"Lobby is located at level 7. If order grab must ask them send to level 7 which most of them doesn't want to 😂 Room is not super clean. I saw hair and dust at the sink when check in. Bedsheet got stain even I ask for housekeeping daily. Room is also dated already, is time to for some upgrading. I never opt for breakfast so not sure. Location is definitely the best since is opposite platinum mall. There is a new Big C opposite too but very small."

"The reception is exceptionally amazing, friendly and helpful, creating a cozy ambiance for the guests. The room I book is spacious and super clean. The gym here is well equipped with complete things you need like a commercial gym do you have visited. However, the attitude of the staff at the bar is the opposite. Different people will get different treatment , if you are white, maybe you get different and better treatment than our race as asian. Unlike those white guests, as white supremacy, you have got to walk to the counter and bag them to give you the menu , once to place the order you have got to pay upfront before the cooking or the preparation starts. If you ask, they will make face to you like you are not welcome. This is rude."

"The hotel is decent; it's more grand and classic than modern. Everything is clean. I booked a ”Luxury Room in the Main Tower” (with panoramic windows), but was checked into a different, lower-category room (smaller, small windows, a bit old-fashioned). I had to go back to reception, and they corrected the situation, eventually giving me the room I had booked. I paid 1500 Baht for early check-in (6 AM) – UnionPay cards work at the hotel. Overall, the hotel's location is excellent. The bedding and beds are perfect, cleaning is done daily, everything is very clean, and the room I got wasn't even worn out. The staff are very polite. The breakfast, however, is a bit meager for a 5-star hotel; Centara hotels usually offer more interesting options."

"My family of six stayed at Vela Be Bangkok Ratchathewi for three nights (3 rooms) last week, and we had an enjoyable experience overall. We have no regrets choosing this hotel. The location is very convenient, about 700m from Ratchathewi BTS Station. There are plenty of eateries, 7-Eleven outlets, and massage centres just outside the hotel, all within easy walking distance. The room was clean and of a decent size. Basic amenities were sufficient. However, it would have been more convenient to have a kettle in the room, instead of needing to go down to the lobby for hot water and using the microwave. During our stay, the hotel shuttle service was not operating for four days due to the driver being unwell, which was slightly inconvenient. The reception staff were pleasant, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. Would I return? Yes. I would also recommend this hotel to other travellers. It offers good value for money at approximately USD 43 per night, especially considering its location and cleanliness."

"the hotel is so dirty with ants and I changed rooms twice, and both times the rooms were teeming with ants and cockroaches. The 11th floor had a simpler and more modern decor, while the 17th floor was quite dilapidated. The hotel's only redeeming quality is its convenient location. It's accessible by both the airport rail link and the traditional national railway, with the Hua Lam Peak railway terminal just two baht away. The Namnueng Pier ferry on the Khlong Saeng Canal also provides access to Pratunam for eighteen baht. The hotel is located next to Ramkhamhaeng Road, with public buses providing access to Wat Yannawa, the Khun Kyi Commercial Centre, the World Trade Center, the Democracy Monument, the Victory Monument, and other landmarks. On the other hand, so noise if you stay at even number room, because this wing is face to the railway. The beafast is not changed, everydays the same."

For the second time, she provided outstanding service and did everything possible to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Her professionalism, warm personality, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests are truly remarkable. She consistently goes the extra mile and is a great example of excellent hospitality. I would also like to thank the security team at the hotel entrance. They were always welcoming, courteous, helpful, and attentive. Their friendly attitude created a positive impression every time I entered or left the hotel. "This was a truly memorable vacation! Checking in on the eighth floor was a breeze, and we were welcomed with a lovely welcome drink. The hotel's location is super convenient, just a short distance from Phetchaburi MRT station. For those without a private car, staying here is definitely worth it because the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service that you can call anytime. I really appreciate that the hotel provides this, it's a perfect solution for guests without their own transportation. It saves a lot of money compared to taking a motorbike taxi or Grab. Plus, all the staff are wonderful, from the housekeeping team to the managers. Everyone genuinely seems to love working in the service industry; they're all friendly, smiling, and offer great advice. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip!"

