"The bellboy was very helpful, carried our luggage, and even brought us drinks 🥤 – quite a quick thinker! Also, the Chinese intern who helped us book a taxi on our departure day was lovely. The surrounding area is very convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. It's about a 10-minute walk to Thaniya Japanese Street. The hotpot and BBQ restaurant across from the hotel is decent, and you should definitely try the fried chicken joint run by the couple – it's delicious. There's also an unassuming but popular bun shop on the street behind the hotel that I recommend. The pool is okay, not huge, but the breakfast is quite rich and varied. Overall, I'd choose this place again."

Bangkok City Rama 9 Hotel A modern urban retreat in the heart of Bangkok’s new business and lifestyle district Bangkok City Rama 9 Hotel is a contemporary, stylish hotel located in the vibrant Rama 9 – Asoke area, one of Bangkok’s fastest-growing districts for business, dining, and lifestyle experiences. Designed with a sleek modern aesthetic and surrounded by towering cityscapes, the hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay for both business and leisure travelers seeking easy access to Bangkok’s most dynamic urban neighborhoods. Situated just minutes from major commercial hubs, the hotel is perfectly positioned near Central Rama 9, Fortune Town, G Tower, and the bustling Ratchadapisek and Asoke business zones. The location also offers quick connectivity to transportation, including MRT Rama 9, Makkasan Airport Rail Link, and major expressways, making it easy for guests to explore Bangkok or travel to and from the airport with ease.

"My first trip to Bangkok was fantastic! The locals were friendly, warm, kind, and polite. The hotel experience was great too. The front desk staff could all speak Chinese, and there was free milk and coffee available in the lobby for guests to help themselves to. There's also a delivery rack, which was really convenient for picking up late-night food orders placed via Grab. In Thailand, hotels typically have a 3 PM check-in time. We arrived at 7 AM after an all-night flight, feeling exhausted. We knew early check-in usually costs extra, so we planned to just drop off our luggage at the front desk, go out, and come back for check-in at 3 PM. To our pleasant surprise, the hotel had an available room and let us check in immediately without any early check-in fees! This was a huge help and gave us plenty of time to rest and catch up on sleep. A big thank you to the hotel! If there aren't any rooms available for early check-in, there are plenty of seats and tables in the lobby where you can enjoy the free coffee and milk while you wait. Right opposite the hotel is a large 7-Eleven with a wide selection of goods – you'll likely find all the must-buy items you see online. In a small alley opposite the hotel, there's a laundromat, as the hotel doesn't have one. I recommend buying local laundry detergent samples from 7-Eleven; they make your clothes smell amazing. The washers and dryers are coin-operated, and there's a coin changer machine inside the laundromat. Next to that laundromat is another, even bigger 7-Eleven. The 7-Eleven directly opposite the hotel can sometimes run out of items because so many hotel guests shop there, so the one by the laundromat is a good alternative – it's less crowded, bigger, and has a more comprehensive selection. The subway station is very close, about a five-minute walk. There are two bus stops nearby: a smaller one about 200 meters to the left downstairs from the hotel, and a larger one next to the subway station."

Aman Nai Lert Bangkok nests within the seven-acre green oasis of Nai Lert Park in Thailand’s capital, seamlessly blending the city's dynamic energy with a true sense of tranquillity. Perfectly placed for an immersion into Bangkok, the Jean-Michel Gathy-designed hotel is home to 52 suites, a 1,500-square-metre Aman Spa & Wellness centre and several destination dining and socialising venues.

"Even the Aman in the city has its charms; this is definitely a top-tier experience in Bangkok. The rooms are impeccable, from design to maintenance, and very comfortable. The public areas offer plenty to explore; the lobby has a great view and connects to the restaurant without being noisy. I particularly loved the money tree in the lobby. Downstairs is Nai Lert Park, an urban oasis in the heart of bustling Bangkok that's worth visiting even if you're not staying at the hotel. The hotel's food is excellent; don't miss the crab porridge and crab omelet for breakfast – they are absolutely delicious! The service was flawless, and they provided many complimentary items. It's a shame I couldn't take the handmade chocolates with me!"

