incredibly close to Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station, just a two to three-minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart directly opposite. For attractions, Huashan 1914 Creative Park is close by. The breakfast is exquisite, offering a variety of Japanese and ********* options, with fresh ingredients.
Service: The staff are very polite.

We recently stayed at the Dinosaur Kingdom Family Room and transferred to a Premier Twin Room the following day. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The staff were consistently kind, helpful, and accommodating, which we truly appreciated.
We especially enjoyed the family roomâit was thoughtfully designed and perfect for traveling with a young child. I had initially planned for a two-night stay in this room, but unfortunately, renovations were scheduled to begin the following day. This was a bit disappointing, as it made our time there feel quite short, especially with other activities already planned during our trip.
In comparison to other five-star hotels weâve stayed in, I did find the lack of flexibility with early check-in a bit surprising, particularly for the themed room. We had hoped to settle in earlier, and similarly, the following dayâs transfer to the Premier room was not available early as it was fully booked. While this was different from what Iâm used to, I do understand that this may be part of their standard protocol.
On a positive note, we loved the buffet, and the rooms were very comfortable. The complimentary drinks were a nice touch, and the playroom area was excellentâclearly designed with families in mind. It was also lovely to see the hotel organizing activities for children. During our stay, there was a special event (like a childrenâs appreciation day?), where me and my baby were able to participate in arts and crafts and even received small prizes, which made the experience extra memorable.
The swimming pool was decent, though not very large, and the water was quite cold, so we ended up enjoying the bathtub instead.
One area for improvement would be cleanliness. We noticed visible dust in the room, which was concerningâespecially since the room is designed for small children, and for someone like me who is diagnosed with allergies to multiple types of dust mites. I did raise this with Lara at the lobby, who kindly apologized and mentioned she would inform housekeeping. However, upon transferring rooms the next day, I still noticed dust in certain areas, which made me question the thoroughness of the cleaning.
Separately, I also observed that some toiletries (such as conditioner and lotion) were nearly empty upon arrival, suggesting they may not have been checked or replenished prior to our stay.
Despite these points, we genuinely had a pleasant experience overall and would consider returning. Iâm also excited and curious to see what the next theme for the family rooms will be after the renovations.

khtravelThe hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!

Had a fantastic stay! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The hotel's location near Taipei Main Station is super convenient, and it's really close to Eslite Bookstore and Zhongshan MRT Station. There are so many amenities right downstairs too, like a convenience store, KFC, breakfast shops, and bubble tea places â just perfect. Inside, the hotel was clean and bright. Highly recommend!

GODBLESSThe hotel's location is super convenient, not far from the MRT station. There are plenty of convenience stores, shops, and a night market nearby, making it easy to get around. The rooms are newly renovated, have lots of TV channels, and a bidet toilet. The large floor-to-ceiling windows are a nice touch, and the hotel's decor is quite upscale, offering great value for its price. However, prices do double during holidays. It's popular with international, Japanese, and Korean travelers, and clearly has a good reputation. Last time, I wanted to switch rooms due to the floor, and the hotel staff were very helpful. Overall, it's excellent.

Guest UserPros:
They clean the room, refill your water and change your towel every single day.
Breakfast hotpot was delicious.
Allowed to leave your luggage prior to check in.
Great Location, not too near the busy district but not too far either.
Cons:
Strict with check in time. We were given the key just a few minutes before 3 PM.
Was expecting the breakfast to change from time to time especially the way they cook the chicken, but no, it was the same for about a week we were there.
If you are not a couple, beware of the glass door bathroom.

Guest UserThis is a very convenient location with plenty of food and entertainment options nearby. The young men and women at the front desk were incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and attentive. They helped us plan our itinerary and transportation for our trip to Hualien Yilan, and also shared recommendations for delicious food and fun activities there. The room was also quite neat and clean, overall everything was excellent. Definitely recommend!
