"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the middle of all the main attractions. I'd recommend doing a bit of planning for your trip, otherwise you might end up like me, with a great location but no idea where to go! This was my first time staying at a non-chain hotel, and I was surprisingly impressed with everything – from the room's cleanliness and facilities to the service. The front desk staff, especially one young lady, was incredibly kind and gentle, haha. Oh, and the soundproofing is great too, but the front desk still thoughtfully provides earplugs."

Hotel near Industrial Park, Jinji Lake Commercial Area,Suzhou
Situated along Jinjihu Avenue, the Kempinski Hotel Suzhou (Suzhou Jinjihu Kaibinsiji Dajiudian) emerges from the parkland of Jinji Lake International Golf Course. The surroundings of both the hotel property and the 27-hole golf course are refreshingly lush with trees and picturesque landscaping providing an atmosphere of tranquility and peace. The hotel is served by Shanghai's Hongqiao and Pudong International airports (1-1.5 hours), Wuxi Airport (40 minutes) and Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (2 hours). Suzhou is just a 20 minute train ride away. Chinese food lovers can check out Wang Hu Ge for palate-pleasing Cantonese and Huaiyang dishes. The Western restaurant serves superbly prepared buffets and à la carte dishes. Guests can also enjoy freshly brewed beer or Bavarian specialties in Palauner Brauhaus or relax with cocktails, cognacs and wines in the stylish hotel bar. The Kempinski hosts events and functions in its grand pillarless hall and numerous multifunctional rooms, which come with all the necessary multimedia gear. Guests can bump up their oxygen intake with a visit to the gym, indoor heated swimming pool, tennis court and squash court. For more relaxed pursuits, the hotel also offers billiards, chess and cards games. Other leisure options include a 2-story spa and of course, a wide range of golfing activities.

"The Capybara King Room was great! It had a projector with mini-games, which my child absolutely loved. The room also came with kid-friendly amenities like a step stool for the sink, a toilet seat, a children's toiletries set, and cartoon bedding. There's an indoor play area and an outdoor activity zone, and the lake view is beautiful! Yolanda from Guest Relations contacted me a day in advance and provided excellent personalized service. Highly recommend for families traveling with children!"

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝

GGaodaxianLet me start with the conclusion: the room had an excellent view, it was pet-friendly, and they even provided pet supplies in the room. We'll definitely be back! This Chinese New Year, from ***** New Year's Eve to the sixth day of the new year, we stayed at Hengli. We also ate all our meals at the 2nd-floor restaurant, practically turning it into our personal canteen. On New Year's Eve and on the fifth day (when people welcome the God of Wealth), the hotel put on nearly an hour-long fireworks display. It's been a long time since I've seen fireworks on such a grand scale! There are also many places to visit nearby, and getting around is convenient.

Hhy8311This is our third stay at the Four Seasons Suzhou, and my child absolutely loves it. The hotel's environment, facilities, and service are all excellent. Next to it is Ligongdi, which is full of restaurants, so it's quiet for staying but convenient for dining. It's especially suitable for families with children, featuring a dedicated kids' club, an outdoor infinity pool, and an indoor heated pool. On our first day, we even received complimentary fruit and snacks. The only downside this time was during breakfast; the omelet chef had a bad attitude and wasn't very professional. Couldn't they have been a bit more polite? I was so annoyed before I even had a bite of breakfast that I felt full just from the frustration.

AAnonymous UserOur villa had a king-size bed and a terrace right by the water. The room was spacious and well-designed, with all the amenities we needed. Elld at the front desk was always asking if we needed anything, and Chen Liang, the shuttle driver, was so thoughtful. He noticed I had a bit of trouble getting in and out of the shuttle and immediately offered me a footstool, which was really touching. The staff at the Chinese restaurant recommended a set menu that was delicious and generous; they even helped us pack up the leftovers to take back to our room and heated them up for us later that evening. They truly go above and beyond for their guests.