Simple breakfast is included in the price. The room is simple, no frills. There is a TV and safe, but no cabinet to store your clothes. The soundproofing is bad though. "We spent two days at this hotel, and it was a fantastic experience. Everything is impeccably maintained, clean, and gives off a sense of tranquility from the moment you step inside. The rooms are perfectly utilized, the beds are very comfortable, and we loved the thoughtful touch of finding the hotel's own Arabica coffee to prepare in the room, instead of the usual instant coffee. The breakfast deserves a special mention: it combines a small buffet with freshly prepared dishes and serves one of the best coffees we've had in Bangkok. We also had dinner twice at the hotel's restaurant. As guests, we received a discount, and all the food was delicious. The pool, located on the ninth floor, offers pleasant views of the surrounding buildings and a perfect area with loungers for relaxation. Finally, I must highlight the friendliness of all the staff. Without a doubt, we would stay here again."

"Addressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also"

"Among all the Bangkok hotels I've stayed at, this one offered the best value for money in terms of room and bathroom condition. From the moment I stepped in, the staff greeted me warmly, and their overall demeanor exuded friendliness. The room was well-cleaned, and there were no unpleasant odors from the air conditioning, which was great. I felt like the hotel was very well-maintained overall. Across the street, there's a 7-Eleven and Cafe Amazon, and Ekkamai is about 2.5km away, making it convenient to get around by car or motorbike. I had a great stay and would definitely consider staying here again."

This time, I stayed at this hotel to attend the Monster Music Festival 2026 held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). The MTR station is about 50 meters from the front desk, and I could go directly to the festival venue at QSNCC via the underground walkway. I had merchandise I purchased in advance shipped to the hotel, and I was able to pick it up during check-in. Although there weren't any Japanese-speaking staff, I managed to communicate with a little English and a translation app. The doormen were consistently friendly. When I suddenly decided to go to Pattaya and asked if they could arrange a taxi for a few hours, they found one that was slightly cheaper than the going rate. The facilities are standard for a 4-star hotel, and breakfast is also average. I would definitely consider staying here again if there's another event at QSNCC. Going to 7-Eleven required using the nearby pedestrian bridge, which was a bit of a workout for my legs! (lol)

My overall experience at this hotel was excellent. The check-in process was quick and efficient, handled by friendly front desk staff who provided great service. The room was clean and comfortable with a well-designed layout. The bed was soft and provided a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was spotless and bright with a full set of amenities. The overall environment was very relaxing. All in-room facilities, including the air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and TV, worked perfectly, and I encountered no issues during my stay. The hotel's public facilities were also very well-maintained. Whether it was the restaurant, gym, or lounge areas, you could tell they put a lot of effort into their operations. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh food, catering to different guests' needs. Moreover, the hotel boasts a convenient location, close to transport links and commercial areas, making it ideal for sightseeing, shopping, or business trips. All in all, this stay left me with a wonderful impression. Not only was the accommodation comfortable, but the staff were also professional and enthusiastic, making for a very pleasant experience. If I have the chance to visit this area again in the future, I would definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to my friends and family.

We loved it here so much. The view from the pool is nice as well as from the gym. I wish we would have stayed longer. The breakfast buffet is tasty and they give you 2 waters per day. Loved the big smart tv, the water pressure and cleanliness of the room. We went to lifestyle mall close by, took a grab to chinatown, visited iconsiam and 2 temples while staying here. It's lovely and relaxing after a long day out and the pool bar makes good drinks too. Thank you for the kindness, we hope to come back soon

The facilities were kept clean, and the reception and cleaning staff were very kind! There were three shower rooms and three toilets each for women, and they were cleaned frequently. The shower rooms had shampoo and body soap. There was also one hairdryer in the vanity area. The room had a locker large enough to fit a carry-on size bag, and another locker at the head of the bed for valuables, both of which could be locked, which was reassuring. I brought a converter from Japan for the outlets, but it wasn't necessary. There were two outlets by the bed, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. The laundry room was on the 3rd floor, and I could hang my washed clothes there to dry. Since it's a well-ventilated indoor space, my laundry wouldn't get wet even during a squall. The fish market is nearby, so I noticed a slight fishy smell until I got to the hostel, but overall, it was a very satisfying stay! I'm glad I chose to stay here!

