The room was decent, well-equipped, and the cleanliness was satisfactory. The environment was especially good; vibrant streets were right downstairs, yet the hotel upstairs was surprisingly quiet, which was very convenient. Within about 100 meters downstairs, there are many breakfast shops, making it super easy to grab meals and snacks. There are also two large shopping malls right below, which I loved for their convenience. I just forgot to take pictures when I left!

The location is super convenient, really close to all the snack streets. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast quality was excellent! 👍 The service was also great, very patient and thoughtful. 👍 And the late-night congee service was a unique touch, and tasted really good! 👍

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Jinbi Hall Hotel. The service here is absolutely outstanding from start to finish: Seamless Arrival & Departure: When we first arrived at the DiDi drop-off location, the hotel staff was already there waiting for us to help carry our luggage to the property. On our check-out day, they went above and beyond again, escorting us and carrying our heavy bags all the way back to the DiDi pickup point. Muslim-Friendly Breakfast: They were incredibly accommodating with our specific dietary requests and ensured we had a breakfast suitable for Muslims, which we deeply appreciated. Incredibly Helpful Staff: While there is no microwave in the rooms or a shared kitchen, the staff was more than happy to reheat our food for us whenever we asked. Perfect for Prayers: The front desk team communicates flawlessly through the app and kindly granted us a late check-out so we could peacefully complete our prayers before our flight. Fantastic Location: It is perfectly situated on Nanping Pedestrian Street, and there are plenty of halal restaurants and food options right around the vicinity. I highly recommend Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kunming Guandu! The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Kunming Railway Station, making it perfect for travelers catching high-speed trains for transfers. Traveling with my child this time, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a family room, which was incredibly heartwarming. The room was spacious and clean, with thorough housekeeping. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and the hot water pressure was stable. The soundproofing in the high-floor rooms was good, allowing for a peaceful rest. After we finished the complimentary bottled water, we contacted the front desk, and they promptly refilled it. They also proactively provided extra bottles for our extended stay the next day, showing meticulous and attentive service. The amenities are very practical, including a self-service laundry room and a gym, which are super convenient for long journeys. The check-in process at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were friendly. Downstairs, there are many convenience stores and various snack shops, making it very easy to find food and groceries. The hotel's facilities are brand new, and it offers great value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next transfer in Kunming. Truly recommended!

This hotel is truly excellent! The location is superb, right behind the train station, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's incredibly good value for money at this price. Every room has a full-length mirror, perfect for taking photos. The hotel's decor is beautiful and very Instagrammable. The staff are super responsive to messages, and the front desk team, both the guys and girls, were incredibly nice. Thank you all so much; my stay was very satisfying. I really enjoyed staying at your hotel. The view is also great, you can even see the Twin Towers!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Service and Excellent Location I had a wonderful stay at Crystal Orange Hotel in Kunming. I arrived quite late at around 6:30 pm, and my booked room wasn't ready yet The staff handled the situation very professionally. They offered me a larger room without a bathtub, but since I preferred the room I had booked, they kindly let me rest in the larger room for about 45 minutes while they prepared my preferred room. I really appreciated their flexibility and thoughtful service. Once my room was ready, it was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I wanted. The location is another huge advantage. The hotel is just next to Shuncheng Mosque, with plenty of halal restaurants and food options within walking distance. It was incredibly convenient, especially for Muslim travellers. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Their excellent customer service and fantastic location made a great impression, and I would happily stay here again.

I stayed for 5 days this time, and the overall experience was much better than I expected. The hotel is right inside the pedestrian street, surrounded by bustling businesses. It's super convenient for dining, shopping, and getting a taxi. Right behind it is Shuncheng Shopping Mall, which has lots of great restaurants, and I even managed to snag a new colorway of Salomon sneakers there! In front, there's another mall where you can buy the famous BA bagels downstairs. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Kunming Old Street, and another 15 minutes further will get you to Cuihu Lake – perfect for tourists or those staying long-term. Guest rooms are on the 5th and 6th floors. You need a key card to access them, and food deliveries are brought up by a robot, which makes you feel quite secure. The only minor issue is that because the hotel is on a pedestrian street, taxis can't drop you right at the entrance. You have to walk about 50 meters with your luggage, but the path isn't difficult, so a standard suitcase is fine. The room was very clean and much more spacious than I imagined. All three of my suitcases could be laid out completely without any problem. The room type I booked even had a sofa and a small table, which was perfect as I worked there for all 5 days and didn't even need to find a coffee shop. The bedding was very comfortable, leading to a good night's sleep. The amenities were also quite comprehensive, with a 'Xiaodu' smart assistant, which is great for lazy people 😄. Plus, the room surprisingly had a refrigerator, which was a huge bonus! Aside from mineral water, they also provided a can of Coke and a can of Sprite every day. Housekeeping replenished drinks, tea bags, coffee, and disposable toiletries daily, regardless of whether you’d used them all the day before. As a result, after my 5-day stay, I still had 6 cans of soda left when I checked out! One small problem was that there was no direct way to contact the front desk from the room. There was no phone, and the Xiaodu assistant couldn't call the front desk. I had to use my own mobile phone or go upstairs to the front desk in person. The soundproofing of the room itself was actually pretty good, but it just so happened that during my stay, some other guests often came back very late and were talking and making noise in the hallway. Eventually, around the third day, I couldn't take it anymore and called the front desk. They did come up to check and handle the situation, which was pretty good. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Kunming.

I booked this hotel because of a special offer, but it completely exceeded my expectations! It turns out to be a brand-new hotel, everything inside is new, very clean and hygienic. You can confidently sleep without covers, no problem. Personally, I think staying in a newly opened hotel is even better than a 5-star hotel because of the cleanliness and peace of mind it offers. But what I recommend even more is its location. It's conveniently located in the center of Kunming, right below the famous Nanqiang Street. It's very close to the snack street and several city attractions, just a few minutes' walk away. There are several pedestrian streets nearby with lots of local specialty snacks, so you can easily find delicious food just a short stroll away. Across the street, there are a few trendy, highly-rated restaurants with good food. The area is lively in the evenings, making it super convenient to explore, eat, and drink. With a hotel like this at such a price, I believe smart travelers wouldn't want to miss it.

This Republic of China-style hotel offered a fantastic overall experience. The vintage decor created a wonderful atmosphere. The room was tidy and clean, and the bed was soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. All the hotel's amenities were well-equipped. Everything was great, with the only minor drawback being that the dryer in the public laundry room wasn't working very well. I hope the hotel can have it checked and repaired. The thoughtful floral touches throughout the room really showed the owner's dedication, creating a truly homely atmosphere. The bathroom was also large, with a separate wet and dry area, and that huge makeup mirror was a definite plus! There's even a washing machine and a smart toilet that was pleasantly warm – definitely a nice touch. For just over 100, finding a guesthouse like this felt like a steal! The only minor thing was having to pay extra for disposable bath and face towels, but I brought my own anyway. Plus, they offer free luggage storage for the next day, which was super convenient. There are plenty of places to eat and things to do nearby, making it a very convenient location. I highly recommend trying the braised chicken rice noodles downstairs – absolutely delicious!
