"A Very Pleasant Stay at NASA Bangkok Hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a really pleasant stay at NASA Bangkok Hotel, and overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt that the hotel offered very good value for money, especially considering its convenient location and easy access to public transportation. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is definitely the location. It is very close to the Airport Rail Link, which makes traveling to and from Suvarnabhumi Airport extremely convenient. It was also easy for me to travel around Bangkok without having to spend too much money on taxis. The location is especially useful for travelers who want to explore different parts of Bangkok while staying somewhere affordable. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for my stay. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the room had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I also appreciated having complimentary drinking water and the basic facilities provided in the room. For the price I paid, I think the room was definitely worth it. The hotel staff were another positive part of my experience. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, polite, and helpful. Whenever I had a question or needed assistance, the staff were willing to help. Good service can make a big difference when traveling, and I was happy with the service I received during my stay. I also really liked how convenient the area around the hotel was. There are restaurants, convenience stores, transportation options, and other useful places nearby, so I never felt like I was far away from everything I needed. Of course, this is not a luxury five-star hotel, so if someone is looking for a very modern or high-end hotel with luxury facilities, this may not be the perfect choice. However, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, affordable place to stay in Bangkok with a very convenient location, I would definitely recommend NASA Bangkok Hotel. For me, the best things about this hotel were the location, transportation convenience, friendly staff, comfortable room, and reasonable price. It is a great choice for budget-conscious travelers, solo travelers, couples, and anyone who wants to spend more time exploring Bangkok rather than spending a lot of money on accommodation. Overall, I had a good experience staying at NASA Bangkok Hotel and would happily consider staying here again on my next trip to Bangkok. Highly recommended for the price and location! ❤️🇹🇭"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location in the Pratunam area, close to CentralWorld, Big C, and the Erawan Shrine. It's about a 15-minute walk to catch the BTS or Airport Rail Link, making transportation very convenient. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the hotel staff provide excellent service. I stayed in a different building, so I had to take an elevator to the 11th floor and then transfer to another elevator to reach my room. During peak hours, there could be a wait."

"I had previously visited this hotel on an excursion from Pattaya. Now, traveling with my daughter to Koh Samet via Bangkok, we didn't hesitate to book this hotel again. I wanted to show my daughter the revolving observation deck on the 84th floor, the museum, and the large, diverse dinner buffet. We stayed on the 28th floor. The staff was welcoming, and the hotel's floor layout is well-planned. The reception is on the 18th floor. We were greeted immediately upon arrival, our luggage was taken care of, and we were escorted to reception. We were checked in a bit early, at 1 PM, and led to our room. The door opened and… I was surprised. The exterior impression didn't match the interior. The room was spacious, but had low ceilings, old and worn-out furniture. It was a corner room and very dark, with only one small, narrow window (very dirty) and unwashed curtains, overlooking a neighboring hotel wall. You could barely catch a glimpse of the city (we had booked a non-corner room with a city view). The large room had only two small lights, perhaps to hide the room's surprises. The entire room had carpet (which also seemed ancient). The bed linen and towels were clean but visibly old and worn from countless washes; the duvet cover even had pilling, and the towels were far from white – they really should have been replaced. The carpet also extended throughout the hotel corridors, which I believe contributed to the musty smell in both the room and corridors, a smell even the air fresheners (sprayers located everywhere – in corridors and lifts) couldn't mask. During housekeeping, the maid constantly turned on the air conditioning in our room. Initially, we didn't understand why. We went to reception to return a misplaced card (thinking the maid had left it during cleaning), and they told us to leave it on so the air conditioner would run. Then the picture became clear: if you turned off the air conditioning, an unpleasant smell filled the room, and even the sewage smell from the toilet carried through the ventilation. Strangely, there's no ventilation in the toilet, so we had to leave the door open when we left the room and keep the air conditioning on 16°C. This hotel is in dire need of renovation! The room's price doesn't reflect its condition. The hotel has a sports area with mini-golf and a small swimming pool (also from the same outdated facilities). There's also a floor with a spa and fitness center. On the 18th floor, there's a small shop and a few cafes. The food at the hotel, both breakfast and dinner, was excellent. You can dine on the balcony (with glass railings) on the 81st floor – the view is superb. This is the only thing that makes up for the hotel's aging facilities. There's a free transfer to the airport metro line – which is great! I recommend staying on the upper floors for a magnificent view! I only recommend this hotel for short stays."

