"Facilities: Standard hotel facilities, well-equipped and convenient. They have their own parking lot with an attendant to help you park.
Environment: Although it's in a busy area, it's very quiet, and the surroundings are very convenient. Taxis, in particular, are very accessible and inexpensive, so you don't need to drive to attractions. Attraction parking lots are often too small and inconvenient for self-driving.
Service: Very attentive, any issues were resolved immediately. The hotel restaurant, especially, has great food; we ate all three nights at the restaurant on the fourth floor. Breakfast was also very rich and varied."

"This hotel deserves a five-star rating for its front desk service, which was far superior to the treatment I received at the Yage Huanju Hotel in Beidaihe. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, thoughtful, and anticipated all our needs. Although the parking lot is small, the attendants proactively helped us park the car. The restaurant staff were patient and provided timely service. All the hotel staff made us feel well taken care of and right at home. The only drawbacks were that the room was a bit small, and the ceiling height was low, which felt a little cramped. The outer pane of the double-glazed window was quite dirty, likely due to the difficulty of cleaning it."

"I always stay at this hotel when passing through Chengde, and this time I booked it directly based on a recommendation from Ctrip. During check-in, I was told it was a special offer room, located at the very edge of the hotel. Thinking I was only staying one night and needed to travel the next day, I didn't pay much attention.
However, as soon as I entered the room, I was overwhelmed by the strong smell of smoke. Around 4 AM, it suddenly became incredibly noisy downstairs, like people picking me up at the station shouting loudly. This lasted for over half an hour, waking me up. This is the first time I've encountered this situation in three stays.
If I had been told beforehand that it would be this noisy, I would definitely have paid extra to change rooms. After all, I had to drive on the highway the next day, and not getting enough rest really affects my performance.
For those driving, please be aware of this beforehand and ask about the room location and noise levels!"

I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough! If you are visiting the Jinshanling Great Wall, staying here is an absolute must. The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm.
But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable.
The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He
eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station.
They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!”

The B&B is located within the Great Wall Cultural Park, boasting beautiful surroundings and a spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated courtyard. We spent two full days hiking Jinshanling Great Wall, and my child also learned about many plants and animals here. Staying here is perfect for a leisurely exploration of Jinshanling; one night is simply too short.

Surrounded by mountains and water, the environment is beautiful, a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We stayed in a tent room, and listening to the river and the chirping of insects at night was very relaxing. The boss is a man of taste. He spent his own money to build roads and keep the place beautiful. It feels like the boss really regards this place as his own business. There are many beautiful flowers and plants planted in the garden, as well as chestnut trees, hawthorn trees, and walnut trees. You can pick them in autumn, but now you can only admire them. Corn and vegetables are also planted. The coffee shop tastes very good, much better than the ones in the city. The boss is very attentive. He drove out to lead the way in the middle of the night for fear that we would not find the way. I heard that the boss used to be a director and can cook. He personally cooked barbecue for us and made delicious Chongqing noodles, which were awesome. 👍🏻 The place is still under renovation, and the two bungalows are being renovated so that people can live in it in winter. Looking forward to visiting us next time

YangRRThis is my second time visiting Wulingshan, and I chose Lanye Hotel again~ I've been eating breakfast at Shangu (Valley) restaurant, and I'm very satisfied, having eaten there for two consecutive days. I especially love the wild vegetable buns. The hotel was also incredibly thoughtful; knowing I was pregnant, they prepared an air purifier and a pregnancy pillow for me~ They also arranged for a high-floor room, so it wasn't noisy at all. They really put their heart into it!

Guest UserCome to escape the heat, it is really cool and really convenient; the hotel has its own restaurant, mainly Jiangxi cuisine, breakfast is a buffet; the door is the racecourse, you must make an appointment in advance; The location is on the periphery of the town. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the commercial street, saving the trouble of traffic jams. The accommodation conditions and the sanitation of the restaurant are online. You can rest assured with children. There is a bonfire party and a lottery in the evening. It is worth experiencing.

Guest UserI checked into this hotel today, and the environment is absolutely stunning. The garden-style design made me never want to leave. The smart home features throughout the room were incredibly convenient, and I was especially pleased with how clean and tidy everything was. I'd definitely want to stay here again. The service was also excellent; the front desk staff were very warm and attentive. At breakfast, there was a wide variety of dishes, all very distinctive and delicious. Plus, they have both above-ground and underground parking, and even charging stations – so thoughtful! Next time I'm visiting Chengde, I'm definitely choosing Puning Hotel again.

Yanming Lake Hotel gave me the most profound impression during my trip this year. I am very satisfied with the environment and tent room. When we checked in that day, a total of four families stayed in tents. It was very quiet and the scenery was super beautiful. I regretted why I didn’t choose this place on the first day. It was only half an hour away from Ulan Butong. Shortly after checking in that day, it started to rain. There was thunder and lightning, and I even photographed beautiful lightning. You can feel the wind and rain outside in the tent. Then the power went out for ten minutes. Rainwater also began to flow into the house from the cracks in the tent. I was a little panicked at first and asked customer service. The customer service said not to worry, as the rain would be lighter and I could change to another tent. Later I discovered that as long as it wasn’t windy, it wouldn’t matter if it rained (it rained heavily that night, so I slept very soundly). I also encountered a wild deer running wild by the lake. I asked customer service and they said it was not raised by them and it should be wild. You can really reserve a day for Yanming Lake and just stay there. Looking at the endless grassland at the entrance of the tent, you feel so relaxed. The only regret was that it was raining and I couldn't see the stars in the sky. I sincerely recommend it to everyone. The tents here can be said to be the ceiling of the camping industry. Friends who like grasslands and outdoors must come.

It's super close to the train station, with direct underground access right downstairs. The room itself is well-equipped, featuring automatic curtains, a heated toilet seat, a tea set, and an adjustable electric bed.
Breakfast isn't a buffet; it's a fixed set menu. You get a pie, eggs, cold dishes, and you can choose between porridge or noodles.
The underground parking garage is quite narrow.

PablitolocokimI don’t speak Chinese, but the staff there were very friendly and helpful. From checking in to checking out, the front desk staff helped me like a personal assistant. She even scheduled a massage and taxi service. Local guests I met at the hot pools were also very nice and welcoming. This is somewhat old place, but I like places with history. Be aware of the large portion of dishes you get at the restaurant. I couldn’t finish all the dishes as a solo traveler.

Guest UserFirst, the pros: The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Jinshanling Great Wall, which is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The hotel's design is also visually appealing, with individual courtyards forming a small village. The standard rooms are designed in a traditional enclosed style with a courtyard, offering good natural light and ventilation.
Now for the cons: Firstly, some of the staff lack professional ethics (let's not even get into service quality). When we were checking out, we couldn't find a taxi. The concierge told us there was nothing they could do and we'd have to take an unlicensed car. Then, a male staff member offered to drive us for an exorbitant 600 yuan! Keep in mind, ride-sharing apps estimated the fare at just over 300 yuan, and a carpool would have been around 180 yuan! We later found out that there's a convenient tourist bus service at the visitor center near the hotel, which runs daily to Beijing Dongzhimen for only 80 yuan, but the staff deliberately withheld this information! Many international guests stay at this hotel; such responses would be a disgrace to Chinese hospitality! I hope the hotel takes this seriously and rectifies the situation.
Another issue is the hotel restaurant, which is quite a rip-off. The 78-yuan smoked chicken had a thick layer of coriander under it, with very little meat! In short, while the hotel itself is beautiful, the service ruins the experience. I've included photos, both good and bad, so everyone can be aware and avoid potential pitfalls.
