The Hyatt Regency Suzhou (Kaiyue Jiudian) is situated in Wuzhong District, Suzhou Railway Station is approximately 12 km (7 mi) away. Diners can enjoy Chinese and Western food at the hotel restaurant. In their spare time, guests can unwind with a drink in the bar. This Suzhou hotel provides free in-room Wi-Fi as well as parking on site.

"On this trip to Suzhou, I chose the Hyatt by Jinji Lake, and overall it was very comfortable. But what I want to praise the most is Julie from Guest Relations. The night before check-in, she added me on WeChat to confirm my needs, reminded me of directions, and told me I could drop off my luggage early. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable enough, and the location couldn't be beat – close to Eslite Spectrum and Moonlight Wharf. Julie's discreet approach of 'there when you need her, but not intrusive when you don't' is what made this hotel stay so pleasant. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Suzhou."

"I feel so lucky to have spontaneously decided to travel and managed to book this hotel so close to the Humble Administrator's Garden just a day in advance. It was fantastic to be able to wake up at 7:20 AM and walk to the Humble Administrator's Garden or Lion Grove Garden in five minutes, beating the tour groups that swarm in by 8 AM without having to get up super early. The room design was very stylish, and all the amenities were excellent. The hairdryer was a Dyson with various attachments, and by the bathtub, there were bath liners, bath bombs, scented candles, and even face masks. The curtains automatically open or close with a simple pull. On the table, there was a tea set, tea leaves, and a fruit plate. On my first day, the front desk lady waited for me at the drop-off point for quite a while, and on the last day, when we checked out and stored our luggage, she waited until we finished sightseeing in the afternoon and picked up our bags before leaving. However, it's worth noting that some rooms on the second floor have rather steep stairs, so if you have mobility issues or very large and heavy luggage, it might be best not to book them. Also, while the room amenities are very complete, there was no body lotion – perhaps that's something they could consider adding."

Facilities: Smart toilet. Hygiene: Very clean, which is the most important thing. Environment: Quiet despite being in a lively area; I was a bit disappointed by the small front desk space when I arrived, but the rooms upstairs were a pleasant surprise. Service: Warm and friendly; the front desk helped deliver my takeout to the room, and key card access to the floors felt very secure. The owner's hospitality was wonderful – they gave great tips on transportation, dining, and what to avoid. Definitely a big plus!

We had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝

Four Seasons truly lives up to its name; from the facilities to the service, everything was impeccable. The service, in particular, was outstanding – they really spoiled us! It was my child's birthday, and they decorated the room with birthday wishes and even provided a cake. The room was spacious and had a lovely local flair, and the sofa easily converted into a large bed, making it very comfortable for sleeping with the kids. The hotel boasts both outdoor and indoor pools, and the breakfast quality was excellent – they even served alcoholic beverages in the morning, and the Suzhou-style noodles were delicious. The hotel's exclusive ”Jinghong Travel Photography” service was also great; they were punctual and patient, and the photos turned out beautifully. Highly satisfied! 👍

I brought my post-80s mom along, and the family suite we booked was excellent value for money. It had two small rooms, each with a 1.5m bed. The bathroom, though compact, was fully equipped, with a separate wet and dry area and a smart toilet. There was even a small outdoor terrace right by the entrance. Since it was the rainy season, the ground floor was a bit damp, but they provided a dehumidifier in the room. The service was great, and the location was perfect – Pingjiang Road was just a few steps away. The guesthouse entrance is also a popular spot for photos. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Suzhou.

Our villa had a king-size bed and a terrace right by the water. The room was spacious and well-designed, with all the amenities we needed. Elld at the front desk was always asking if we needed anything, and Chen Liang, the shuttle driver, was so thoughtful. He noticed I had a bit of trouble getting in and out of the shuttle and immediately offered me a footstool, which was really touching. The staff at the Chinese restaurant recommended a set menu that was delicious and generous; they even helped us pack up the leftovers to take back to our room and heated them up for us later that evening. They truly go above and beyond for their guests.

