Guest UserThis is my second stay here, and it truly is Xiamen's best landmark with the most stunning views. I fall in love with it every time! The room is spacious, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking vista. Soaking in the tub while watching the sunset over the sea in the evening creates an incredibly romantic atmosphere. The room cleaning is meticulous, amenities are of superior quality, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful and restful stay. The staff's service is perfectly balanced – warm, professional, and attentive. A special thanks to our butler, Joni, who was incredibly thoughtful and caring, making us feel truly welcomed. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth. Breakfast is also very rich, a delightful fusion of Chinese and Western dishes, including local Shacha noodles, Southern Fujian snacks, and Jian'ou Guangbing (biscuits). The high-altitude heated swimming pool and executive lounge experience are fantastic. The location is uniquely advantageous, within walking distance to Shapowei Art Zone and very convenient for reaching Huandao Road and Nanputuo Temple. Highly recommended!

Guest UserThis stay was absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were so warm and patient, and check-in was super quick. The lady who helped me was gentle and polite, making communication a breeze. The hotel environment was clean and tidy, offering a high level of comfort overall. It's also conveniently located. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

ShenfenguizhongzhuoneOur stay was absolutely perfect, a big thank you to everyone! The welcome fruit, both in appearance and taste, was the best I've ever had at any hotel. The breakfast buffet offered delicious local specialties, especially the peanut soup, which was fantastic. The executive club restaurant served exquisite and tasty dishes, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive, quickly remembering guests' names – such details made us feel truly valued and pleasantly surprised. Our room was also spotlessly clean. I met a staff member (not sure of his exact role) in the elevator who gave us incredibly objective and helpful recommendations for nearby beaches, which greatly assisted our travel plans. From check-in to luggage storage and check-out, all the staff were consistently friendly and gentle. The little cartoon room key card added endless fun to our children's Xiamen trip. Thank you! And finally, a special shout-out to the koi in front of the lobby – they are super cute! 🥰

Anonymous UserThe hotel's location is a bit far from the attractions, but since we were driving, it wasn't a big issue. There aren't any shopping areas within walking distance; you have to walk a bit to find some hustle and bustle. The room was spacious, and they kindly upgraded us to a sea-view room, which had a fantastic view. The only thing I have to complain about is the swimming pool. It felt like it was outsourced and completely lacked the service you'd expect from a star-rated hotel. Every shower stall reeked of urine, and after I told the attendant, she just sprayed some air freshener. The towels weren't laid out either; when I asked, the attendant told me to go find them myself in the utility room. The hairdryer's outlet also looked quite unsafe. This is a big deduction of points.

We loved this hotel. Got a wonderful upgraded suite with a great sea view on the 22nd. floor. Liked the hotel so much we stayed an extra day. Breakfast lots of choice and great coffee. Staff service is exceptional. Short stroll to the Gulangyu island ferry. I recommend the tram ride around the island. Only a few blocks walk to a main street with bakeries and small restaurants as well. Would definitely stay here again

Iain13This is a duplicate of my review for dates from 6 to 8 June 2026, as I extended my stay for one night.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay here again.
The location is excellent. It's right next to the metro, directly across the road from China City Mall, and within easy walking distance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, the waterfront and the ferry wharf. It made exploring Xiamen incredibly easy.
The staff were consistently helpful and efficient. They obtained information about the Xiamen-Kinmen ferry, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast restaurant staff deserve special mention as they were always friendly, welcoming and genuinely seemed pleased to see their guests each morning.
The room itself was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was excellent and while I didn't use the bath, the shower was very good. The hotel also has a nice swimming pool, gym and lounge area, all of which added to the overall experience.
Breakfast was good, with plenty of choices, both Asian and Western, and a pleasant atmosphere.
I only intended to stay a short time, but enjoyed both the hotel and Xiamen enough that I extended my stay by an extra night. From my room I had good views, including Zheng Chenggong's statue on Gulangyu Island and Xiamen's Twin Towers in the distance.
This hotel certainly helped make my stay in Xiamen an enjoyable one. I left with very positive memories and would gladly stay here again.

HuakanbankaidefengThis five-star hotel feels like it's lost its luster, with only the name and structure remaining. The facilities are definitely dated, and the room had a strong carpet odor. The bathroom, however, was reasonably well-maintained, and the shower head provided a consistent and comfortable flow. When I arrived around 12 PM, check-in took ages due to long queues. To my surprise, my 'sea view' room faced a statue directly; I had to lean out the window and look left just to glimpse the ocean. Thinking it was still early, I asked the front desk if there was a room with a better view in the same category. From 1 PM to past 2 PM, I asked twice, and both times they said no rooms were ready yet and I'd have to wait.

Guest UserAn ideal choice for families with young children, with impeccable attention to detail and unbeatable convenience!
This stay truly exceeded our expectations! First off, the room was incredibly spacious. What impressed me most was the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom and bedroom – after putting the baby to sleep at night, we could comfortably wash up and pack our bags without worrying about disturbing them. This design is so thoughtful for families with kids.
The hotel amenities are also quite comprehensive. Not only is there a bathtub, but also a private pool, and our child absolutely loved playing in the water. Even better, the hotel is super close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. Taking the kids to explore the beach and dig in the sand was incredibly convenient, and going back and forth multiple times a day was no problem at all. Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious, satisfying both adults and children. All in all, it was an impeccable and delightful trip. Highly recommended with five stars, we'll definitely be back!

G-Y-QIt's the off-season in Xiamen, so hotel prices were relatively cheap, and they upgraded me to a sea-view room. Breakfast was at the Marriott and had a great variety. This is my third time staying at this hotel... However, today when I tried to extend my stay, the front desk deliberately made things difficult, which was a bit frustrating.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent. It's very convenient for getting around, with Zhongshan Road Ferry, the seafood market, and Heping Wharf all nearby. You can walk to Nanputuo Temple and Xiamen University in just three minutes, or take a bus from right outside the hotel. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the facilities were very complete and smart.