Essential Facilities Youyen Hostel in Bangkok offers a garden, terrace, and free WiFi. Guests can relax in the lounge or enjoy the games room. The property includes a minimarket, picnic area, and culture classes. Comfortable Accommodations Rooms feature air-conditioning, balconies with garden or city views, and private entrances. Additional amenities include a work desk, shared bathroom, and parquet floors. Convenient Location Located 3.7 mi from Don Mueang International Airport, the hostel is near attractions such as IMPACT Muang Thong Thani (6.2 mi) and Chatuchak Weekend Market (12 mi). Free on-site private parking is available. Guest Services The property provides a paid shuttle service, 24-hour front desk, and film nights. Guests appreciate the connectivity to the airport and the convenient location.

"I stayed at Youyen Hostel DMK recently. The room and bathroom were reasonably clean, which was good, and they also provided shampoo and shower gel. However, there were a few things that could definitely be improved. When I arrived in the afternoon, I had to wait around 30 minutes because nobody was at the reception. There were also other guests waiting at the same time. During my stay, I noticed the reception desk was often empty, so getting help usually meant waiting for someone to come back. The breakfast was quite basic, more like a light snack than a proper breakfast. Another issue was the air conditioning, which does not run all the time and only works during certain hours. The shower in my bathroom was also broken. Overall, the hostel is decent for a short stay near DMK airport, especially if you just need a budget-friendly place, but the service and facilities could be managed better."

Hotel near Suvarnabhumi Airport/Bang Na,Bang Phli
Only 15 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport and close to the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC Bangna), the hotel offers shuttle services to the airport and nearby shopping centers. Surrounded by popular shopping and lifestyle destinations such as MEGA Bangna (just across from the hotel), The Glass Bangna, Market Village, Design Village, and ATT U Park Bangna, it ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience for both leisure and business travelers.

"Clean and comfortable, but beware of the actual driving distance! I booked this hotel to get some rest for a few hours during a flight layover. The property itself was great—very clean, tidy, and exactly what I needed for a short stay. The front desk staff is polite and friendly. However, a word of warning to other travelers regarding the location: while it appears to be very close to the airport, the map distances are misleading. Trip.com shows it as 8.1 km away, but that is strictly a straight-line distance. When you actually route the drive on Google Maps, it is a 20 km journey. It's a perfectly good place to rest, but make sure you factor in the actual driving time and taxi fare if you are booking it purely for airport convenience."

Room condition: I stayed in a deluxe king-size room, and the space was quite comfortable. The bedding was neatly arranged, and the lighting created a pleasant atmosphere, making me feel relaxed when returning to the hotel at night. Pool: Sufficient for use, open from what seems to be 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, good for a quick swim and workout in the morning or evening. Gym: Equipped with basic strength training machines, treadmills, and exercise bikes. Service: Check-in at the front desk was smooth, and I received the classic DoubleTree welcome cookies upon arrival. Location: Excellent. In the evening, you can walk to CentralWorld, Siam Center, and Siam Square in about 20-30 minutes.

Best hotel I ever stayed in bangkok. High quality for the price, you can book closed eyes! Only if you want to walk around its not the best, but we dont cares when the swimming pool is so beautiful we just want to stay on the rooftop. There is a restaurant and the food is very nice, not much choices thought. Only bad point is that there is no massage or spa around (there is a massage street shop nearby but not sure its good...)

it was an AWESOME STAY but location is a little hard to find at first. overall place was clean and people were friendly! toilet was CLEAAAAN. there is also a communal hairdryer it works pretty well. at night there is a fish auction i think. therefore, walking to 711 at 3am is pretty safe. personally as there is more people there late at night i feel it is safer. it is located beside the fish market so if you're sensitive to smells it might not be suited for you. there is also an ATM nearby. The BTS and pier is also near the hostel therefore transportation is prettty solid. lots of common areas to do your work! rooms are pretty soundproof as well! i did NOT encounter much mosquitos surprisingly! i had a mosquito bite like 5 times throughout my stay. i did not wear insect repellent at all! able to put your own food in the common fridge. shoe locker is also provided! there is also a locker to put all your stuff. there is luggage space but it is in the common area and the door is easily accessible. please do buy a lock for your luggage bedding is GOOD, mattress is GOOD, pillow can get uncomfortable though, not much neck support. a really good seafood buffet located beside the hostel! overall, i would DEFINITELY COME BACK! loved my stay there. if you're not bothered by fish smells this is probably the place for you!

