Guest UserI traveled Malaysia for 12 days and stayed at 4 different Airbnbs and hotels. I interacted with many service staff, including those at supermarkets, convenience stores, and taxis, but the hospitality at Sama-Sama Hotel was truly exceptional. Everyone was so pleasant and cheerful; I was surprised to receive service on par with Japan (lol). Although it's directly connected to the airport, their shuttle service was incredibly helpful. Choosing it for the last day of my trip was definitely the right decision. The room was more compact than any other hotel I stayed at during this trip, but it was clean, comfortable, and pleasant.

EugenieeeThe stay was decent overall. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location, with plenty of food options nearby, so there's no need to dine at the airport or Mitsui Outlet Park unless you prefer to. There's also a convenience store within the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel offers self-check-in kiosks, and the security guard was friendly and helpful in guiding guests through the process. However, the kiosk system could be improved, as there was a noticeable delay between steps which made the check-in process feel slower than expected. Guests can also book the airport shuttle service at RM15 per person, which is a convenient option for traveler (can email enquire first). As for the room, the amenities were adequate for a short stay. However, only a hand and body wash was provided, with no separate shampoo available. The bathroom was quite compact, but still functional and sufficient for one person to use comfortably.

My stay at Sama-Sama Express KLIA Terminal 1 left a clear impression: it's a hotel designed for transit passengers needing a short rest, and its convenience is exceptional.
🧼 Hygiene: 4/5
Though the room wasn't large, it was quite clean, and both the bedding and bathroom were well-maintained. There were no unpleasant odors, making for a comfortable stay. Given its location within the airport's restricted area, this level of cleanliness was actually better than expected.
🤝 Service: 4/5
The front desk staff were efficient, which is crucial for transit passengers. Checking in late at night wasn't an issue; the whole process was smooth. Their service style was more efficiency-focused, but they were helpful with any inquiries.
🛏️ Facilities: 4/5
The in-room facilities cater primarily to basic rest needs. The space isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate for a quick sleep and shower. Soundproofing was average; you could occasionally hear other travelers passing by. However, considering it's inside an airport, this is understandable.
📍 Location: 5/5
The location is arguably its biggest advantage. It's right inside KLIA Terminal 1's restricted area, eliminating the need to go through immigration, customs, and then travel back and forth. This is incredibly convenient for those with red-eye flights, long layovers, or early morning departures ✈️.
📝 Overall Impression
This type of airport express hotel really caters to a specific need. If you're just looking for a place to shower and catch a few hours of sleep, it's perfectly sufficient. While it's not a luxurious stay, being able to rest directly within the restricted area genuinely saves a lot of energy. For long-haul travelers, its practicality is very high 👍.

Guest UserI stayed at this hotel for the first night of my 4-day trip to Kuala Lumpur because it's close to the Pink Mosque. However, overall, the facilities and service barely met the minimum standards.
1. Perhaps locals are used to water heaters having a separate power switch, but as a first-timer in Malaysia, I clearly didn't know. After 2 minutes, the warm water turned cold, which was very unhelpful.
2. Breakfast was just passable.
3. This was the first time I've encountered an air conditioner's outdoor unit installed *inside* the room. As you can clearly see from the pictures, a corner was occupied by this noise source, and the noise was very noticeable when trying to sleep.

Farrah SalwanaPleasant stay, few km drive away to Putrajaya for my marathon event. Parking was limited due to sharing with shopping mall parking. Check in/out was smooth, very accommodative staffs. Great facilities, water dispenser available outside the room. Iron & ironing board provided in the room. It is connected with the shopping mall. Easy to move around. Overall it was a perfect stay.

Nur Izzati MustapaI found that the main door was not functioning properly. I only realised this on the second day of my stay, when I discovered that the door could be opened without using the access card. Fortunately, there was no loss of belongings or any security incident.
The water taps were also confusing. At the sink, the blue indicator was for hot water and the red indicator was for cold water. However, in the bathroom, it was the opposite — red for cold water and blue for hot water.
Since I have stayed here several times before, I would also suggest that the hotel provide a floor mat in front of the bathroom and sliding door area. As the pool is within walking distance, guests often return with wet feet. Only one towel was provided, so I had to use the same towel both as a foot mat in front of the bathroom and to wipe my feet after coming back from the pool.
In addition, there seemed to be some stains on the bedsheet.
Nevertheless, I still enjoy staying here because the pool is very convenient and located nearby. 🫶

MemeyyEverything is okay. Nothing to complain except that there’s no iron and ironing board provided in the room. There’s an iron steamer outside the corridor that can be used by everyone. Location is great. Buka pintu lobby terus masuk dpulze. Getting food is easy. Mynews pun just next door. But parking berbayar. RM5 per day, multiple entrance.

They moved me to a room on another floor because the upper floors don't have wifi. Because they're renovating after years of Chinese ownership, I think they didn't realize they had never cleaned the room. They put in the new furniture, mattress, and bedding, but they hadn't actually cleaned the room. The room was quiet. The younger woman's attitude at the front desk isn't my favorite.
