We had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝

GaodaxianLet me start with the conclusion: the room had an excellent view, it was pet-friendly, and they even provided pet supplies in the room. We'll definitely be back!
This Chinese New Year, from ***** New Year's Eve to the sixth day of the new year, we stayed at Hengli. We also ate all our meals at the 2nd-floor restaurant, practically turning it into our personal canteen.
On New Year's Eve and on the fifth day (when people welcome the God of Wealth), the hotel put on nearly an hour-long fireworks display. It's been a long time since I've seen fireworks on such a grand scale!
There are also many places to visit nearby, and getting around is convenient.

Guest UserChoosing to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel for my Suzhou vacation was an absolutely fantastic experience, truly embodying the relaxed sophistication of a luxury getaway. It's no wonder it's considered a top-tier luxury hotel on Jinji Lake. The ambiance, service, and attention to detail were all incredibly impressive, making it the perfect choice for anyone visiting Suzhou.
The hotel boasts a unique location on its own private island in Jinji Lake, offering a secluded and tranquil retreat far from the city's hustle and bustle. From the moment you enter, the scenery unfolds beautifully, with stunning lake views and lush greenery at every turn, each step revealing an elegant Suzhou-style charm. During the day, you can gaze at the expansive blue waters of Jinji Lake and the city skyline. In the evening, the sunset casts a warm glow over the lake, and after dark, the lights sparkle, providing a direct view of the 'Eye of Suzhou' Ferris wheel at night. It's peaceful and therapeutic, and every photo you take is filled with atmospheric beauty, perfectly capturing that sense of a vacation escape.
The overall design seamlessly blends the serene, ink-wash landscape aesthetic of Jiangnan gardens with modern, subtle luxury. There's no over-the-top decor; instead, every detail exudes understated elegance. The public areas are open and refined, adorned with garden elements and Chinese design accents, creating a quiet and serene atmosphere. Strolling through feels like being in a traditional Jiangnan courtyard, instantly bringing a sense of calm and relaxation.
What truly moved me was the Four Seasons' impeccable service, which genuinely paid attention to every detail, making me feel completely at home. From the moment I arrived at the underground parking, staff proactively helped with luggage and guided me through the check-in process, which was efficient and quick, with no long waits. I was also pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful room upgrade upon check-in. The staff even brought a generous welcome fruit platter, exquisite desserts, and special tea, accompanied by a handwritten greeting card – a truly heartfelt gesture. Throughout my stay, the staff were polite, gentle, and promptly responsive to any request, always there when needed but never intrusive, striking the perfect balance.
The guest room's living quality far exceeded my expectations. The overall design used low-saturation, soft color tones, creating a warm yet sophisticated ambiance. The room had excellent natural light and stunning views, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of the lake, providing an exceptional viewing experience. The entire room was meticulously clean, with spotless corners and crevices. The bed was soft, fluffy, and breathable, paired with high-quality bedding, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable sleep. The bathroom was spacious with a separate wet and dry area, and the design featuring a Chinese screen alongside a scenic bathtub was particularly unique and atmospheric. Coupled with high-end Frédéric Malle bath products, taking a relaxing bath was incredibly therapeutic. The room's soundproofing was excellent, blocking out all external noise, making it quiet and private, allowing for immersive personal time.
The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety and fresh ingredients, with both Western and Chinese dishes, as well as local Jiangnan specialties, all exquisitely prepared and authentic. The hotel also offers diverse recreational experiences such as a flower workshop, pottery workshop, and lake-side cycling, along with thoughtful family-friendly amenities, catering to both adult relaxation and children's enjoyment.
This stay was a perfect 10! The Suzhou Four Seasons seamlessly blends Suzhou's elegant charm with luxurious service, showcasing high quality through every detail. It offers incredible value for money and has become my benchmark for luxury hotels in Suzhou. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Suzhou!

Guest UserI stayed for two nights. The first night was on the third floor, where there was a photo-op spot right by the entrance. The second floor was a simple room, but it had a projector screen for watching movies. The room was a bit smaller and cheaper, but all the amenities provided were the same, which I really liked. Personally, I'd recommend the third floor over the second, mainly because it also has a small balcony, and it works out to be a better value overall, with not much difference in price.
Right downstairs is a cafe. If you stay on the third floor, you get two coffee vouchers and a dessert. I ordered the dark chocolate, a matcha latte, and a pistachio Basque cheesecake – all were delicious and had a very refreshing taste. The cafe also has a great atmosphere with plenty of books and is very Instagrammable, plus there are a few cats roaming around.
The guesthouse is right next to Pingjiang Road, which I personally find much better for browsing than Shantang Street 🤣. Even if you're looking for a cheongsam, there are many options, and most are quite affordable, cheaper than what you'd find on Shantang Street.

