Beach Hotels in Xiamen

This hotel is closest to Piano Wharf and not far from Sanqiutian Wharf. It's very close to the shore, yet tucked away in a quiet spot. On the way, you'll pass the Gulangyu Museum. My room was on the first floor and was well-decorated and very clean. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

I had a very satisfying stay this time. The hotel's overall environment is excellent, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the swimming pool is also great. Staff helped with luggage both upon arrival and departure, which was a very thoughtful service. I particularly liked the hotel's WeChat concierge service. You can just contact them directly via WeChat for any needs, and they respond and handle requests very promptly, which is extremely convenient. I informed them in advance that we would be arriving very early in the morning, and they made suitable arrangements for us as soon as we got to the hotel! Overall, from the environment and facilities to the service, everything felt very comfortable. I will definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Xiamen! 👍

Extremely satisfied! 1. I originally planned to check in and drop off our luggage before taking my child out, but my child fell asleep on the way 😂. A big thanks to Gemma for contacting housekeeping. Even though our reserved room wasn't ready at around 12 PM, she found another room for my child to rest in. I'm very grateful! We were also allowed a late check-out until 1:30 PM today. They truly tried their best to meet our needs when it was possible. 2. The front desk staff didn't constantly push for room upgrades, unlike what some other reviews mentioned. They didn't even bring it up once. 3. The room was very spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the large bathtub was, as always, my child's favorite. Photo 1 is the city view room used for resting, and the back is the sea view room.

I couldn't wait to write a review on my first day here! Even though I don't know how the rest of my stay will go, from the moment I walked in, the warm welcome from the staff, the decor and style of the hotel, and the feeling I got when I entered my room, all make me feel this is an excellent hotel and a top choice for a trip to Xiamen. During check-in, the staff first asked us to add the hotel's customer service manager on WeChat. They told us that we could contact him with any issues during our stay, and he would respond 24/7. Since it was my first time here and I wasn't familiar with the area, I asked the front desk several questions about nearby dining and tourist attractions. The front desk staff were incredibly patient and provided helpful answers, even offering many very sound suggestions. Thumbs up! The hotel's location is very close to Zhongshan Road. Although Zhongshan Road is a commercial area, the local atmosphere nearby is also very rich. Besides the shops, you can see a lot of local life. This hotel offers better value for money than the Ruijing next door and is conveniently located at an intersection. For tourists exploring Xiamen on foot, saving those few steps is truly important, haha! I think if I come to Xiamen again, I will 100% book this hotel.

I stayed in Xiamen for 4 days, and at the Wyndham for 2 of them. I'm glad I didn't extend my stay for the last two nights as I had originally planned. First of all, the room decor was acceptable, but I couldn't tolerate that it's marketed as a family-friendly hotel 🏨 yet doesn't provide bed rails. The kids' club facilities were also quite old, and they didn't even have the air conditioning on. Most importantly, the bedsheets and duvet covers had an odor. Even the new set they brought had an odor. For a hotel of this price, this is unacceptable. Other services were okay. The breakfast selection was also just average.

The room had a large bed and a small bed, which was enough for our family of five (2 adults and 3 children). The environment was elegant and the soundproofing was good. There was also a mini-fridge in the room, perfect for storing fruits and drinks. The kids loved the pool downstairs. The only downside was the TV; it wasn't connected to the internet, so we couldn't choose what we wanted to watch. The hotel's location is excellent, with many attractions nearby, making it convenient for shopping and dining!

We received excellent service throughout our stay. Alex at the from desk was especially helpful and even gave us a complimentary upgrade to a spacious sea-view room in the middle section of the hotel. The room was very large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is also in a fantastic location, within walking distance of Bashi Food Street and Zhongshan Road. We had some trouble purchasing ferry tickets to Gulangyu Island online, the hotel staff Jimmy kindly helped us purchase the tickets. The Xiamen Pullman Shimao Hotel is quite good. The entire hotel is massive, and upon arrival, it feels like stepping into a French chateau. The hotel is divided into three areas: Xihai, Ruihai, and Yihai Town. This time, I stayed in Xihai. The hotel lobby is grand and impressive, with a magnificent dome. The staff were also good; they helped carry my luggage to the lobby as soon as I got out of the car. The front desk staff were efficient, and check-in was quick. In particular, a lady with glasses in the lobby provided excellent service; she was very helpful and explained everything in detail. She was probably a supervisor, though I didn't catch her name. The hotel room was spacious; as soon as I opened the door, the curtains automatically drew back, revealing a view of the ocean. The room was roomy, comfortable, clean, and tidy. The bathroom was also large, with a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub. The two sinks were particularly convenient. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The hotel is close to the sea, just a few minutes' walk to Rainbow Beach. The hotel offers both an indoor heated pool and an outdoor infinity pool to choose from. You can enjoy the beach or swim in the hotel's pools. There are also several children's play areas. Every corner of the hotel feels incredibly picturesque, especially Yihai Town, where every short walk reveals a new theme. It's fantastic for families with children and for ladies who love taking photos. The entire hotel is genuinely huge; I feel like I haven't even explored it all. I'll definitely come back to stay again, and next time I'll try Ruihai for a different experience. There was one minor issue: the hairdryer plug in the bathroom kept falling out and didn't stay securely. That needs to be addressed. Overall, the hotel is still very good. The Pullman is a hotel I would happily return to.

The hotel's location is excellent, directly across from London Docklands with a main road right outside, making taxis easily accessible. It's also just a 3-minute walk to Zhongshan Road No. 8 Market. The room was clean, the environment beautiful, and the facilities comprehensive and smart. You can control the lights and air conditioning with just a voice command to 'Xiao Du Xiao Du,' no need to get up.

Excellent hotel for families with kids! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and patient with the little ones. Both the public areas and the rooms were spotlessly clean, which gave us great peace of mind. Highly recommend to any family looking for a child-friendly stay!
