Really great location, just take the lift down one floor and you'll reach the departure hall. There's also a 24h mart. Perfect for early morning flight. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Check in process was a slight hassle but other than that, would definitely recommend if you have a flight to catch.

The suite is really large, the health is good, and the zero pressure bed is really comfortable.
All of the above are basically needed.
The most important thing is that the service is really good, and the robot delivers things very quickly. Some inappropriate requirements were made, and the front desk tried to meet them as much as possible.

Because of the high-speed rail ticket to Dali on the second day of booking, you need to stay in Kunming for one night. Trip.com I found a villa hotel. Staying feels good, the store service is warm. The environment is very good and the room is clean. Will come again next time!

Kunming Hengzhiyuan is the last stop of our trip, and it is also the most surprising hotel for us. The hotel is located on the bank of Dianchi Lake, just over 10 minutes' walk from the Dianchi Dam. The hotel is a Bai-style courtyard complex, with small bridges, waterside pavilions, and long pavilions. The corridor has a very beautiful environment ~ and the hotel’s rice noodles are very delicious🥰

Shanghe Daguan Hotel can definitely be described as ”elegant”.
Daguan Hotel is a small inn located in Daguan Park (Daguan Tower in the park is one of the four famous towers in China). The hotel is located not far from the entrance of the park, in a quiet corner. You don't have to walk far, and it is quiet and elegant. There are less than 10 rooms, and the room names are also very interesting: Quiet Room, Listening to the Rain Room, Contentment Room, Cool Room, No Obstacle Room...
The hotel is a homestay with the theme of tea culture. The decoration perfectly interprets the new Chinese style: the entire homestay is not large, but the public area is designed with ingenuity. The favorite is the outdoor courtyard. Pushing open the antique red wooden door, you will see a glass star room. At night, there is a bright moon hanging in the sky, which complements the big trees and glass houses. It is beautiful and quiet.
There are tea rooms, reading rooms, and small restaurants in the room. From the large glass windows of each room, you can see the beautiful scenery of the park from different angles; the tea room is full of various tea sets and tea cups, and the owner has a special taste in life. We stayed in the first-floor listening rain room and the barrier-free room, and there is a small space for drinking tea in the room.
Here, guests can find a place to sit down anytime and anywhere, drink tea, chat, read books, and be in a daze...
I especially want to praise the handsome guys such as Xiaozhu, the staff of the inn, who are busy from morning to night. In the morning, they are busy arranging exquisite and delicious nutritious breakfasts for everyone. In the evening, they carry baskets to deliver desserts door to door. When we left, they helped us carry our luggage. My sister just asked about their tea, and he also gave us a box of their own Yunnan red tea to taste. My sister was very surprised.

I was optimistic about the room in advance and booked this homestay early. I was quite satisfied. The decoration was beautiful. It was very close to Dianchi Lake. I could see the seagulls in a few minutes. After I checked in, I found that there were ps4 in the room. More than 100 games were really amazing. Advantages: good service! There are small foods to send. It is close to the Haitang Dam in a straight line. But if you want to go to places with many Haitang, you have to walk a few hundred meters forward.
Disadvantages: I wanted to book a hotel, but I still booked a homestay. It was not easy to find it from the gate of the community. The surrounding villas rarely stayed.
It is not convenient to eat around, but you can eat in the store. It is very close to the Xishan cable car here.

GGuest UserOverall, I like this hotel chain in general and would stay there again, both at this location and in other cities. This was not the first location for this chain that I have stayed at.
Location: The hotel is located in a fairly central location. It is very close to Green Lake, though you'll need a map in order to know that. It's across the street from a KFC, 711, and Starbucks, and around the corner from a Burger King. There are also quite a few shared bikes (both electric and not) available from several different companies in front of the hotel.
Amenities: Breakfast is available for an additional charge, and there is a laundry room. I used neither of these. The hotel room has a refrigerator and more than the standard two bottles of drinking water plus an electric kettle, tea set, two packets of tea, and some candy in a dish (that looked like it had been there for a very long time). This hotel chain is generally very good about giving you more water if you ask. The bed is very comfortable, the tv is huge, the shower is hot with good water pressure, and the room is clean overall. There were ink stains on the sofa, but no problems with the bedding. Some of the furniture/walls were starting to be in need of repair, but it's not a problem unless you're super picky.
Safety/Service: The front desk staff are always very nice and helpful and willing to answer any questions that you have, but you'll need to speak Mandarin or have a translator handy. English is limited or non-existent. I felt safe in my room, and I didn't worry about leaving things in my room that I generally keep on my person in other hotels. The maid was also very kind and helped me when I saw her in the hallway and asked for help with a small problem (that was totally just my ignorance and too embarrassing to mention!).
WIFI: Wifi is available, but there is no information about the network or password in the room that I could find. I went down to the front desk and the woman there put the password on my phone for me.
Quiet: Well, there were some very loud and very rude guests staying in rooms near me. I don't know what the hotel's response would have been as I didn't all the front desk to complain. It definitely could have been quieter. There was no noise from outside the hotel, though.
Problems: I stayed at this hotel three nights total but two times (one night at the beginning and two nights at the end of my trip). My second room at this hotel (when I stayed for two nights), there was a blinking light inside a grate in the ceiling that can only be seen when all the lights are out. It was really bothering me, and making it difficult for me to sleep. I called the front desk at approx. 12:30 in the morning, and they didn't quite understand my problem (completely due to my sub-par Mandarin), but they sent someone to take a look. The maintenance guy who came said he knew exactly what I was talking about once I pointed upward. He didn't need me to turn off the light and show him. He said there was nothing he could do. If they turned out that light, I would have no electricity in the room. He also said that it's like that in every room. I didn't remember seeing it in the first room I had stayed in at the beginning of my trip, and I also didn't remember it from when I had stayed for three nights at a different location. Whether it really exists in every room or not is here nor there, though it ought to be obvious that a blinking light that doesn't turn off when you turn all the lights off is a bad idea, and something ought to be done). It is possible that it exists in every room but that it's not visible from the bed in every room due to the placement of that grate.

