"The room was spacious and comfortable, very clean and tidy. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, so everything was easy to use without getting in the way, and the sink was nice and big. They even provided laundry detergent, and the shower had long hooks (much better than traditional clotheslines), which made washing small items super convenient. The shower pressure was also excellent. The front desk staff were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and proactive with their service. The breakfast restaurant opened promptly at 7 AM, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel's location is also fantastic, not far from Erxianju Market and the Summer Palace. This was a very pleasant stay, highly recommend!"

"This hotel deserves a five-star rating for its front desk service, which was far superior to the treatment I received at the Yage Huanju Hotel in Beidaihe. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, thoughtful, and anticipated all our needs. Although the parking lot is small, the attendants proactively helped us park the car. The restaurant staff were patient and provided timely service. All the hotel staff made us feel well taken care of and right at home. The only drawbacks were that the room was a bit small, and the ceiling height was low, which felt a little cramped. The outer pane of the double-glazed window was quite dirty, likely due to the difficulty of cleaning it."

I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough! If you are visiting the Jinshanling Great Wall, staying here is an absolute must. The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm.
But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable.
The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He
eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station.
They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!”

Guest UserAs a group of foreigners this place was great all around. They gave us great advice about visiting the great wall and we managed to go before anyone else was there. It was a rare and magical experience for a location usually absurdly crowded. They also helped us book taxis after our train was cancelled from torrential rains. The rooms are very modern, new, and nice. The restaurant onsite made home made foods. It's a 10 minute drive to the entrance of the great wall from there. It's hard to be any closer than this hotel because it's at the mouth of the park.

ShulanxiongpengpengjiangI don't usually review places, but I couldn't help but recommend them. It was so relaxing and comfortable here, and everyone of all ages could find something fun.
The tent room's facilities exceeded my expectations, with a smart toilet, private bathroom, and comfortable bedding. Bottled water and a kettle were also provided. It was a bit chilly in the mountains at night on May 1st, but the air conditioning provided heat and an electric blanket, so I slept soundly. I experienced the wildness, the facilities were convenient, and the service was just the right amount of friendly. It was a very comfortable stay. I felt the owner's attentiveness and dedication in every aspect, from the supplies to the quality of the food and the design. It was absolutely amazing.
It's a great place to escape from the world. There are deer, black pigs, and poultry nearby. You can climb a small hill to the observation deck to enjoy the breeze, bask in the sun on a lounge chair, watch ducks swimming in the water, and see bubbles bursting in the sun. There's also a big, spoiled dog. The cafe is perfect for playing chess and reading. It's a perfect place to lie down and daydream. Falling asleep under the starry sky with the sound of gurgling water is quiet and comfortable. A light rain in the morning brings another scene. The breakfast is simple but delicious, especially the pickled vegetables I pickled myself. I like it here and will come again.

MuzisanshengTraveling solo, I chose The Landy Hotel, and it perfectly matched my aesthetic. The overall design features a simple, natural wood style with no excessive decoration. The room layout felt relaxed and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the garden view like a painting. The outdoor garden is meticulously maintained, with plants thoughtfully arranged and winding paths that make for a wonderfully quiet stroll, far from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities felt high-quality, and the staff were very friendly. I felt incredibly peaceful staying here all day – it’s a great place to unwind and recharge alone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Aranya.

Guest UserThe environment is good and the parking lot is large (with slow charging piles at about 1.5 CNY/kWh). The room is quiet, and the front desk staff are nice!
For dinner, it seems the restaurant mainly caters to group events and wedding banquets (if 10 is perfect, the food taste would be about 5-6/10; the price of liquor is roughly double what you'd pay outside).
The breakfast restaurant was chaotic with several tour groups. A few guests even got into arguments. I suggest putting a rope barrier from the entrance to the buffet counter, and having two staff members at the food stations to ensure everyone queues around the counter to pick their food, then directs them to the noodle station or seating areas. This would prevent arguments over queuing and grabbing tongs. It's such a minor issue, but the arguing made it impossible to enjoy the meal and even led to wasted food. 😤

A person driving from Chifeng plans to go to Saihanba to see. Originally, this hotel was not my first choice, but I clicked to see the hotel environment taken by netizens, and I lived here immediately! When I arrived at the hotel, the beauty in the photo appeared in front of me. In fact, you don't have to go to the surrounding attractions to enjoy the surrounding blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and green waters. I took advantage of the sunset and drove the car near the lake of Yanming and took some photos with the grass lake. The waiters in the store are also very warm and thoughtful, and the inquiries about my understanding of the surrounding attractions are also detailed recommendations.
When I checked out, I ignored the toiletries that I brought in the bathroom, and the store also contacted me in time. Finally, I asked them to help me express it home, thank you very much~

There are many night market stalls nearby offering grilled skewers and teppanyaki. There are also charging stations close by, and the hotel has free underground parking. The rooms are clean, and the service is excellent with very friendly staff. I've stayed here multiple times and am always very satisfied!

Robin LokeThe location is ideally situated, at about 200 meters from the main gate. Either walk the road to the Wall, not too steep, with plenty resting places. 20 minutes walk. There’s the Wall! Very well maintained and restored. We saw sunrise at 4:30 AM. They allow early entry and can organise a 5 minute lift to the Wall. Even at 4:00 AM. Amazing! The hotel provided breakfast, so after the sunrise and some hiking, it was very well appreciated.