The hotel boasts beautiful scenery, making it perfect for a vacation. We arrived quite late on the first night, but check-in was seamless. Our butlers, Cindy and Yoyo, were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, and the shuttle service was always prompt. Breakfast was abundant; my only minor suggestion would be to improve the coffee beans. The staff in the activity room were also excellent, always responsive to our needs. The room itself was spacious. We had a three-bedroom villa, and both the living areas and bedrooms were huge. It could easily accommodate three families for a home party. Outside, there's a private pool and a hot tub, which unfortunately we didn't get to use this time, but I'd definitely like to try them on a future visit.

This hotel is only 700 meters from Taicang South Station, and it's a quick 20-minute ride from Hongqiao High-speed Rail, making it feel like Shanghai's backyard. Xiao Ru, a staff member, added me on WeChat beforehand and efficiently walked me through the activity schedule and various programs available on the mini-program. This allowed us to plan our kids' activities in advance. We went skiing in the afternoon. After dinner, around 7 PM, we hit the 'Snow Fun' area (the three-person 'Snow Fun' ticket was bundled with our hotel room package, which was a great deal). The hotel and ski resort are right next to each other, and there's even a little train shuttle service from the high-speed rail station to the hotel. The convenience factor is absolutely top-notch, making it super easy to just play and have fun. The breakfast was excellent. When we checked out, Xiao Ru even gave the kids Club Med mascots, which they absolutely loved!

This is my second stay at the Crowne Plaza Kunshan, and it's fantastic! It offers incredible value for money, and the location is excellent. There's a direct corridor from the hotel to Jiufang City, which makes dining and shopping super convenient. The hotel staff are also very welcoming and friendly. I really like the decor style too. All in all, I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Kunshan.

Banyan Tree, as always, is wonderfully secluded and comfortable! The butler, a lovely lady, upgraded our room again. And we even ran into Alice Xiaoxiao, the butler who assisted us during our stay last year – it was great to see her again! She proactively reached out before check-in to ask about our needs and was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The concierge service upon arrival was also very thoughtful. The courtyards, lush greenery, and water features are beautifully designed, offering a new picturesque view at every turn. The views from our room were truly refreshing and invigorating! Kids' toiletries were fully stocked, and the complimentary soft drinks were of good quality, not just an afterthought. The hotel also offers free activities like Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese exercise), cocktail making, and night runs! Overall, a very satisfying stay! Excellent value for money! **Dining:** The hotel's Baiyun Restaurant is also fantastic. Even though dinner was a set menu from a group deal, every dish was surprisingly delicious! It's a perfect alternative to the Rongsheng Restaurant next door, where you often have to queue for two hours if you don't want to wait. They've changed breakfast to a mostly buffet style, which can sometimes mean colder food with a less-than-ideal texture. However, they still offer à la carte service upon request, which is great! And the champagne was delicious! **Activities:** This trip, we came specifically to climb Lion Mountain, and we successfully reached the summit – the entire scenic area is very thoughtfully developed! Safety measures are also very well implemented! Whether looking out from the mountain or gazing at it from the hotel, it's a view within a view – perfect for photos! There are several well-designed buildings nearby, like museums and science centers, all within walking distance. The hotel key card provides direct access to Lion Mountain Park, and in the evening, they even offer transportation for a golf course tour. The park has added more activities since last year, including a mini-train, cycling, and boating. This year, we even tried kayaking – so much fun! We'll definitely be back next year! Our sincere thanks to Alice Xiaoxiao, our butler, who made our first stay enjoyable and our second even more comfortable. Also, a big shout-out to the handsome concierge who helped with our luggage! The auntie providing turn-down service gave our child small gifts and drinks, and the three lovely ladies at the bar patiently taught us cocktail making… All the hotel staff made us feel so warm and welcome. Looking forward to our next stay!

The hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.