"Our family booked four deluxe rooms for a six-night stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the hotel's front desk, lobby, and restaurant staff were all friendly and approachable. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the Pratunam area with numerous shopping malls, Michelin-starred dining nearby, and easy access to relaxation massages. Personally, I found the facilities to be comprehensive and perfect for a family trip, with the only minor issue being the slightly longer wait times for the elevators during peak hours."

Downstairs, there are plenty of massage parlors and small restaurants, and a 7-Eleven right across the street. It's about a 7-8 minute walk to the BTS station, and you can even see the Pixel Building from the room. The only downside is that the room facilities are a bit old, but I can live with that."

"Tucked in a one way only street so traveling was inconvenient - but it also meant that the roads were less busy and the noise from cars weren’t loud. Because soundproofing was rather poor, I was assigned a room in the top floor that could connect to the adjacent room. Partially because the guests were loud, partially because the soundproofing was just that bad. When I was in the corridor, I could make out the conversations of the other guests. I was also awoken at 6AM on my third day because it started raining really heavily. But noise cancelling headphones and some music did the trick. Room also had a certain scent — it might be due to the bad ventilation so I had the balcony slightly ajar when out and about. Also had some marks by the walls. But sheets and pillows were all clean. I can attest to this as I have both sensitive and nose. Overall the cleanliness was decent. Location wise, many 7-11s up and down the road as well as nearby hotels and hostels. A great cafe that opens at 9AM was about a 3 minute walk and I basically went there everyday for coffee/matcha. Also had local food open till late in the area. Amenities wise, they provide 2 pairs of toothbrush and toothpaste per day. 2 bottles of water. I think cotton buds and a shower cap. Didn’t provide hotel slippers so there’s that. I think the staff said to help yourself to the ice cream in the freezer by the door but it was late at night when I checked in."

"I could easily find a hotel with better value for money in Bangkok. Given the price of this hotel, the front desk staff were incredibly short-tempered. As new arrivals, we asked them a couple of times for directions because we weren't familiar with the area, and they immediately became impatient. A hotel's service should aim for the highest quality in both service and facilities, yet they completely overlooked this crucial aspect."

This time, I stayed at this hotel to attend the Monster Music Festival 2026 held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). The MTR station is about 50 meters from the front desk, and I could go directly to the festival venue at QSNCC via the underground walkway. I had merchandise I purchased in advance shipped to the hotel, and I was able to pick it up during check-in. Although there weren't any Japanese-speaking staff, I managed to communicate with a little English and a translation app. The doormen were consistently friendly. When I suddenly decided to go to Pattaya and asked if they could arrange a taxi for a few hours, they found one that was slightly cheaper than the going rate. The facilities are standard for a 4-star hotel, and breakfast is also average. I would definitely consider staying here again if there's another event at QSNCC. Going to 7-Eleven required using the nearby pedestrian bridge, which was a bit of a workout for my legs! (lol)

My overall experience at this hotel was excellent. The check-in process was quick and efficient, handled by friendly front desk staff who provided great service. The room was clean and comfortable with a well-designed layout. The bed was soft and provided a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was spotless and bright with a full set of amenities. The overall environment was very relaxing. All in-room facilities, including the air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and TV, worked perfectly, and I encountered no issues during my stay. The hotel's public facilities were also very well-maintained. Whether it was the restaurant, gym, or lounge areas, you could tell they put a lot of effort into their operations. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh food, catering to different guests' needs. Moreover, the hotel boasts a convenient location, close to transport links and commercial areas, making it ideal for sightseeing, shopping, or business trips. All in all, this stay left me with a wonderful impression. Not only was the accommodation comfortable, but the staff were also professional and enthusiastic, making for a very pleasant experience. If I have the chance to visit this area again in the future, I would definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to my friends and family.

