Ascott Xuanwu Lake Nanjing
"Lovely hotel, clean and exceptionally well maintained. The concierge, front desk and housekeeping teams were all warm, friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The front desk and concierge staff were always present at the lobby, greeting guests warmly and proactively offering assistance whenever needed. A special mention to the housekeeping attendant on Level 4, who was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. She remembered exactly how I preferred my room to be arranged and consistently followed my preferences with great care. Every day, I would return to a beautifully cleaned and well-replenished room, which made the stay even more comfortable. Beyond the stay itself, I am especially grateful to Flora from the front desk for her outstanding assistance after my check-out. I had accidentally forgotten to update my Taobao delivery address, resulting in parcels being sent to the hotel while I was back in Singapore. Naturally, I was panicking, but Flora was incredibly kind and patient throughout the situation. She went out of her way to help liaise with the delivery personnel and assisted me in sorting out both the delivery and refund process. I am truly thankful for her help and kindness. Would definitely be back in the future.

"Sun - very nice hotel in centre of Nanjing. The hospitality was excellent and great service. It was nice to stay here and the room was clean."
Atour Hotel (Nanjing Fuzimiao Qinhuai cruise terminal)
"This was our first time staying with Atour, and unfortunately, our experience at Atour Nanjing Fuzimiao Qinhuai Cruise Terminal was truly disappointing. We booked 3 rooms in advance — two twin-bed rooms and one Executive City View King Room. We arrived at around 3.30pm expecting a smooth check-in experience, but the entire process became frustrating and exhausting. After waiting about 20 minutes, only the first room was ready. We were then informed that the second twin room would require another 20 minutes, while the Executive City View King Room would take an additional 30-45 minutes. We waited patiently and returned to the lobby after about an hour, only to be told that the Executive room was still not ready. The front desk then offered us an alternative king-bed room, but it came with a side view facing the parking area and the room was noticeably much smaller than the room category we had originally booked. We were genuinely disappointed with the arrangement and requested another replacement instead. The second room offered, located on Level 6, was again smaller in size and still did not match the room type we had reserved, so we declined it as well. In the end, after almost 2 hours of waiting and multiple room changes, we finally accepted a twin-bed city view room at around 6pm, even though it was still not the room type we had booked and paid for. Overall, the experience was extremely tiring and disappointing, especially after a long journey. The room arrangements appeared poorly managed, and the lack of preparation significantly affected our first impression of the Atour brand."
UrCove by HYATT Nanjing South Railway Station
"Had a wonderful stay here and was genuinely impressed by the overall experience. The room was modern, spotless and thoughtfully designed with a very comfortable bed, quality amenities and a cozy atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a long day. What truly stood out were the excellent complimentary services. The free laundry wash was incredibly convenient and such a thoughtful benefit for travelers. It made the stay much more comfortable and hassle-free. The light suppers provided were also a lovely touch. simple, tasty and perfect for winding down in the evening. Special appreciation to Ms Ong for her outstanding service. She responded to every request quickly, efficiently and with a warm attitude. Her professionalism and attentiveness really elevated the experience. Overall, this hotel offers great comfort, value, and service. I would gladly stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and well-managed stay."
Golden Eagle International Hotel
"From booking to check-in and check-out, every interaction with the front desk at Golden Eagle International Hotel was professional and thoughtful. My questions during booking were patiently answered in advance. Check-in was swift upon arrival, with clear directions provided. Check-out was efficient and quick, and they even proactively asked about my stay. Whether it was asking for directions, restaurant recommendations, storing luggage, or borrowing items, the front desk, Lumi, was always responsive and helpful. The service was standardized, professional, and gracious, making me feel comfortable and respected throughout my stay—exactly what you'd expect from a high-end hotel."

