Hotels with Breakfast in Hakuba

We made an overnight bus from Nagoya to Hakuba Happo. The hotel was about 10 minutes away from the station, but it was only 3 minutes away from the shuttle bus station to the snow park, which was quite close! The exterior of the hotel looks a bit old, but the interior is well maintained, and the service candidates are enthusiastic and enthusiastic from beginning to end. Although some staff members are not very good at English, they will always ask others for help, so there is no major problem in communication. The basement is a ski warehouse, which is convenient for storage. According to Japanese tradition, the hotel has prepared different slippers in the basement, lobby, dressing room, large bath, and even the shower room in the guest room, which is really meticulous at home. The guest rooms and the large lounge on the first floor are lined with tatami mats and sleep comfortably on the ground because the air conditioning is powerful. The hotel's meals are exquisite. Although there is no Chinese food, the sense of ceremony is still strong. I checked in with two fairy biscuits in the room. They were super delicious, so we bought a lot at the front desk and got discounts. We were very happy. The large bath has two large pools, indoor and outdoor, as well as a traditional sitting bath. The water is a natural hot spring, which is very good. Finally, we returned to Nagoya by JR, and the hotel took us to the hotel for free. The whole process was perfect.

Hotel La Vigne Hakuba was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel has a beautiful minimalist design and feels clean, cozy, and very welcoming. The room was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully designed with a very functional layout. The bedding was also very comfortable. The hotel also provides excellent facilities for skiers, including a dedicated storage and locker room for ski equipment, as well as a separate shower room where guests can freshen up and change after skiing on the day of check-out. Overall, a fantastic stay at Hotel La Vigne Hakuba — highly recommended.

The hotel is one kilometer away from the bus terminal, but there are small stops near the hotel to various ski resorts, which is very convenient. I booked a total of 5 nights, including meals. The quality of the guests is also very good, there is no loud noise, which is much better than the Europeans and Americans who later lived in the hotel! The boss is an old Japanese couple. They don’t talk much and may not always smile like other Japanese people, but in fact they love to help. After dinner every morning, they ask you where you plan to go today, and then pull you there. His map wall helps you plan your itinerary, and the hotel also has a lot of coupons or low-cost ski tickets for ski resort cooperation. Save a lot of expenses. After checking out, you need to change to another hotel. After the boss asks the address, he will send it to the next one, but there are still not many words 😁, thank you for your rigorous and lovely Japanese grandpa Very cost-effective, recommended!

The price is quite expensive during the snow season. The room with a big bed is 5000+, and adding a sofa bed is 300 more. This hotel is marked as a four-star hotel, but it is marked as a three-star hotel by Google search. It is not run by local Japanese people, and the sanitary environment is really average. The large bath is sticky, there are floating hairs in the pool, and towels are thrown everywhere. The room uses carpets, but the vacuuming is not thorough. I have to wear a mask and turn on the purifier to feel comfortable because of dust allergies. The breakfast is all European, without any Japanese soup or the like, and mainly cold food. I wanted to use the dryer, but when I entered, there were socks all over the floor, and the dryer was full of black hair. On the day of the pick-up, it was promised to arrive in 15 minutes, but I waited for 30 minutes and called again to say that there were other things on the way. Not recommended, if you want to come to Hakuba, it is recommended to book another hotel.

The location is very good, a few tens of meters away is a free bus stop, you can go to various ski resorts, the boss is very enthusiastic, can provide the village station shuttle and a lot of help you need, we stayed for three nights, arranged a two-story suite, The toilet kitchen living room is independent, the tatami is upstairs, very warm and warm, next time you choose to go here

This hotel is beyond my imagination. OMG ! The place was so amazing I chose Chalet with my family member 8 persons. They really in love with the place and all speak the same that we will definitely come back again ! The owner has a service to bring you to the supermarket at 4 pm everyday. That's awesome we can do cooking and enjoy precious meals with our family. There are not many houses here so it is the best option for anyone who looking for the cozy places and can also enjoy the wonderful snowy view. Wonderful Stay at Garden Pension Obogurgl We had an excellent experience at Garden Pension Obogurgl. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the Hakuba Goryu lifts, which made getting on the mountain super easy every day. The pension itself is cozy, clean, and peaceful, with a lovely garden that adds to the charm. Our room was warm and comfortable, with plenty of space for ski gear, and the communal areas had a relaxed, homely vibe. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with local tips and transport advice. We especially enjoyed being able to walk everywhere—whether it was to the nearby convenience stores, local restaurants, or just strolling among the beautiful pine trees. The large cherry blossom tree out the front added a special touch to the peaceful surroundings. If you're after a quiet, scenic, and welcoming place to stay in Hakuba Goryu, Garden Pension Obogurgl is a fantastic choice.

We have stayed at this hotel for the past two Decembers. Overall, it is reasonably priced, conveniently located near the ski resorts, and has a bus shuttle stop right in front that runs between the hotel and the ski areas. The onsen is a great bonus, especially after a day of skiing. However, I must say that the breakfast is not as good as last year, and the service has declined slightly compared to our previous stay. The open-air onsen is not as clean as before, and the indoor onsen also shows signs of neglect, with used towels piled in the corner.

Come to Hakuba Village Iwadake to see the autumn leaves. The air is fresh and there is a sense of open space. The place to stay is very warm and the landlord’s meticulous reception allows us to rest and regain our strength. Next time we will come to experience the good snow scene.

What an awesome experience! The hotel offered exemplary service before we even arrived. Due to special travel arrangements, we arrived late and the staff quick to arrange an in-room bento dinner for us before our arrival. When we got there, we were immediately blown away by the gorgeousness of the hotel. Despite its age, everything was very clean and polished. I can see that great care had been taken to upkeep the hotel and it’s premises, which are extraordinarily beautiful. We couldn’t resist taking pictures even after check-out, and it took us an hour to finally reluctantly leave. Words cannot actually do the place justice, you must visit there yourself. We were very impressed with how delicious the food was, and the attention to detail, including the placement of the food, the coordination of food color. My mouth is still watering as I recall how delicious it was. I had 10 helpings of their prime rib one day. Besides, I had a dietary restriction and the staff were really careful with that, to the extent of reminding me what dishes not to eat everyday at their breakfast and dinner buffet. In addition to excellent food and service, the hotel went out of its way to be very eco-friendly. For every day that we did not need our room to be tidied, we earned points, which can be traded in for ice cream or other goodies. Finally, the staff spoke perfect English. This is rare indeed, and it made everything so much easier and so much more enjoyable. Thanks for the experience!
