The downstairs of the community is very lively, open a variety of small shops, a wide range of goods, 13 yuan fast food to eat, a variety of desserts, fried rice, noodle shops have... The Internet cafe is a bit expensive, the hall is 9 yuan an hour... The youth hostel wants to live in a 4-person Xinglan room, clean, one bedroom and one bathroom. Good luck, I can live in one room alone, I am lucky, other rooms are almost full, I live in the room alone, sleep very sweet. Let me say it first, the living room is small, this youth hostel man's Xinglan room is very good, but I have a general eye for other rooms. Even if the eight-person room is crowded, it is not sure what people are meeting. It costs ten yuan to live in a comfortable place."

GGuest UserNot really a youth hostel but someone's high rise flat filled with beds on 7th floor. Excellent location near to railway station but difficult to find on the map and you need to ring the owner who doesn't speak English. I've added the photo of the entrance doorway and amended map but you still need to ring the owner to get access. Cramped, only one bathroom for a lot of people, but kitchen with kettle and living area, good budget accommodation for a night, I wouldn't stay here longer.

KKa-LaLaLaIt is our own fault but we did not realise that this was so far out of the city and at the entrance gate of a cultural Stockade. The host was helpful but there was a bit of an odour from the bathroom.  if your purpose to stay here is to see the cultural stock then this would be a good location but there are no restaurants nearby.  There was a nice view from our window of the lake and some beautiful traditional architecture to walk around and see in the area.

GGuest UserHow could the landlord be more handsome? the answer is too difficult .Because he is too perfect anyway. I have never seen such a stylish and delicate youth hotel with so many amazing design considerations. Such as the dinning hall and audition room and the doors .The doors can be folded in pieces .Every detail show the urbane taste of the landlord ,or you can say the ”boss ”. you may find more amazing details by yourself . Yong people like to take some fresh ideas of room design .But some details still need to be considered or altered such as my bed is half closed on my right side .There is only a drape between the third bed and mine. My glasses were incidentally dropped off on the ground .And the audition room is too exceptional ,i like it very much .

GGuest UserGreat hostel! I felt like I got the royal treatment when I was there simply because I'm a rare foreign guest. Well, I'll take the privilege 😅. So in my particular case, from the moment I arrived they rolled out the red carpet. I made friends with the receptionist and we went to have dinner together right away lol. This never happened to me before haha. It was very nice. Then I was included in all kinds of social activities during my 4 day stay. We had lunch together with the owner, a very jovial guy, the receptionist and some random guests. It was very pleasant. We also went out for free clubbing and to the night market. Absolutely non commercial activities where we simply hung out as friends. Very cool! Definitely enriched my experience in Kunming by a lot. The facilities themselves were good. Everything was clean. It's a little bit cramped up in the apartment that's been made into dorms but it's ok because everyone is very considerate. There's only one bathroom so sometimes that can be annoying. It's a very high quality bathroom tho. I would definitely stay again for the atmosphere and the convenience of the location.

AAnonymous UserIt was okay. It's right by a subway exit and close to Kunming First Affiliated Hospital, making it very convenient for getting around. You can also catch a bus to the park. The room hygiene was fine. There's a courtyard downstairs with some plants, so there were quite a few mosquitoes.

GGuest User[Room] The room should be newly renovated and parking is convenient next to it. We booked a twin room, which was not very big, but was enough for a hot spring bath. It was quite quiet outside the window. [Hot Spring] The hot spring water is very hot, the water quality is yellowish, and it is very comfortable to soak in. The only thing is that the pool in the twin room is a bit small, and can only accommodate one adult and one child at a time. If you need suggestions for a larger pool, look at other room types. 【Suggestion】Install a safety lock on the room door.

GGuest UserThis hostel is really great and the boss is good. I highly recommend everyone especially foreigners to make contact with the boss prior to arriving so you don’t get lost like me🤣🤣. I called the boss via trip.com app, and he replied to me straight away. He is very good at responding and quickly helped me. The hostel is thoroughly cleaned and has a kitchen. The location is great. The boss also recommended me some places I can visit in Kunming.

GGuest UserA very, very good stay experience. The boss is a very kind person. He patiently answered all the big and small questions one by one. It is very, very good! In terms of the environment, it is very, very, very clean. There are volunteers cleaning every day. The boss said that the volunteers are very good in all aspects. Clean carefully. The bathroom is also very clean, white and bright with no peculiar smell! The roommates I met are all very friendly and quality people! When I traveled to Kunming this time, I felt a lot of goodwill and enthusiasm, and I ate a lot of delicious food. I want to cry when I think about leaving here and going back to a food desert. AAnonymous UserWe stayed here only around three hours while waiting for 7am train. I would say if you are a budgeted travelers and don’t mind the bathroom only covered with curtains and no doors toilet, then this is the perfect place for you. Very near Kunming Train Station, like four to five minutes walk from motel. Check in was easy.