We loved it here so much. The view from the pool is nice as well as from the gym. I wish we would have stayed longer. The breakfast buffet is tasty and they give you 2 waters per day. Loved the big smart tv, the water pressure and cleanliness of the room. We went to lifestyle mall close by, took a grab to chinatown, visited iconsiam and 2 temples while staying here. It's lovely and relaxing after a long day out and the pool bar makes good drinks too. Thank you for the kindness, we hope to come back soon

The facilities were kept clean, and the reception and cleaning staff were very kind! There were three shower rooms and three toilets each for women, and they were cleaned frequently. The shower rooms had shampoo and body soap. There was also one hairdryer in the vanity area. The room had a locker large enough to fit a carry-on size bag, and another locker at the head of the bed for valuables, both of which could be locked, which was reassuring. I brought a converter from Japan for the outlets, but it wasn't necessary. There were two outlets by the bed, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. The laundry room was on the 3rd floor, and I could hang my washed clothes there to dry. Since it's a well-ventilated indoor space, my laundry wouldn't get wet even during a squall. The fish market is nearby, so I noticed a slight fishy smell until I got to the hostel, but overall, it was a very satisfying stay! I'm glad I chose to stay here!

The hotel's location is pretty good. There's a convenience store downstairs, and about 500 meters south, you'll find a large shopping mall and a night market. To the north, there are all Chinese restaurants. The room itself is quite spacious. Compared to hotels in China, the decor is a bit dated, but it's very clean and the bed is large and comfortable. The front desk staff can provide basic Chinese service, so checking in was easy. The breakfast spread is also quite rich. It might be a little far from the main attractions, though.

This hotel in Bangkok offers great value for money. It's right by the Chao Phraya River, and I almost always stay here when I'm in Bangkok. There's a particular lady at the front desk who, whether by coincidence or fate, I seem to encounter every year for check-in; her service is excellent. Getting around from here is quite convenient. The hotel offers a free shuttle boat to Sathorn Pier on the hour, and there are free tuk-tuks to the night market in the evenings. You can reach almost all the major attractions by boat. The only downside is that it's an older 5-star hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated. This time, my room was undergoing renovation, with wall demolition starting around 9 AM (I didn't pay attention to when it ended). However, it was very quiet in the evenings, so it didn't really bother me. Overall, it's still highly recommended!

Holiday Inn Bangkok: Perfect Solo Weekend Retreat Near Emsphere I recently spent a relaxed long weekend (just over two nights) solo at Holiday Inn Bangkok, right next to Emsphere mall. As an NRI zipping between Hong Kong and Bangkok for work, I needed a hassle-free spot with easy access to shopping, dining, and BTS— this nailed it. Location (5/5): Smack in Sukhumvit's heart, it's a 1-min walk to Emsphere's trendy shops, cinemas, and food scene. BTS Phrom Phong is 5 mins away, making airport runs and city jaunts effortless. No taxi drama in Bangkok traffic! Room & Comfort (4.5/5): My superior room was spotless, modern, and spacious for solo use— king bed was plush, blackout curtains ensured deep sleep despite city buzz. Huge bathroom with rain shower and amenities felt luxurious. Minor nitpick: AC was a tad noisy at night, but earplugs fixed it. Free Wi-Fi was speedy for my work calls. Service & Facilities (4/5): Staff were warm and efficient—check-in was instant, and they upgraded my view gratis. Gym and pool on the 8th floor offered stunning skyline vistas; poolside was quiet for solo unwinding. Breakfast buffet was solid (fresh Thai/Western options), but could use more variety for repeat stays. Value (4.5/5): At ~THB 4,500/night (booked via app), it's a steal for the location and IHG perks. Quiet for a city hotel, ideal for solo travelers avoiding party vibes. Overall: 4.5/5. Highly recommend for short business-leisure trips. Will return!

Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium

Addressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. The absolute highlight of this hotel is the room comfort! As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a subtle, pleasant scent, and it was clear the environment was meticulously clean and tidy, with not a speck of dust or any strange odors. I especially have to praise their bed and bedding; the firmness was absolutely perfect, offering both a comfortable embrace and ample support. It allowed me to sleep soundly until morning, making it hard to even want to get out of bed. If you're as picky as I am about whether 'the bed is comfortable and the room is clean,' you definitely won't be disappointed with this place.

The lazy receptionist refused to give the deposit and told her that on arrival day i gave deposit to the receptionist which she didnt even give the receipt. The ladies always on the phone and pretend does not know what the guest are saying. Hoping someon can contact me from the hotel management. Rest is nice and buggy driver is the only one helpful.
