Our room the next morning included 2 breakfasts, we were 3 big and 1 small, the boss was very good, and sent an extra one If you drive up, it is a one-way street, especially steep. If you are not used to driving, it is recommended to arrive at the homestay early. Although I decided to drive down by myself later, the boss asked the staff to drive behind our car intimately and kept sending us down the mountain. This is the fourth Lostvilla I've visited, and it's actually quite close to the first one (Biyu branch) – so close that I even recognized the Heytea store in Anji County where I placed an order last time. If the Biyu branch represents the original vision, where you could see the founder meticulously documenting every step of his renovation, transforming an old house into a wondrous frame, then the Green Gables branch signifies the transition from an agrarian civilization to an industrial one, entering the steam age. Lostvilla now boasts a mature and replicable business model and values – likely fueled by capital (my guess) – evolving from a personal passion or sentiment into a brand, and thereby rallying a team to consistently pursue a shared goal day in and day out. Thanks for helping me sort out my room (yes, I cleverly arrived early to check in). I also recommend the 'Dragon's Haunt Rafting' which is about a 10-minute drive from the hotel – I'd call it another 'steam age' version of a tourism product, haha.

This is basically the Anji version of Nara! The guesthouse has various themed hot springs, and you might even stumble upon free-roaming deer – super therapeutic! ❤️🩹 We booked a private hot spring room facing the mountain, and the view was absolutely stunning. The room came with a projector, and the entire guesthouse is surrounded by bamboo forests. Waking up to bird song and the sound of the stream in the morning was pure bliss. The breakfast wontons were incredibly delicious. Definitely another reason to visit Anji!

I asked the B&B in advance if they could order a cake. I recommended a good handmade cake shop that would deliver it to your door the next day. I recently traveled to Anji with my family and stayed at the Anji Old Forest Hotel. The experience was absolutely amazing, I had to share! The hotel is located halfway up a mountain, surrounded by lush bamboo groves. The air is filled with a subtle bamboo fragrance, and the negative ions are incredibly abundant; every breath felt like a spa treatment for my lungs. The butler was exceptionally attentive and provided impeccable service.

This guesthouse is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering a tranquil environment perfect for relaxation. The courtyard is filled with plants, and you can even catch views of the canyon. At night, you're lulled to sleep by the peaceful surroundings with very little light pollution, allowing you to see the stars clearly. It truly feels like a return to childhood days in the countryside. We stayed in a charming cabin this time, which had a large balcony directly overlooking the grand canyon. The room's layout was well-designed, and the bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area, making it clean and tidy. The proprietress was very friendly and always quick to help with any issues we had.

My husband and I chose this hotel for a relaxing getaway, and it was absolutely the right choice. First, the environment: the air in the mountains is so fresh, surrounded by lush greenery, and the only sounds are the wind and birdsong – incredibly pleasant. Our room even had a private hot tub on the balcony. Soaking in it at night while enjoying the mountain views was incredibly romantic and relaxing. Although it gets quite cold in the mountains at night, the underfloor heating in the room was excellent; it was toasty warm as soon as we entered, and walking barefoot was so comfortable – no worries about catching a cold at all. The service was also wonderful. From check-in to check-out, everyone was warm, attentive, and quick to respond to any requests. Exploring the area was convenient too. Cloud Mountain Grassland is just a short drive away, perfect for a full day of fun. There are also local farmhouses nearby where you can buy fresh, affordable local produce. Getting to and from the hotel is smooth, making trips to attractions or finding places to eat completely hassle-free. This stay truly allowed us to relax both body and mind. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back!

I was originally worried that the mountain road would be difficult to walk and there were many forks. Whenever we needed help, they always provided us with tea and snacks when we checked in at the hotel and took pictures, which made us feel the warmth and friendliness in a foreign land.
