Hotels with Bars in Bangkok

I've stayed at this hotel several times and I'm always satisfied. I'm always greeted warmly, the rooms are consistently clean, the beds are very comfortable, the water pressure is good, and the internet is excellent. The breakfast is also good, though I would appreciate a bit more variety with bread options. The gym is open 24/7, which I also really appreciate. The nearby park, about 10 minutes from the hotel, is perfect for a morning run. There are also washing machines and dryers on the upper floor. The location is excellent, with the metro just 5 minutes from the hotel.

The room was clean and very comfortable. It's super convenient for getting around, just a few minutes' walk to 7-Eleven and the subway, which takes you to the Erawan Shrine and various shopping malls. The staff were all warm and attentive. The SPA on the 7th floor was excellent with professional techniques. They even offered snacks and drinks before and after the massage. And that mango sticky rice was absolutely delicious! 😋

Overall, we were very satisfied. The staff were friendly and even folded animal towels for the kids, which was a lovely touch. Security was also very strict, and we felt safe during our entire 6-day stay. Breakfast was average, but acceptable. The hotel is conveniently located near a mall, night market, and supermarket, and transportation is also good.

Last summer, I stayed at the same hotel and had a fantastic experience. This year, however, it was just average. First off, the hotel has been undergoing renovations every morning for a long time. Then, the ventilation system in the room wasn't good enough. I'm not sure where the renovation work was happening, but the entire room smelled of paint thinner, which made for a terrible experience. Also, a year later, the location for the morning buffet has changed. Unlike previous years, you can no longer enjoy breakfast with a view of the Chao Phraya River. Unless something changes, I won't be staying here next year.

The rooms are located in the Huai Khwang area, close to Huai Khwang MRT station. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. This hotel is very grand and luxurious, and the staff are warm and polite. It's my first choice every time I come to Bangkok for a business trip.

Checked in around 2:30pm and it went pretty smooth. Requested for a high floor and a room facing the Expressway/highway and got put on a decent 12 floor. Lobby had 3 elevators to which was enough imo! View was chef's kiss! Room was pretty good for it's price and toilet was huge with a semi auto bidet! The only caveat was that I now understand the reviews where they mentioned the smell of the drain (from the toilet), it wasn't smelly all the time but when it did.. it was fine when the bathroom door is closed but going in to use it was a gamble lmao NOT A DEALBREAKER THO (: The lobby was pretty convenient as there was a few small little food stalls that sold Japanese, Thai food and matcha. Lawson was right at the lobby level too so that was super convenient. Right outside Lawson at the side entrance, there is a delivery drop off shelf that you can snap a photo to send your grab delivery rider but meeting them at the lobby for cash payments was pretty decent too considering how comfortable the lobby was. Didn't get her name but the lady at the front desk was super helpful! She helped me with getting a late checkout at no fee. Bless her heart and give her a raise!

The hotel is right next to Emsphere, very convenient and walking to MRT Phrom Phong is around 8-10mins, mostly covered or Asoke in the other direction non-covered. Hotel seems dated but relatively clean, staff is helpful and provide service with a smile. Not bad for the price and would stay again.

My overall stay in Bangkok was great this time. The hotel's location is quite convenient, making it easy to get to major city attractions, malls, and restaurants. The surrounding area is also relatively quiet, so it doesn't feel overly noisy. The room was clean and tidy, with a simple yet tasteful decor. The space felt more comfortable than expected. Both the bedding and bathroom experience were good, making it very relaxing to return and rest after a day of sightseeing. The hotel's public areas also have a nice design, and the overall atmosphere is quite suitable for tourists visiting Bangkok. The staff were very helpful, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. They were also prompt in assisting with any issues. If you're visiting Bangkok for the first time or prioritize a hotel's location, environment, and overall experience, this hotel is worth considering. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I would consider staying here again on my next trip to Bangkok.

1. I stayed for one night because I was attending a concert at Idea Live, which is near the hotel. I was really grateful that the front desk allowed me to check in before 11 AM that day. 2. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was that the showerhead was quite old and didn't work very well; the water pressure was too strong, but the spray area was very small. 3. Getting to the hotel from BKK (Suvarnabhumi Airport) involved taking the Airport Rail Link for a few stops and then walking for about 15 minutes. However, that walk isn't the easiest, so it might be challenging if you have large luggage.

This is my go-to hotel in Bangkok, and the staff are always so friendly, so I never hesitate to book here. While the facilities are undeniably a bit dated, its central location offers excellent transport links, and traffic is relatively lighter compared to other areas, making it convenient for getting anywhere. On days when I have no plans, I love to relax by the rooftop pool and simply enjoy a comfortable hotel stay.
