The hotel has a high-altitude lounge with a bar where you can enjoy drinks, and they even provide drink vouchers, which is really convenient if you want a beverage without having to go downstairs. The transportation downstairs is very convenient, with a subway station nearby. The service is also very warm and friendly; they were very enthusiastic in answering our questions about local attractions and how to get around, which was great. Right across the street is a fountain, so you can take a stroll there if you're bored in the evening without having to go too far. It's also only about 600-700 meters from Minsheng Road. The hotel's decor is very new, and the facilities are complete. The only minor drawback might be that it's not a standalone building, so the elevators can be a bit slow. They offer free parking, which is very friendly for those traveling by car.

We specifically chose this hotel to be close to Minsheng Street, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! First, the hotel's location is excellent. It's only a 10-minute taxi ride to Qianling Mountain Park, and Minsheng Street, with many popular foodie spots, is just a 3-minute walk away, right downstairs from the hotel. The room facilities are also very good, and the hygiene is impeccable. The bedding and sofa in the room are very comfortable. I especially want to commend the ladies at the front desk and in the restaurant service. They helped us take our luggage to the room and were incredibly responsive to all our requests. They even gave us a souvenir after we checked out. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Guizhou!

Overall, the hotel is quite good. The service is excellent, parking is convenient, and the location is very accessible. It's only a 5-minute walk to Terminal 3 of the airport, and also a 5-minute walk to the Hi-Car and Shenzhou Car Rental branches. There's a small supermarket and dining options right next to the hotel. The hotel breakfast is outstanding, and the service is great. On my last day, I had an early flight, and the front desk prepared a sandwich breakfast for me in advance, which was absolutely delicious. I booked a room with breakfast for two, and it cost a little over 500 RMB per night. Personally, I think the price is a bit high; it would be perfect if it were around 400 RMB!

This hotel was the cheapest one we booked for our road trip, but it turned out to be the most surprisingly way higher than expected! First off, for less than 400 a night, they offer butler service. Before check-in, they proactively called and added us on WeChat, sent us the location, asked what pets we had, what we needed prepared in the room, and even checked in on our experience during our stay. Secondly, there's open-air parking right in front of the hotel, as well as an underground garage with charging stations. Plus, right next door are fast chargers for Li Auto, XPeng, and NIO. The hotel's location is also excellent, very close to Minsheng Road Food Street, Qingyun Market, and Jiaxiu Tower. You can get a Didi within 3 minutes, and it's only 10 yuan to the food street. What's more, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and polite when we checked in. We had two dogs with us, and they prepared some pet supplies for them and even gave us a Guizhou fridge magnet. The cleaning lady greeted us with a big smile, and when we drove out and forgot to register our license plate at the front desk, the security guard immediately lifted the barrier for us. When we returned, he even helped us back into our spot. Finally, and most importantly, even though it's a smoking and dog-friendly hotel, the room was very clean and quiet, with no smoke or strange odors, and it even had an air purifier. I'm writing such a long review purely because I truly feel this hotel embodies a customer-first approach, providing service from the guest's perspective. Every single staff member genuinely strives to do their best in their respective roles. Next time I'm in Guiyang, I will definitely stay here again!

The room's location was fantastic, offering a panoramic view of Guiyang's city center. The breakfast spread was extensive, with delicious noodles, fresh pastries, and an especially tasty salad. They also kept replenishing the fresh fruit. The room facilities were very satisfying – new and easy to use. The design of the washbasin was excellent, even for shorter women, preventing clothes from getting wet while washing up. Of all the hotels I've stayed in, Zhonghao's washbasin was by far the best! The shower had great water pressure and the hot water was constant and abundant. The air conditioning in the room was excellent, cooling down quickly, and being able to adjust it freely (not a central system) was a huge plus. I accidentally left something in the room when checking out, and they were incredibly helpful in finding it and arranging for it to be mailed home – I was so, so touched! Plus, downstairs there's a chain fast-food restaurant with delicious food, so you don't have to go far for a good meal. A convenience store right next door meant I could try local yogurt and easily pick up daily necessities. There's a major bus stop right outside, covering most of the attractions, especially the No. 1 bus which is right there and offers a fantastic double-decker tour around the city. This was a truly satisfying and exceptional stay. Even though we were tired after a full day of exploring, staying here made our entire Guiyang trip a wonderful experience.

