"The hotel was undergoing renovations, so the exterior wasn't very appealing. Getting around Hakuba during the low season required using a local train, which is infrequent, but the hotel staff were very kind and gave me a ride. During the winter, there are buses running throughout the day, so it's important to research transportation options beforehand. The hotel food was delicious, filling, and impeccable."

"Ideal location. The rooms in the main building have bathrooms. The rooms are large. The view outside the window is beautiful. There is wifi. Parking is convenient. However, the drying room does not have much drying effect. The room has heating. The hotel is actually very good in all aspects. High cost performance. You can choose to add some small purse breakfast. Because I went skiing early in the morning, I had to add it. It is a Japanese breakfast. Don't expect too much in style."

"The bedding was supportive, and the food was on point. The room's soundproofing wasn't great, but the fridge was quiet, and there was a microwave. The afternoon sun made the room a bit stuffy, but thankfully the AC worked well, though it was a bit noisy. Looking forward to staying here again!"

The staff was incredibly friendly, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the onsen was excellent, with a window overlooking a small garden. The room was traditionally decorated, had everything you needed, and the futon was very comfortable. I was very happy with everything! If I come back to Huckabee, I'll definitely stay here!"

The room was spacious, with two futons already laid out for us and two more stored in the wardrobe, as this room was meant for up to four people. The heater/air conditioning worked well and could be adjusted individually, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was comfortable and included a relaxing bathtub. Overall, a very pleasant and convenient stay."

One of the coolest features is the ski/snowboard setup: there’s a dedicated locker room in the basement to store your gear, and the rental company actually comes to the hotel to pick everything up when you're done! No lugging equipment around. Also, don't miss the breakfast—it’s delicious—and the lobby has a unique touch with different flavors of infused water. A perfect stay for a ski trip!""
