In Trip.com I have chosen it for a long time, and I decided this one with the mentality of trying it out. The result was completely unstepped! The real scene is far more amazing than the picture, the environment is full of atmosphere, and the shots are all beautiful blockbusters. The rooms are clean and tidy, the facilities are complete and easy to use, the service is more intimate and thoughtful, and the experience in all aspects is superb. The breakfast tastes authentic and full of home-cooked fireworks, eating the taste of mother's cooking, the taste of the dinner in the store is also very colorful, and the coffee is delicious. In the evening, accompanied by a beautiful sea view, listening to the soothing music to have a few drinks, comfortable and healing, this trip is complete and comfortable, really recommend!

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the hotel. Upon check-in, we were given two popsicles and two beers. We were told that we could enjoy free-flow beer from check-in until 10 PM. We're not big drinkers, but the beer was really good, haha. The check-in experience was excellent, and the service was also great. Every staff member at the hotel was enthusiastic and polite, which was a huge plus. The hotel is very close to Beer City. We really wanted to experience the lively atmosphere there, but when we asked a waitress at the 1903 Beer Workshop, she told us that we just needed to consume something at their place and didn't need to go to Beer City behind it. Later, we felt this waitress was really unhelpful. She told us which tables were reserved and that reserved tables didn't have a minimum spend, then she tried to guide us to tables that *did* have a minimum spend, saying we could order a set meal. We don't like set meals, and a minimum spend is fine, but not everyone likes everything in a set meal. Later, a male server told us there was no minimum spend regardless of where we sat. We didn't order a set meal, just what we wanted, but we found the food to be generally not good and wouldn't recommend it. After dinner at the 1903 Beer Workshop, it was late, but we still went to Beer City behind it and it was very lively. We feel the worst part about this hotel was some of the female staff at the 1903 Beer Workshop; their service attitude was a bit poor. They really need some training.

First off, the hotel's location is fantastic – right next to a commercial street and a subway station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Secondly, the hotel's facilities and ambiance are excellent, showcasing the charm of a century-old courtyard. The rooms are really unique, and the staff are all incredibly friendly. When the hairdryer had a minor issue, a staff member quickly brought a replacement. Lastly, I have to praise the hotel's breakfast buffet. Although the dining area isn't huge, the variety of food is extensive, ranging from Chinese to Western, and from local specialties to popular tastes. It's very comprehensive, tastes great, and all the ingredients are fresh. I'll definitely choose Furuili Shiyu Hotel again next time I'm in Qingdao.

The female staff members I encountered at this hotel were all wonderful. When I booked a tent, I was told the beach would be shady in the afternoon, but I actually needed the tent more in the morning. They were very helpful and changed my reservation to the morning. When checking in, they noticed I had a small baby and proactively asked if I could wait a few hours to get a room upgrade to a sea-view room. Since I was going to Mount Laoshan that day, I checked in in the evening and was upgraded directly to a sea-view room. Many thanks to the front desk staff who checked me in and the staff who helped me book the tent. The room was also cleaned very well every day.

My stay at the MGM Qingdao was an absolute delight, truly exceeding all expectations! The hotel boasts an unbeatable location in the heart of Laoshan District's financial CBD, with Laoshan Mountain at its back and the sea stretching before it. Opening the window reveals a magnificent panoramic view of Shilaoren Beach. The room facilities are impressively new; the king-sized bed with high-quality bedding made it impossible to want to get up – I especially recommend the Executive Seaview Room. You can watch the tide ebb and flow right from the sofa, and every photo you snap looks like it's straight out of a movie. The infinity pool on the 31st floor deserves special commendation! The water is so clear you can see the patterns on the bottom, and swimming to the edge feels like you're merging with the sea and sky. There's also a wet sauna nearby to relax your muscles. The treadmills in the gym face the ocean, so you can watch the waves crash while you work out – all fatigue instantly disappears. Breakfast at the Feast restaurant, enjoyed by the floor-to-ceiling windows with fresh cucumber juice and a sea view, even made eating a fried egg feel ceremonial. The unlimited seafood at the dinner buffet was incredible; the salmon and oysters were so fresh you could taste the ocean. The macarons at the dessert bar had just the right amount of sweetness; I ate five without feeling sick of them. The attention to detail in the service was evident: my butler, Elly, proactively asked if I needed turndown service, and clean towels were always available by the pool. Although I occasionally encountered new staff members who were still learning the ropes, the overall response time was very quick. I particularly want to praise the hotel's cultural ambiance – the art installations in the lobby incorporate elements of Qilu intangible cultural heritage, the afternoon tea desserts hide clever螺钿 (luodian, mother-of-pearl inlay) craftsmanship, and even the room's scent carries the aroma of Laoshan tea, weaving Eastern aesthetics into every corner.