Lakeview Xuanwu Hotel
"This is an older hotel, I used to stay here for business trips to Nanjing when I first started working. It seems to have been renovated, as the soft furnishings have been upgraded, there's a smart toilet, and the room ventilation is good. Breakfast is served in the scenic restaurant upstairs, with a good variety of Chinese options. Xuanwu Lake is just across the road. It exceeded my expectations; there was no musty, old smell."
Jumeirah Nanjing
"The room was nice and quite spacious. All the hotel facilities are very new. However, getting takeout was a bit inconvenient. There's no one to deliver it to your room, nor any robots. You have to take an elevator down yourself to pick it up. The pool is indeed beautiful, it's about 20 meters long, not 25. The gym is also good."
Grand Metropark Nanjing
"The biggest advantage of this hotel is how much time it saves. From my room downstairs to the entrance of the Nanjing Museum, it literally took no more than six minutes. I went in and out three times in one day – saw a special exhibition in the morning, went back to the hotel to charge my phone at noon, explored the Republic of China section in the afternoon, and in the evening, after eating a bowl of noodles outside, I could still go back to grab something. Front desk staffer Xiao Wang was very thoughtful. Seeing my packed schedule during check-in, she proactively upgraded me to a room further inside, away from the elevator, so there was absolutely no noise. The room wasn't huge but was well-arranged, and the charging ports were right by both sides of the bed, which was perfect for a heavy phone user like me. I didn't book breakfast, which was great because I went to Kexiang instead and had glutinous rice balls with fried dough sticks and red bean dumplings for just over ten yuan. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nanjing; it's so convenient and hassle-free. The service was excellent, really good, I'll definitely come back next time."

Wanda Realm Nanjing
"I booked the room online, and it was quiet and comfortable with soft bedding. The hotel staff were polite and friendly. Across the street is Wanda Plaza, which is convenient for dining and shopping. The hotel's location is excellent, close to Metro Line 5, making it easy to get to the city center and tourist attractions. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it."
Nanjing Zhongshan Hotel (Jiangsu Conference Center)
"The renowned 307 Provincial Party Committee Guesthouse truly stands out from other hotels. It's the former site of the Republic of China's 'Lizhishe' (勵志社 - literally 'Aspiration Society'), featuring three palace-style buildings arranged in a 'pin' (品) character formation. With its red walls and green tiles, blending Chinese and Western architectural styles, it's a valuable relic from the Republic era, rich in both historical and architectural significance, definitely worth a visit. The hygiene is excellent, and transportation is very convenient. Just outside the lobby to the left is Taizhou's famous morning tea, which is incredibly handy. I'll definitely be staying at Zhongshan Hotel again next year for the Xianlin Half Marathon."
G·Hotel Nanjing
"What impressed me most about the G Hotel in Golden Eagle World was how clean and comfortable it was. As soon as I walked into the room, I noticed a fresh scent, and the sheets and towels were perfectly white and soft. The environment was very quiet with excellent soundproofing, allowing me to get a full night's sleep. You could tell the facilities were well-maintained; the smart toilet and electric curtains worked flawlessly. The service from Kuromi was natural and friendly, not overly enthusiastic, but always ready to help. My overall experience was very smooth, and I was actually a little reluctant to leave when checking out."
ParcVue Hotel Residence Nanjing
"The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, offering plenty of room for two people. It was also incredibly quiet. Robot delivery brings takeout right to your door, which is super convenient. Parking is both easy and free. With a commercial plaza right next door, dining options are plentiful and easily accessible. Plus, it's pet-friendly!"
New Jingli Hotel
"This was my second stay at Xinjingli, a convenient stopover during my May Day holiday trip. The hotel has a great style and ambiance, and the service is also quite good. It's especially well-suited for trips with girlfriends or family with kids. Next time, I'll make sure to check out the oil paintings."

Grand New Century Resort Gaochun Nanjing
"As a Nanjing native, this was my first time staying in a hotel in Nanjing, and it was a great experience. After spending two days playing in Gaochun, I chose this five-star hotel next to Gucheng Bay. I booked an executive lake-view room, and it was spacious and bright, exactly as I expected. The night view was also beautiful. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety, even during the Spring Festival. It's incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the Gucheng Bay scenic area. Gaochun Old Street is just across the street, so the hotel's location is truly exceptional. Overall, the stay was good. However, compared to some international chain five-star hotels, there's still a bit of a gap in service. Before 11:30 AM, the front desk called to ask if we were extending our stay, which felt a bit like they were rushing us out and made us feel uncomfortable. The hotel staff also didn't proactively greet guests much. I hope the hotel can improve its service in the future."
Nanjing N&S MEN DONG Hotel (Near Confucius Temple)
"It's a very well maintained hotel in the middle of the Lamendonng old village area. Top Location if you live Lamendong and the city wall of Nanjing"
Keyne Hotel Nanjing
"The hotel's guest services were incredibly attentive. They thoughtfully upgraded my room upon check-in, offering stunning views of Nanjing city, with the Hexi nightscape being particularly breathtaking! Highly recommended!"
Nanjing Olympic Sports Expo Center UEASY Hotel
"I forgot to take pictures of the hotel. I came for the Fish Leong concert, and it's just two subway stops to the stadium. A taxi takes about 10 minutes. The hotel is very clean, highly recommended for business travelers. When I checked in, the staff even upgraded my room. The super-sized bathtub was amazing; I could just float in it, washing away the day's fatigue~ I'll definitely choose this hotel again for future concerts!"

