Ibis Budget Basel City ★★
"Great location near the train station, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast."
Movenpick Hotel Basel ★★★★
"The reception staff are very helpful and forthcoming in providing prefessional services to guests. We enjoyed very much the nice breakfast of high quality in the cosy restaurant . The room was spacious and cleaned. The central location (close to bus/train stops) made it very easy to scenic spots . We made a very good choice of this hotel. The picture shows the dino outside the hotel which makes the environment relaxing."
B&B Hotel Basel ★★★
"Great, comfortable and nice view. Although the placebis not so convenient, but the environment is very good"
Hotel Euler Basel ★★★★
"The hotel is super close to the train station, just a 2-minute walk. The only downside is that there are steps at the entrance, which could be a bit inconvenient if you're traveling alone with large luggage. Otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly."
Hotel Wettstein ★★★
"Great hotel and wonderful breakfast 🤩"
Hotel Schweizerhof Basel ★★★
"Good location."
Ibis Styles Basel City ★★★
"So beautiful"
Pullman Basel Europe ★★★★
"Service: The reception staff were very helpful and quick to respond to any requests. Cleanliness: The room was spotless. Environment: The overall hotel environment is pleasant, and the room layout is also very practical. Facilities: Most hotels in Switzerland have very soft pillows, but this was the only one that offered memory foam pillows, which made for a more comfortable sleep. The only downside is that if your room faces the street, you might hear the trams passing by outside."
Hotel City Inn Basel ★★★
"Great location, comfortable, quiet, clean bathroom with a perfect shower . I’ll be back"

Hotel Märthof Basel
"The location is great, the only thing is quite loud because you can hear everything thats happening n the street, apart from that the location is great and loved the hotel and the restaurant is outstanding!!"
Grand Hotel les Trois Rois
"We loved and admired everything about this hotel. The staff was exemplary, the room lovely, and the food delicious. The destination restaurant in the hotel, the Michelin 3 star Cheval Blanc, is, truly, a destination restaurant…imaginative, creative, delicious, and the service was simply superb. But the hotel’s other restaurant, the Brasserie was also superb …for breakfast as well as dinner…just not quite at the aspirational level of Cheval. Which is as it should be. They are doing different things. The food in the bar is also very good…with as good a BLT as one might want."
Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel
"Excellent facility, very comfortable bed and pillows...and that's saying something...location close to the center but also to transportation to the airport. Friendly and helpful staff."
Hotel by Hyve Basel
"Comfortable, close to train station, not very social, sockets bedside bed DO NOT WORK. Clean linen, felt safe as a female. We booked for 3 people and although our rooms did not fill up throughout our stay we were still split up which was upsetting. Not bad"
Basel Backpack
"We arrived late but we got a great welcome and and had a pleasent chat with friendly host in the reception. Staff is calm and professional and help with everything ! Rooms are clean and so are blankets and pillows. Baths and toilets are clean and offcourse there are water on the floor and some minor detailes when a lot of people share facilities. But we will come back if we return. The neighbourgood is close to the station, the Tram is just around the corner and the old factory that host the hostel is a creative space with bars-restaurants, climbing facilities and much more. The hostel gives you a free Basel card so whats not to like, and we can recommend to do as the locals, to jump in the Rhien and follow the stream along with the rest of the city. So a great stay for a family of 5, parents and 3 kids 5-12-15"
The Passage - Urban & Lifestyle Hotel
"The hotel is exceptional, the facilities are fabulous. Excellent cleanliness and a delicious and varied breakfast. Very close to the city center, you can walk everywhere. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. It's definitely a highly recommended hotel for spending a few days in the city."
Essential by Dorint Basel City
"I was really very satisfied. I would have liked to have a drink in the garden in the evening, but I can understand if it would have been too noisy."
Courtyard Basel
"Recently renovated hotel. The hall is beautiful. Nice but spacious rooms. Far from the center (you need a car to reach the center of Basel) and with paid parking (expensive) The free one is 6-7 minutes away from the hotel."
Hotel Rheinfelderhof
"Very good location, easy to go anywhere because hotels guests entitled for city transportation all free including to and from Basel airports and railway stations. Toilet is a bit small but hot water is great, staff are very friendly."
Hotel Victoria
"Nice location, clean room, delicious breakfast."
Novotel Basel City
"Good hotel"
Merian am Rhein
"Room was extremely outdated, shower covered in limescale, skirtings coming apart on the walls not to mention it was very hot. The tea & coffee is a decent touch but you’ve certainly paid the price for it as it’s expensive to stay. No staff what so ever, I unfortunately injured my foot badly on holiday & asked through the external buzzer if someone could help me with my case down the steps they said no that no one was available. States you get a BaselCard on arrival - I didn’t. No housekeeping - apparently you need to put a card on the door for it - I had no idea again as there is no staff to run you through anything on arrival. Upon me telling them this they responded the hotel is not newly renovated but well kept (limescale & departing skirtings does not seem well kept to me) and the room was superior room and enjoyed by guests (wouldn’t like to see the rest of them then) That they do not offer a luggage service (I didn’t not ask for this I had already struggled from my room on the 4 th floor all the way down to the lobby myself - I simply needed help out the front door as there are around 10 steps and I only had use of one foot!) Just told me to leave a review so here it is. Poor attitude, poor hotel - Hostel with hotel prices"
Basel Marriott Hotel
"Good service"
Gaia Hotel Basel - the Sustainable 4 Star Hotel
"Brilliant staff, they all are friendly, polite and they proactively know our needs and offer help to us. The breakfast is yummy, the bread and butter is so good with many choices. Will go there again for certain!!!"
Krafft Basel
"The hotel is located by the river, and the room windows overlook the city streets, making it a bit noisy at night. However, the overall environment of the hotel is exquisite and comfortable, and the service is very attentive. My pre-stored luggage was already put in my room when I checked in the afternoon. The breakfast was delicious, and there was complimentary tea and coffee available on each floor. It has the style of an old-fashioned European boutique hotel."
Art House Basel - Member of Design Hotels
"The room itself is OK, and the location is OK. But because there is no air conditioning, it is still a bit stuffy at night. You can borrow an electric fan from the front desk, a Dyson, but there is no remote control, and it is very noisy at the maximum wind speed. Before booking, I saw that toothbrushes were provided, but they were not. The key point is that when I was looking for toothbrushes, I found two pairs of earplugs! I was very curious why the hotel provided this, and I found it at night. It was so noisy. The upstairs is the hotel's bar and breakfast restaurant. It was either the sound of moving tables and chairs or playing music. What's more terrible is that the bars in the two streets in front and behind the hotel are open, all kinds of noises, music, screaming, yelling... It didn't end at 4:30 in the morning. It was crazy. Except for children, adults could still fall asleep. Taking sleeping pills didn't work. I don't recommend this hotel at all."
