He spent his own money to build roads and keep the place beautiful. It feels like the boss really regards this place as his own business. There are many beautiful flowers and plants planted in the garden, as well as chestnut trees, hawthorn trees, and walnut trees. You can pick them in autumn, but now you can only admire them. Corn and vegetables are also planted. The coffee shop tastes very good, much better than the ones in the city. The boss is very attentive. He drove out to lead the way in the middle of the night for fear that we would not find the way. I heard that the boss used to be a director and can cook. He personally cooked barbecue for us and made delicious Chongqing noodles, which were awesome. 👍🏻 The place is still under renovation, and the two bungalows are being renovated so that people can live in it in winter. The room is very clean, and they are all modern facilities. The induction cooker can cook, but it may be located in a remote location. Jinshanling is obviously not developed in Beidaihe. The merchants are relatively small, especially the restaurant. You must book in advance, otherwise you can't eat food and can't barbecue. So eating is a problem. Fortunately, we brought beef slices and instant noodles. The hot springs may also be relatively small, and reservations should be made in advance. And maybe because of the geographical location, there is obviously a strong wind here. The only advantage is that it is adjacent to the Simatai Great Wall. The environment is still very invincible. It is estimated that it should be very cool in summer.

Unexpectedly great! We took the high-speed train, then a bus to the town. The owner picked us up whenever he was free, and he was incredibly enthusiastic. We even took a bit of an off-road detour. The hotel, surrounded by mountains, is well-equipped, clean, and hygienic. Due to the significant temperature difference, the air conditioning was cool during the day, and the underfloor heating was turned on in advance for the evening! Very thoughtful, a true escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The staff, both young men and women, addressed us as 'Brother,' which made us feel even more welcome. The owner even arranged activities like sunset viewing in the evening... So much more I want to express, but it's better for my wife to experience it herself!

Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I have to complain about a front desk staff member who answered the phone between 7 and 10 PM on the 31st. The first time I reported the washing machine wasn't working, she actually told me it was leaking and advised me not to use it. I ended up fixing and using it myself. The second time I called about the shower water not getting hot, her response was even more ridiculous: she told me to just keep running the water until it got hot. I wasted nearly half an hour, and the water never got warm. In the end, a housekeeping staff member came and simply inserted the gas card, which solved the problem. What's worse is her terrible attitude; she was argumentative and refused to admit her incompetence in handling issues, acting as if she knew everything. She definitely deserves a bad review! On another note, the hotel is very close to Jinshanling Great Wall, which is absolutely worth a visit!