The hotel's location is pretty good. There's a convenience store downstairs, and about 500 meters south, you'll find a large shopping mall and a night market. To the north, there are all Chinese restaurants. The room itself is quite spacious. Compared to hotels in China, the decor is a bit dated, but it's very clean and the bed is large and comfortable. The front desk staff can provide basic Chinese service, so checking in was easy. The breakfast spread is also quite rich. It might be a little far from the main attractions, though.

This hotel in Bangkok offers great value for money. It's right by the Chao Phraya River, and I almost always stay here when I'm in Bangkok. There's a particular lady at the front desk who, whether by coincidence or fate, I seem to encounter every year for check-in; her service is excellent. Getting around from here is quite convenient. The hotel offers a free shuttle boat to Sathorn Pier on the hour, and there are free tuk-tuks to the night market in the evenings. You can reach almost all the major attractions by boat. The only downside is that it's an older 5-star hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated. This time, my room was undergoing renovation, with wall demolition starting around 9 AM (I didn't pay attention to when it ended). However, it was very quiet in the evenings, so it didn't really bother me. Overall, it's still highly recommended!

Holiday Inn Bangkok: Perfect Solo Weekend Retreat Near Emsphere I recently spent a relaxed long weekend (just over two nights) solo at Holiday Inn Bangkok, right next to Emsphere mall. As an NRI zipping between Hong Kong and Bangkok for work, I needed a hassle-free spot with easy access to shopping, dining, and BTS— this nailed it. Location (5/5): Smack in Sukhumvit's heart, it's a 1-min walk to Emsphere's trendy shops, cinemas, and food scene. BTS Phrom Phong is 5 mins away, making airport runs and city jaunts effortless. No taxi drama in Bangkok traffic! Room & Comfort (4.5/5): My superior room was spotless, modern, and spacious for solo use— king bed was plush, blackout curtains ensured deep sleep despite city buzz. Huge bathroom with rain shower and amenities felt luxurious. Minor nitpick: AC was a tad noisy at night, but earplugs fixed it. Free Wi-Fi was speedy for my work calls. Service & Facilities (4/5): Staff were warm and efficient—check-in was instant, and they upgraded my view gratis. Gym and pool on the 8th floor offered stunning skyline vistas; poolside was quiet for solo unwinding. Breakfast buffet was solid (fresh Thai/Western options), but could use more variety for repeat stays. Value (4.5/5): At ~THB 4,500/night (booked via app), it's a steal for the location and IHG perks. Quiet for a city hotel, ideal for solo travelers avoiding party vibes. Overall: 4.5/5. Highly recommend for short business-leisure trips. Will return!

The absolute highlight of this hotel is the room comfort! As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a subtle, pleasant scent, and it was clear the environment was meticulously clean and tidy, with not a speck of dust or any strange odors. I especially have to praise their bed and bedding; the firmness was absolutely perfect, offering both a comfortable embrace and ample support. It allowed me to sleep soundly until morning, making it hard to even want to get out of bed. If you're as picky as I am about whether 'the bed is comfortable and the room is clean,' you definitely won't be disappointed with this place.

Excellent hotel. We had a large, spacious, and clean room on the 9th floor with a shower, a big wardrobe, and a refrigerator. The room also had a kettle, daily bottled water, coffee, and tea bags. There's a nice, clean rooftop pool with beautiful city views. The food selection is very diverse, catering to all tastes, and the service is great. The hotel staff is very polite, friendly, and always ready to help with any issues. We booked two rooms, and initially, they were on different floors, but upon check-in, they offered us two adjacent rooms on the same floor.
