"This hotel is located right inside the North Gate of the Ancient City, making its location absolutely fantastic. Street parking is also very convenient. You can easily walk to the attractions within the Ancient City or use the bicycles provided by the hotel. The rooms are new, tastefully decorated, and smart, which feels wonderful. The disposable towels, bath towels, toothpaste, and toothbrushes provided are all of high quality. Breakfast is a set meal per person, light yet nutritionally balanced. And the owner's service is simply outstanding. On our last day, we left early and told them not to prepare breakfast, but they thoughtfully packed some snacks for us, worrying we might get hungry on the road. Highly recommended! If I get a chance to visit Datong again, I'll definitely consider staying here."

"陌上也是連鎖品牌，訂房備註的小要求好像與到店沒關係，以及套餐送的東西前台也沒提過。重點是地下停車不能直接到店，也沒電梯，必須要提着行李爬2層樓台階，走一小段才能到店。再説説前台，安排房間一波三折：我要二樓房，前台説二樓沒有我要的房型，來了個女前台説有，進房後發現小窗户，還對着牆，與我訂的房間不一致，這是第一次；第二次安排一樓房，打開房門我看到別的客人行李還在裏面；第三次窗户對着的是小道，對面是一個大鼓風機，時不時開啟幾分鐘，超級響，還有一條大黃狗，有人經過叫幾聲，算了我忍着關緊窗户住下了，第二天一早從6點多窗外就想起了音樂，無語😓。第一次宿舍感受這麼差。"

Amazing mansion. Well located in the heart of old city. Room is spacious and spotless. The bed was comfy and big. The girl at the front desk was amazing, friendly and helpful. Brreakfast was standard chinese style but enough to fill your energy. It would be better if add a western style breakfast. I would recommend to stay here.

Strongly push, strong push, strong push! What a humane, considerate and beautiful homestay! As soon as we booked the room, the owner contacted us to ask if we needed someone to pick us up from the airport. We didn't have to worry about being ripped off by a black car, and the guy enthusiastically helped with our luggage. When we arrived at the B&B, the owner heard that our child suffered from motion sickness, so he prepared motion sickness medicine and motion sickness patches for us. I was so touched. We left for the Hanging Temple early in the morning, and the boss packed breakfast for us and even brought milk for the baby! So thoughtful and heartwarming! The environment of the homestay is super good, and the facilities are very luxurious. The bedding is far better than that of a five-star hotel. They have thoughtfully prepared a lot of supplies, not only disposable bath towels, but also pure cotton disposable underwear and socks. I was shocked! They also thoughtfully prepared hair care essential oil, which is so fashionable. If the boss hadn’t introduced it to me, I wouldn’t have known what it was! It's very easy to use, smells good, and conditioners your hair without making it sticky. I immediately asked the owner for the link! There are also disposable mouthwash and makeup remover wipes, so you can check in without even bringing your luggage! This homestay is not only friendly to girls, but also considerate to boys. Shaving kits and hair mud are provided in the rooms. The owner should be too picky! The breakfast is super rich and the coffee is very delicious! The baby is having a lot of fun here! I am so moved by the customs and culture of Datong! Will come again!

A gem of a 民宿 located within the Datong old city walls. Conveniently located next to a plethora of good eats including 喜晋道 and the ever popular 霸王茶姬，the friendly yet non-intrusive service staff provided excellent service throughout of 4 day stay. Engaging their 商务车 for 2 days to explore around Datong was a great decision as the staff service extended to having hot beverages, biscuits and fruits ready for us coming in from the cold weather. The same service extends to breakfast for which a spread of home cooked dishes are made fresh daily. A great stay and highly recommended.

I am very satisfield with the service provided by the staff. The staff are warm and friendly. As for service, they help me to book DIDI and resolve transportation issue. Also recommend tourist sites and the route to take and explore as well as where to eat. I was also surprise by the staff who personally sent me to the High Speed Train Station due to miscommunication This show how committed the hotel management is to their guest. As for the room, it is clean and tidy. The bed is very comfortable. The toilet bowl comes with ultra voilet light and the daily upkeeping of my room is very satisfied. The hotel is very generous with free bottled water, fruits, coffee anf tea and supper to their guests. I would come back to this hotel to stay in my next trip and recommend this hotel to my friends. During our trip in China this was the most memorable Hotel. The hotel was really nice in the ancient city near the Prince residence and City Walls. The building has a traditional patio inside (covered) with a pool with fishes. The room was big, the bed very comfortable, nice bathroom, the room got all we needed for the stay (fridge, tea set etc...). Everyting vas very clean and tidy. The owner is really nice and caring, she came to pick us up at the station even if was late in the evening ad took us back at the check out. She helped us with our visit and suggested really good restaurants. The breakfast is in the nice patio, it is very good and traditional. I really hope I can visit again, I will surely suggest the hotel to my friends or anyone visiting Datong. Thank You!!!

Our stay at Yunqi Xiangshe was a truly delightful experience. The hotel is newly built, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home. The property offers private parking, which is very convenient, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the heart of the ancient city—an ideal location for exploring Datong. Each room is thoughtfully decorated, blending modern style with artistic touches that reflect the owner’s care and refined taste. Each morning, we were treated to a beautifully prepared breakfast, along with complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day. It’s those small, thoughtful details that really elevate the experience. In short, Yunqi Xiangshe is a perfect combination of comfort, style, and heartfelt hospitality. I would gladly recommend it to all my friends and look forward to returning again in the future

We had a great stay at this hot spring hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good amenities and a cozy bed. The hotel is about an hour’s drive from the famous Hanging Temple, and there’s a bus running between the Travelers Center and the hotel — just make sure to check the departure time with the front desk. The breakfast was nice, mainly Chinese-style dishes, and the variety was satisfying. The hot spring area isn’t the most impressive I’ve visited, but it was still wonderful to soak in a warm tub after a long day of hiking. Overall, a relaxing and comfortable stay — definitely a good choice if you’re exploring the area.