AAdairMy stay at Jinke Grand Hotel during the Labour Holiday was a great experience, especially considering the price. It was very cost-effective, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the amenities offered at such an affordable rate. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice view and even a bathtub, which was a great bonus. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which added to the overall experience. The location is very convenient. It is within walking distance of Suzhou North Railway Station, making it easy to get around. It is also about a 20-minutes trip to nearby malls and Western restaurants, which was perfect for me. The service was excellent. The staff were professional, polite, and very helpful. I especially appreciated that they spoke both English and Mandarin, which made communication smooth and easy. The only downside was the breakfast selection. While it was decent, I do wish there were more Western-style options, particularly when it comes to meat choices. Overall, I had a very good stay and would definitely recommend Jinke Grand Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in a convenient location.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, right in the Shantang Street scenic area, inside the Lingnan Guild Hall. It's very convenient to get to the train station, Humble Administrator's Garden, and Lingering Garden. There's even a boat dock right at the entrance. The service was fantastic. On the first day, we arrived early and they helped us store our luggage. As soon as our room was ready, they notified us immediately for check-in. The next morning, we had an early start, and they kindly arranged breakfast for us in advance. The front desk staff, Summer and Huihui, were both very nice. The room was great, set in a garden-style courtyard with a koi pond. We even saw a heron on the first day! The room was very quiet; even though it's in a scenic area, there was no noise at night. The hotel had thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning beforehand, so it was cool and dry when we entered.

AAnonymous UserThis place is fantastic! The room is huge, with a living room and kitchen downstairs, and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs (there's also a separate toilet downstairs). It could easily accommodate four people with plenty of space to spare! Outside, there's a massive cold plunge pool and a hot tub. The hot tub is kept warm 24/7, making it incredibly relaxing to soak in! If you come in the summer, you'd be able to swim in the cold pool. 😆 The hotel also offers a variety of free activities, including kayaks. The private waterfront access provides an absolutely stunning spot to watch the sunrise! And if you visit in the summer, you might even get to see the lotus flowers blooming. The shuttle service staff were super friendly and helpful. Our housekeepers, Nancy and Tommy, were also great, providing excellent and prompt service via WeChat. Thank you all! However, the breakfast was a bit too simple compared to the price of the stay.

GGuest UserThis is my second stay at the Crowne Plaza Kunshan, and it's fantastic! It offers incredible value for money, and the location is excellent. There's a direct corridor from the hotel to Jiufang City, which makes dining and shopping super convenient. The hotel staff are also very welcoming and friendly. I really like the decor style too. All in all, I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Kunshan.

DdyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

GGuest UserBanyan Tree, as always, is wonderfully secluded and comfortable! The butler, a lovely lady, upgraded our room again. And we even ran into Alice Xiaoxiao, the butler who assisted us during our stay last year – it was great to see her again! She proactively reached out before check-in to ask about our needs and was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The concierge service upon arrival was also very thoughtful. The courtyards, lush greenery, and water features are beautifully designed, offering a new picturesque view at every turn. The views from our room were truly refreshing and invigorating! Kids' toiletries were fully stocked, and the complimentary soft drinks were of good quality, not just an afterthought. The hotel also offers free activities like Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese exercise), cocktail making, and night runs! Overall, a very satisfying stay! Excellent value for money! **Dining:** The hotel's Baiyun Restaurant is also fantastic. Even though dinner was a set menu from a group deal, every dish was surprisingly delicious! It's a perfect alternative to the Rongsheng Restaurant next door, where you often have to queue for two hours if you don't want to wait. They've changed breakfast to a mostly buffet style, which can sometimes mean colder food with a less-than-ideal texture. However, they still offer à la carte service upon request, which is great! And the champagne was delicious! **Activities:** This trip, we came specifically to climb Lion Mountain, and we successfully reached the summit – the entire scenic area is very thoughtfully developed! Safety measures are also very well implemented! Whether looking out from the mountain or gazing at it from the hotel, it's a view within a view – perfect for photos! There are several well-designed buildings nearby, like museums and science centers, all within walking distance. The hotel key card provides direct access to Lion Mountain Park, and in the evening, they even offer transportation for a golf course tour. The park has added more activities since last year, including a mini-train, cycling, and boating. This year, we even tried kayaking – so much fun! We'll definitely be back next year! Our sincere thanks to Alice Xiaoxiao, our butler, who made our first stay enjoyable and our second even more comfortable. Also, a big shout-out to the handsome concierge who helped with our luggage! The auntie providing turn-down service gave our child small gifts and drinks, and the three lovely ladies at the bar patiently taught us cocktail making… All the hotel staff made us feel so warm and welcome. Looking forward to our next stay!