The room I requested was generally accommodated, but due to the building's design, the window felt quite oppressive. I discussed it with the front desk and managed to switch to a room closer to the road, which felt less claustrophobic. However, the traffic lights on the street did slightly affect the room at night. Since it was peak season, I had no other options, and this is a fixed hardware issue with the room. The elevator serves two hotels, so it can get a bit busy during breakfast, and it often gets stopped on the first floor. The hotel's front desk is on the basement level, so sometimes you can't get an elevator upstairs from there. Parking is quite convenient; even if there are no spots, they try their best to find one. I want to give a shout-out to the front desk staff, especially the young man who enthusiastically helped us solve problems and even printed study materials for my daughter. The service was very warm, and the complimentary coffee vouchers were also excellent – not just a token gesture. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the food tasted really good! They even offered late-night porridge and there's a laundry room. Overall, it was quite a pleasant stay! Every summer, when I bring my child to Guiyang for competitions, we always choose the Hyatt Regency Guiyang. It has become our go-to hotel in Guiyang for the summer. I particularly love the hotel's garden and waterfall landscape; it's perfect for a stroll and taking photos at any time of day, whether it's dawn, dusk, or afternoon. The pedestrian path outside the hotel leads directly to the Guizhou Provincial Museum. The hotel rooms are also spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast service is excellent. Even during peak summer season with many guests, they are always responsive to our needs.

Hotel Experience Sharing This hotel is conveniently located in the city center. Its exterior boasts a modern design, while the interior decor perfectly blends classic elements with contemporary comfort. Upon entering the lobby, you immediately sense the hotel's high-quality service; the front desk staff are friendly, and the check-in process is swift and efficient. The rooms are spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable beds that ensure a great night's sleep. The in-room amenities are comprehensive, including high-speed Wi-Fi, a mini-bar, and an LCD TV, catering to both business and leisure travelers. The bathroom is clean and tidy, well-stocked with toiletries, making for a very satisfying showering experience. The hotel's dining service is equally excellent. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, offering everything from fresh fruits and pastries to hot omelets and bacon, all prepared to perfection. Furthermore, the hotel's fitness center and swimming pool provide guests with a great place to relax and unwind. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. It's a great choice for both business trips and leisure vacations. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to the city.

The hotel's location is excellent, right above Qingyun Street. The room environment is fantastic, and the hotel staff were lovely, even arranging a river view room for us! However, the elevators in the building are truly suffocating. One of the three was broken, and with it being peak tourist season, going up and down was incredibly inconvenient. We had to wait at least 10 minutes for an elevator 😂. We heard from the hotel staff that they are coordinating with the building management to upgrade the elevator equipment, and we hope it gets resolved soon, otherwise, it will really affect the hotel's reputation. Aside from the elevator issue, the hotel room experience was very good.

The hotel grounds are quite spacious, but apart from being large, there isn't much to praise about the garden view; the design is rather ordinary. 1. For a five-star hotel, it feels remarkably stingy. For such an expensive room rate, the mini-bar was completely empty. Honestly, a few cans of Coke or Sprite might not get drunk, but it's the gesture that counts. There weren't even any welcome fruits, something even a basic guesthouse provides. How can a big hotel be so dismissive of these small touches? 2. As a family-focused hotel, it's expected to have many children, but the swimming pool water was so murky it was uninviting. The hotel should consider adult guests more, perhaps by dedicating a separate lane. Plus, the outdoor pool closes quite early. Overall, for adults without children, the pool is practically useless. 3. Our flight was canceled late at night due to a typhoon, forcing us to rebook an earlier flight. We had to leave first thing in the morning. We had breakfast included, so we went to the breakfast area to ask for some food to go. The manager said we could only take simple items like eggs and bread, nothing else. Why? We paid extra for breakfast in our room rate, why are we restricted to just a few items? The restaurant manager then said we could take a little more, but only if we signed an agreement to avoid disputes… and we had to list everything we wanted to take. We were already in a rush, and then they gave us two small boxes, following us the whole time. In the end, just as she said, it was a very small amount. I really don't understand this policy. Many children, who don't even pay for breakfast, waste food by eating half and discarding half, with no one supervising. Yet, paying guests who genuinely need it are treated this way? 4. The buffet dinner was terrible value for money. Apart from some tiny crayfish, there was hardly anything else worth eating! While it's a good family hotel that's kid-friendly, as an adult looking for a relaxing vacation, you'll feel largely overlooked here.
