"This city hotel, with its views of the Shenzhen skyline from every angle, is my top pick for city views. The location, hotel amenities, surrounding facilities, and guest services are all exceptional. Many online reviews mention that the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are dated, but after staying there, I disagree. When the hotel first opened, it was very well-equipped, from the bathrooms to the decor, and even had iPads, which are usually only found at The Peninsula, making it quite convenient. If you're concerned about outdated hardware, you can opt for a suite or higher-category room, as it seems these have all been updated. I have two particularly strong impressions: 1) Due to a minor operational error by the hotel, I contacted the platform, and they connected me with the duty manager. The duty manager on the day of my check-in was very friendly, highly professional, and also quite personable and sincere. This was one of the best duty managers I've encountered at a St. Regis property. 2) When checking out, I left my luggage in the room, intending to have the concierge store it. However, after exchanging currency, I found it inconvenient to carry the cash and wanted to retrieve my wallet from my bag. The two concierges on the 1st floor responded quickly and were very professional. 3) When leaving the hotel and hailing a taxi, the driver didn't stop right at the entrance. "Excellent value, fantastic service, and a great location! I had a very pleasant stay at the Sentosa Taoyuan Hotel. This hotel is a hidden gem – it feels like a luxury boutique property but at a very reasonable price. The value for money is outstanding. The service truly made the difference. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A special shout-out to the young lady at the front desk who checked me in; she kindly gave me a free upgrade to the ”Elegant Suite.” The suite was spacious and comfortable, complete with a kitchen and a very functional desk that made working remotely a breeze. She also went out of her way to help me print an important document, which I really appreciated. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable, perfect for video calls. The location is another big plus – it's close to Shenzhen University, Taoyuan metro station, and the Bank of China. There are also plenty of great dining options nearby, including authentic Chinese restaurants and even a Burger King for a rare Western treat. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Shenzhen. "This hotel is incredibly convenient and well-thought-out, offering excellent value for money. Located right at Exit F of Houhai Subway Station, it boasts seamless subway access. The hotel entrance is rather inconspicuous; you take an elevator to the 13th floor for the lobby, and then switch elevators to reach your room, which adds a good layer of security. The room views are fantastic! Not only can you see the 'Big Corn' (a local landmark), but you can even spot the Shenzhen Bay Bridge. Surrounded by MixC Mall and Houhai Hui, it's in the heart of the most bustling area. Talent Park is just a short walk away, where you can stroll along the coastline and see the mangroves. We booked a room with two 1.5-meter wide beds, separated by a small nightstand. They could easily be pushed together to form a super-wide 3-meter bed, perfect for adults traveling with children. A particularly thoughtful feature is the separate small partition between the room's outer corridor and the bathroom, creating an additional door. This means early risers or those who want to stay up later won't disturb anyone sleeping in the main bedroom. While the decor seems simple, it includes heated mirror cabinets, a vanity mirror with a stool, a portable full-length mirror, and a safe, among other amenities. The outdoor view from the window is spectacular. The pool on the 12th floor feels like a sky pool, offering breathtaking scenery. From your window, you can even watch drones take off for food deliveries. Check-in and check-out were both very quick. Robot delivery service was efficient, and the overall service was excellent; they even accommodated a late check-out for me. Everything was great, including the cleanliness. It's definitely the top choice for business travelers or those needing transitional accommodation!"

"The room was great, very clean, definitely international five-star quality. The layout was well-thought-out, and the elevators were really convenient. What I particularly liked was how incredibly strong the air conditioning was right when you stepped into the lobby. It's easy to get around from here, and there's even a golf course view. "The hotel is great, and the location is super convenient, just a 500-meter walk to Sea World. The rooms are spacious with complete amenities, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The shower is also excellent with strong water pressure. The only downside is that Shenzhen is quite humid, and since our room was on a lower floor, there was a slight musty smell. We ran the range hood for a long time, but it still lingered a bit."

The location was great too, close to all the attractions, whether by metro or taxi. Overall, what really made this hotel experience stand out was the staff. Everyone, regardless of their role, was incredibly dedicated and friendly. For instance, Toey, who helped me check in, was super efficient and tried her best to get me into my room quickly, knowing I had an early flight and a child with me. Similarly, Leila, who assisted me when I decided to extend my stay, was very helpful. Even though it's an older hotel, the staff's warmth and enthusiasm really made up for it! 👍"