Anonymous UserOur villa had a king-size bed and a terrace right by the water. The room was spacious and well-designed, with all the amenities we needed. Elld at the front desk was always asking if we needed anything, and Chen Liang, the shuttle driver, was so thoughtful. He noticed I had a bit of trouble getting in and out of the shuttle and immediately offered me a footstool, which was really touching. The staff at the Chinese restaurant recommended a set menu that was delicious and generous; they even helped us pack up the leftovers to take back to our room and heated them up for us later that evening. They truly go above and beyond for their guests.

Guest UserExploring Suzhou, I was fortunate to stay at Jiangnan Zhizao Mansion. This visit felt like stepping into a Jiangnan poem, truly unforgettable. The courtyards and corridors are beautifully laid out, with dark tiled roofs and white walls complemented by lush flora. Every step offers a picturesque view, exuding elegance. Sitting in the courtyard, I felt all the city's hustle and bustle melt away. The guest rooms are clean and refined, with tasteful and comfortable furnishings. The bedding was soft, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were polite and attentive, answering all my questions thoroughly, especially when I inquired about local streets and historical sites, showing genuine hospitality. Staying here, I could easily immerse myself in Suzhou's vibrant life right outside, yet return to a tranquil haven. Every brick and tile whispers the charm of Jiangnan, and every interaction reflects their sincere dedication to hospitality. This wonderful accommodation felt like a celestial being gracing the mortal world, with its elegant charm touching my heart. When I return to Suzhou, I will definitely stay here again. Special thanks to Xiao Liu for their excellent service.

This place is fantastic! The room is huge, with a living room and kitchen downstairs, and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs (there's also a separate toilet downstairs). It could easily accommodate four people with plenty of space to spare!
Outside, there's a massive cold plunge pool and a hot tub. The hot tub is kept warm 24/7, making it incredibly relaxing to soak in! If you come in the summer, you'd be able to swim in the cold pool. 😆
The hotel also offers a variety of free activities, including kayaks. The private waterfront access provides an absolutely stunning spot to watch the sunrise! And if you visit in the summer, you might even get to see the lotus flowers blooming.
The shuttle service staff were super friendly and helpful. Our housekeepers, Nancy and Tommy, were also great, providing excellent and prompt service via WeChat. Thank you all!
However, the breakfast was a bit too simple compared to the price of the stay.

Guest UserThis is my second stay at the Crowne Plaza Kunshan, and it's fantastic! It offers incredible value for money, and the location is excellent. There's a direct corridor from the hotel to Jiufang City, which makes dining and shopping super convenient. The hotel staff are also very welcoming and friendly. I really like the decor style too. All in all, I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Kunshan.

dyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests.
The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries.
Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower.
The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums.
In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs.
Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me.
But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

Guest UserBanyan Tree, as always, is wonderfully secluded and comfortable!
The butler, a lovely lady, upgraded our room again. And we even ran into Alice Xiaoxiao, the butler who assisted us during our stay last year – it was great to see her again! She proactively reached out before check-in to ask about our needs and was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The concierge service upon arrival was also very thoughtful.
The courtyards, lush greenery, and water features are beautifully designed, offering a new picturesque view at every turn. The views from our room were truly refreshing and invigorating! Kids' toiletries were fully stocked, and the complimentary soft drinks were of good quality, not just an afterthought. The hotel also offers free activities like Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese exercise), cocktail making, and night runs!
Overall, a very satisfying stay! Excellent value for money!
**Dining:** The hotel's Baiyun Restaurant is also fantastic. Even though dinner was a set menu from a group deal, every dish was surprisingly delicious! It's a perfect alternative to the Rongsheng Restaurant next door, where you often have to queue for two hours if you don't want to wait. They've changed breakfast to a mostly buffet style, which can sometimes mean colder food with a less-than-ideal texture. However, they still offer à la carte service upon request, which is great! And the champagne was delicious!
**Activities:** This trip, we came specifically to climb Lion Mountain, and we successfully reached the summit – the entire scenic area is very thoughtfully developed! Safety measures are also very well implemented! Whether looking out from the mountain or gazing at it from the hotel, it's a view within a view – perfect for photos! There are several well-designed buildings nearby, like museums and science centers, all within walking distance. The hotel key card provides direct access to Lion Mountain Park, and in the evening, they even offer transportation for a golf course tour. The park has added more activities since last year, including a mini-train, cycling, and boating. This year, we even tried kayaking – so much fun! We'll definitely be back next year!
Our sincere thanks to Alice Xiaoxiao, our butler, who made our first stay enjoyable and our second even more comfortable. Also, a big shout-out to the handsome concierge who helped with our luggage! The auntie providing turn-down service gave our child small gifts and drinks, and the three lovely ladies at the bar patiently taught us cocktail making… All the hotel staff made us feel so warm and welcome.
Looking forward to our next stay!
