"This hotel is part of a chain, so you can count on the quality being consistent across the board. Its prime location in the heart of the old town makes it incredibly convenient for walking to the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, and the River Avon. Despite early May not being peak season, the hotel was quite popular with a high occupancy rate. Breakfast is served on the ground floor in the lobby, and while it can get very busy during peak hours, it's always well-organized. They offer a full English breakfast with all the usual trimmings. The rooms aren't small, but trying to open and lay flat two 28-inch suitcases might feel a bit cramped. We booked two twin rooms and one double room, staying for two nights, and found all the services to be excellent – clean, tidy, and quiet."

"The room is in need of general updating, the window needs a good scrub, and the squeaky floorboards...However, the room layout is perfect for three proper single beds as we had wished for, and it is clean and well equipped. Tim at the Reception Desk is the perfect reason to stay at Royal Hotel! Of course the lady who cleaned the rooms is exceptionally responsive and caring. Makes the wet 2-day Bath experience so 'sunny' to us! Thank you Royal Hotel!"

"What a fabulous hotel this is. The location, parking (rare in Bath), the attentive friendly staff and the quality of the room made our stay an exceptional one. We were visiting the Roseate Villa for our sons graduation and on arrival we had our room upgraded to a suite so we could invite our son over to get ready and have a few drinks to help celebrate this special occasion. The only disappointment is we hadn't stayed here before because if we had this would of been our go to Hotel when visiting Bath. We will definitely be returning."

My friend hurt her foot while visiting Bath, the hotel staff sent ice packs and helped us call a taxi to the hospital. The restaurant is also very good, I like the lasagna, I think it is the best"

"The hotel's logo is unclear, the exterior photos are inconsistent with the ones listed online, and it is difficult to find it by car. The booked room was completely different from the one introduced on xc, and was smaller in size. You have to send an email before checking in. It will be troublesome if you don't check in at the specified time. The location of the hotel is pretty good, about 16 minutes' walk from the scenic spot. The interior decoration of the room is very elegant, and the breakfast has many varieties and is delicious."

"Small luxury hotel I feel relieved to see that it is SLH, but it is unusually understaffed. From check-in to dining in the restaurant, you have to wait, wait, wait. If you don’t understand English, please don’t come. Most of the employees look like college students who work part-time and cannot solve the problem alone. question. The restaurant and bar are good, the room is very big, you need to take the stairs to the first floor, and the bathroom is half a floor up. The swimming pool is small and there are many people. There is a sauna, but it was useless because the temperature was 30 degrees on the day of arrival. Charging the tram is also very funny. It took a long time to fully charge it."
