"For the short Spring Festival holiday, instead of traveling far with the kids, we decided to stay local and chose this hotel in Suzhou, reportedly the number one in the city. Having had a great experience at the Four Seasons Guangzhou before, I was curious to see what surprises this newly opened Suzhou location would offer. We proactively called ahead to inquire about breakfast for the children. Upon check-in, we paid to upgrade to a room with a view of Jinji Lake, which we were told was a rare room type. However, I have to say, the size of this room type seemed a bit smaller than the standard room. The 'balcony' was also very cramped. If you're considering booking this room type, you might want to proceed with caution. Upon entering the room, they had prepared a small birthday gift for my child, which was a nice touch. Overall, their amenities and service are decent, but I just felt like something was missing, and it didn't quite live up to my expectations; there was no 'wow' factor. The main issue was the cramped room size. I recall that the standard rooms at Four Seasons Guangzhou generally felt much more spacious. Although the Suzhou hotel opened later, it's noticeably smaller."