DDexter50000I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel over the first week of September 2024 and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the hotel’s stunning aesthetic design. The blend of modern elegance with unique architecture created an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and welcoming.
The hotel is conveniently located next to a luxury mall with a supermarket in the basement where you can buy international groceries, pastries and fruits. Guests may also venture to other malls around the area or a night flea market that opens late into the night.
Buffet breakfast featured an extensive selection that included pastries, fresh fruits, pancakes, eggs cooked to order, and an array of dishes like congee with Yunnan spices. Food was good for a buffet spread, with staff ensuring that the buffet was well-replenished and clean.
What truly sets the hotel apart is its service. From the moment I arrived, staff was warm and attentive, ensuring that my every need was met. The front desk team was knowledgeable and eager to help. It was evident that the staff genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience for their guests.
Special mentions to Mila, who helped to facilitate the courier of my daughter's medicine, which I left behind at the hotel. Mila went out of the way to made sure that the medicine reached us on time. She kept us updated throughout the process. Communication was prompt and reassuring, which alleviated our worries.
Overall, I want to thank the hotel staff for making my stay a memorable one and I look forward to my return in future.

Pplushparadisecomfortable stay for a night stop over before an early flight the next day, it was a comfortable stay. the sheets were nice and soft. the toilet and showers are built such that they are individual cubicles, so the shower cubical doesn’t have any where to hang clothes/ towels, etc. all amenities provided, and there’s a laundry room with washer dryer to get your laundry sorted before continuing your trip.
shuttle bus to airport was 5am for a 7.40am flight, where it’s a “car pool” system, must book at time of check in.
night supper is a bowl of mien xian, basic. it’s a warm bowl to keep you going. there are no food options around outside of the building.

There are many local specialties shops and restaurants around within walking distance. Room decor and facilities are well-maintained. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Hotel breakfast has good options. I am very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. Will definitely choose to stay at this hotel the next time I visit Kunming. Highly recommend!

1. The homestay is in a villa area, and there are not many people staying in the whole villa area, so the environment is relatively quiet.
2. The Haigeng Dam is right outside the door, so it is convenient to feed seagulls.
Then the disadvantages:
1. The room we stayed in, Mandheling, was in the basement, with only one skylight, which was quite stuffy, reflecting the average experience.
2. The air conditioner host is above the skylight, which is very noisy, and the host roars all night.
3. There is a machine in the room, but there is no chair, so we called room service to bring it.
4. It may be because there are not enough waiters in the homestay during the Spring Festival, and the room service and dining have to wait for a long time. When I was having breakfast, the aunt kept saying, ”Please put the plate back after you finish eating, I am the only one.” Then the order of first come first served for customers is not very clear, and it is obvious that our breakfast was given to the customers who came later.
5. The bathroom is very small, and the washbasin splashes water seriously, basically you will get wet if you use water.
The above is my feeling, so I don't agree with the services of star-rated hotels on the Internet. I suggest that you still book a hotel if you travel with children.

MMaxGreat hostel! I felt like I got the royal treatment when I was there simply because I'm a rare foreign guest. Well, I'll take the privilege 😅. So in my particular case, from the moment I arrived they rolled out the red carpet. I made friends with the receptionist and we went to have dinner together right away lol. This never happened to me before haha. It was very nice. Then I was included in all kinds of social activities during my 4 day stay. We had lunch together with the owner, a very jovial guy, the receptionist and some random guests. It was very pleasant. We also went out for free clubbing and to the night market. Absolutely non commercial activities where we simply hung out as friends. Very cool! Definitely enriched my experience in Kunming by a lot. The facilities themselves were good. Everything was clean. It's a little bit cramped up in the apartment that's been made into dorms but it's ok because everyone is very considerate. There's only one bathroom so sometimes that can be annoying. It's a very high quality bathroom tho. I would definitely stay again for the atmosphere and the convenience of the location.

SSanyarat Mungklang , Thailand.The location is near the metro. It's just 5 minutes walk. Easy to find this property. The girl at the front desk when I checked in is enthusiastic to help me. She almost doesn't speak English but she's had a lovely service mind.
This property is so close to the green lake park. I spend the time from this hostel to the park just 4 minutes walk.
It's worth to stay here and the price can afford for the solo travelers who want to save cost like me.