Considering the average price of 2000 yuan per night, The Westin is absolutely not worth it. Let's start with the pros based on my personal experience: 1. **Excellent Location**: The transportation is indeed convenient, with a subway station right outside. It's very easy to access MixC Mall directly via an underground passage for dining. May Fourth Square and the beach are within walking distance. 2. **Outstanding Housekeeping**: The housekeeper on our floor during our 4-night, 5-day stay was incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful! Seeing that we had both elderly and children, she provided us with ample bottled water every day. After I mentioned how inconvenient it was to only have tissue paper in the bathroom sink area in such a large room, she brought us two extra packs of portable tissues for easy access. Her service attitude truly deserves a thumbs up! 👍 Now, let's get to the serious cons: 1. **Mismatched Hardware for the Price**: The room's hardware facilities are completely inadequate for this price point! Not only is the toilet not smart, but it doesn't even have a soft-close lid? My child would use the restroom half-asleep at night, and it would bang loudly. What they call a 'family suite' is essentially just a room with an extra bed. The pillows were also uncomfortable (here, I have to praise the housekeeper again! I complained to her about the pillows and asked for a buckwheat pillow. She said they were fully booked but would keep an eye out for one, and she brought me one the very next day! Thank you!). The toiletries appeared to be of low quality; most notably, my hair felt noticeably dry even after using conditioner. The hairdryer was also ineffective, with low airflow in cold mode. 2. **Subpar Front Desk and Breakfast Service for the Price**: Our room included two breakfast servings. On the first day, dining was smooth; we just swiped our room card. For the third person in my room, we paid 100 yuan for a guest breakfast. The next day, when we went down, the person at the card-swiping station at the restaurant entrance actually told me that the room only included one breakfast?! I said, 'How is that possible?' She even told me to go to the front desk to ask myself! Finally, after my repeated insistence, she took out the notebook that was right in front of her to check and then told me that it was indeed two breakfasts??!!! At that moment, I really wanted to swear (but I held back). What kind of service is this? Furthermore, there's no comparison, no harm done. Whether it was previous stays at InterContinental, Hilton, or Sheraton, if our family of 5 stayed in two rooms for three or four days or more (with two breakfasts included per room), the hotels would usually directly provide an extra breakfast without requiring a separate purchase. Of course, after spending tens of thousands on accommodation, a few hundred yuan for breakfast isn't a big deal. I'm bringing this up just to highlight an issue with the hotel's service awareness.

What an amazing stay! I'll absolutely be back. Stepping into the room, I was immediately struck by how fresh it smelled – not a trace of odor! The sheets and duvet covers were incredibly soft and crisp, and even the bathroom corners were sparkling clean. I felt completely comfortable walking barefoot on the floor. It was such a comfortable experience! The owner's hand-drip coffee is an absolute must-try! It's full of rich, mellow aroma, with no bitterness or astringency, just a lovely sweet aftertaste. One cup in the morning truly perks you up for the whole day – honestly, it's better than anything you'd get at a chain coffee shop! The overall ambiance of the hotel is incredibly therapeutic. From the charming little decorations in the public areas to the beautiful natural light in the rooms, everything contributes to a wonderfully relaxed feeling. It was so pleasant to simply read a book or just zone out in the room. A super thoughtful touch was the washing machine – it cleaned clothes thoroughly and quietly, getting all my travel laundry done. What a lifesaver! I was so incredibly satisfied with this stay. This hotel will definitely be my first choice next time I'm in the area!

The room was great! I really liked the separate layout of the bathroom and the bed. The windows were also well-designed, providing good ventilation and making the room feel comfortable and clean. The staff service was excellent too. The young ladies were pretty, gentle, and generous – it was a pleasure to see them (and I'm a woman, haha!). The young men spoke softly, which was as calming as the sea here. All in all, I support dog-friendly hotels!

Our stay at the hotel was overall very pleasant. The hotel itself looks absolutely amazing, it truly feels like staying in a castle, both from the outside and inside. Our room had a beautiful sea view, which created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast offered a nice variety of options, and the café with its balcony overlooking the sea was a wonderful place to enjoy coffee. The food at the café was also very good. One of the highlights of our stay was the concierge service. The concierge was extremely helpful, polite, and professional. He assisted us many times with our deliveries and always made a great impression. Most of the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming as well. The hotel’s location, away from the city center, is actually a big advantage for those looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The beach is not crowded, and the swimming pool is usually peaceful and not busy. However, there are some areas where the hotel could improve. The room cleaning service needs more attention. It wasn't good at all. Some cups at breakfast were also dirty or cracked. The service at the café could be improved as well. When we came to order afternoon tea at around 5 PM, one of the young staff members seemed unhappy and impatient because it was close to the end of his working day. After making a short call, we were told that the kitchen was not answering and that they were no longer working. This experience did not feel very welcoming. Though I understand he really wanted to leave work asap, he could share it with his coworker after we left, not in front of us 🤣 The hotel also has a Japanese restaurant, but the staff could not provide clear information about its opening days or availability. We were told it might be open on Thursday and Friday, but it was not certain. Another concern is the small zoo area. animals appeared to be staying outside in the heat all day. In particular, there was a dog kept in a cage outside during very hot weather (around 35°C), which was concerning and seemed unsuitable for the animal’s comfort.. The beach near the hotel was unfortunately quite dirty, which is something that could be improved. Regarding the swimming pools, the indoor pool felt quite cold, especially with the air conditioning, making it difficult to enjoy with a child when the outdoor weather is too hot. The outdoor pool area also has limited comfortable seating. There are only a few lounge chairs, and adding soft cushions or mats would greatly improve the experience and make the area more relaxing. Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere, views, and peaceful location. The hotel has great potential, and with some improvements in service quality, cleanliness, and facilities, it could become an even better experience for guests.

Pros: The hotel is located right next to Silver Beach, with an underground passage on floor B1 that leads directly to the sea, which is incredibly convenient. Silver Beach itself is stunning, with clear waters, soft sand, and very attentive and responsible lifeguards. The beach is clean, and we didn't see any jellyfish in the swimming area, so you can safely enjoy the water. The staff were all very friendly, thoughtful, and meticulous. The rooms are spacious and come with a balcony where you can dry clothes. Regardless of whether it's a sea view room or not, the view from the balcony is beautiful and really contributes to a relaxed holiday vibe. Ordering takeout is quite easy, and there are large shopping malls within a few kilometers, making it very convenient. Cons: The hotel is a bit old, so some of the facilities are showing their age, and the room decor is also quite dated. The air conditioning wasn't very effective at cooling and couldn't be adjusted manually. Overall, the good points far outweigh the bad, and I would definitely stay here again.