This hotel was the last stop on our trip to Thailand. Compared to The Nai Harn, it felt grander and more business-oriented, which was evident from the breakfast spread – definitely geared more towards business travelers. We stayed on the executive floor, though it wasn't an executive room itself... which I found a bit odd. The hotel's decor has a retro, old-fashioned vibe, making it feel less like a holiday retreat for me personally. However, these weren't major issues. The staff's service attitude was consistently excellent. The main pool was quite busy, possibly because two youth football teams were staying there, so there were lots of people playing and having fun. It was still a good experience overall.

The hotel service is excellent, with a complimentary shuttle boat to the Sathorn pier. If you want to go to ICONSIAM, it's only 12 baht, with round trips every hour, which is very convenient. There's a Ferris wheel night market nearby that's great for strolling around. The hotel provides tuk-tuks to take you to the night market anytime, allowing you to enjoy it as much as you like. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to get anywhere. They offer airport pick-up and drop-off services; booking these in advance yourself is much cheaper than booking a taxi online. The hotel staff are very welcoming, and I had a very comfortable stay. If it's your birthday, the hotel even provides a small complimentary birthday cake. Exploring the night market and taking a cruise on the Chao Phraya River at night was a wonderful travel experience.

Holiday Inn Bangkok: Perfect Solo Weekend Retreat Near Emsphere I recently spent a relaxed long weekend (just over two nights) solo at Holiday Inn Bangkok, right next to Emsphere mall. As an NRI zipping between Hong Kong and Bangkok for work, I needed a hassle-free spot with easy access to shopping, dining, and BTS— this nailed it. Location (5/5): Smack in Sukhumvit's heart, it's a 1-min walk to Emsphere's trendy shops, cinemas, and food scene. BTS Phrom Phong is 5 mins away, making airport runs and city jaunts effortless. No taxi drama in Bangkok traffic! Room & Comfort (4.5/5): My superior room was spotless, modern, and spacious for solo use— king bed was plush, blackout curtains ensured deep sleep despite city buzz. Huge bathroom with rain shower and amenities felt luxurious. Minor nitpick: AC was a tad noisy at night, but earplugs fixed it. Free Wi-Fi was speedy for my work calls. Service & Facilities (4/5): Staff were warm and efficient—check-in was instant, and they upgraded my view gratis. Gym and pool on the 8th floor offered stunning skyline vistas; poolside was quiet for solo unwinding. Breakfast buffet was solid (fresh Thai/Western options), but could use more variety for repeat stays. Value (4.5/5): At ~THB 4,500/night (booked via app), it's a steal for the location and IHG perks. Quiet for a city hotel, ideal for solo travelers avoiding party vibes. Overall: 4.5/5. Highly recommend for short business-leisure trips. Will return!

Addressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also

The hotel is located in the city center, but quite deep within an alley, though they do offer a shuttle service. The staff provided excellent service; everyone was friendly, smiling, and attentive. The room was clean, and the hotel itself is relatively new. The room layout was good, and it was fully equipped. Personally, I really liked it. There's also a cafe downstairs with good coffee. If I have the chance, I'll definitely stay here again. We checked in late, and the hotel upgraded our room. The room had a microwave, a coffee machine, and all the dishes and utensils you could need. One night wasn't enough; next time I'll stay for two nights. If you're hesitant, I highly recommend it; I personally think it's great.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Cons The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation. The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are. A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened. There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only. The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened. The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone. The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove. Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling. Pros The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person. Clean bed linen. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure. The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed. The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly. The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls. The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Overall Suitable for a short stay of one night. The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos. The location and staff are the hotel’s strongest points.

TGreat Location, Good Value, and a Nice Pool I recently stayed at Furama Silom Bangkok and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s biggest strengths are its excellent location, reasonable pricing, and rooftop pool with fantastic city views. The property is conveniently located in the Silom area, making it easy to access restaurants, street food, shopping, public transportation, and nightlife. For travelers looking for a central base in Bangkok without spending too much, it offers very good value for money. The rooftop pool was one of the highlights of my stay. It provides a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views of the Bangkok skyline, especially during sunset. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering good value for the price paid. The staff were generally polite and helpful when needed, although the service was fairly standard rather than exceptional. Check-in and daily interactions were smooth, but there was nothing particularly memorable about the service experience. That said, the hotel would benefit from some renovations and maintenance updates. Certain areas of the property appear dated, and some room facilities could be improved to meet modern expectations. While everything was functional, refreshing the interiors would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. Overall, Furama Silom remains a solid choice for travelers seeking a well-located hotel with good facilities at a fair price. With some improvements and modernization, it could be an even better place to stay in Bangkok.