"Best golf and weather"

"Stayed for 4 nights. The hotel's soundproofing is excellent, keeping out the noise. Toiletries are high quality, and there's plenty of hot water. Housekeeping cleans punctually every day. For this area, it offers outstanding value for money, making it my top choice for business trips. The hotel stay was very comfortable. The front desk staff and all other employees were very polite and provided excellent service. The room was spacious. Facilities: Excellent. The breakfast was also delicious."
UrCove By Hyatt Nanjing Confucius Temple and Laomendong Resort
"I came to Nanjing for a relaxed, slow-paced trip and was unexpectedly charmed by the Atour Hotel (Nanjing Confucius Temple Laomendong). It completely cured me and made me fall in love with the unhurried, gentle ambiance of Jinling. The hotel is tucked away deep within the old city's vibrant atmosphere, nestled among the old streets and alleys. Its white walls and grey tiles create a beautifully arranged Jiangnan-style courtyard architecture, eschewing overly ornate and complex 'Guofeng' designs for a focus on elegant and refined Jiangnan aesthetic. The entire compound is built against a hill and along an alley, with exquisite Jiangnan garden landscaping throughout. White walls reflect bamboo, bluestone paths wind through, and trickling water flows around the courtyard. Evergreen plants are scattered artfully, and the overall color palette is simple and clean, exuding the unique gentle tranquility of Jiangnan. There's no commercial hustle and bustle, just the serene and relaxed feeling of time passing peacefully. Stepping through the ancient Chinese-style gate, it's as if you've instantly cut yourself off from the city's noise. Inside, winding paths lead to secluded spots, and wooden corridors meander among the greenery. In spring, a gentle breeze rustles through the courtyard, making the branches and leaves sway. Warm sunlight filters through carved window frames, casting dancing patterns of light and shadow on the bluestone ground. Every single frame is a gentle and healing Jiangnan scene. The miniature rockeries, flowing water, and elegant landscaping in the courtyard corners are delicate and exquisite. No filter is needed; every casual snapshot captures stunning, cool, and gentle 'Guofeng' atmospheric shots."
Jinfan Wanyuan Hotel
"Fantastic location, super close to the subway and attractions, making getting around incredibly convenient! The room was clean and odor-free, the bedding was comfortable and I slept soundly. The front desk staff were very friendly, and check-out was efficient. Excellent value for money, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nanjing!"
Yunji Chengxintang Resort Hotel (Nanjing Xuanwumen Branch)
"This is my second stay here, and the location is just perfect! My room has a direct view of Xuanwu Gate. The picture I've attached is a selfie taken from my hotel room. It's really close to the subway station, and a morning stroll around Xuanwu Lake is incredibly pleasant. The bedding is comfortable. They offer options for one-person breakfast, no breakfast, or two-person breakfast, which is great because it's not tied to a two-person breakfast package. The room was clean, and the service was excellent."
Jiangsu Phoenix Palace Hotel
"The hotel's location is excellent, and the room was clean and hygienic, making me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in. The view outside the window was also great, and the night view was beautiful. Most importantly, the butler service was very thoughtful; they even helped me upgrade my room type, which I really appreciate!"

Tips for Booking Nanjing Hotels
Book Ahead for Nanjing’s Busy Seasons
Nanjing is busiest during peak tourist seasons, such as the National Day holiday (October), Chinese New Year (January–February), and summer vacation (July–August). Hotels near the city centre, especially around Xinjiekou and Confucius Temple, can book up weeks in advance. Be prepared for higher prices during these periods.
Plan Around Local Festivals
Nanjing hosts several popular events that attract both locals and international tourists. The Nanjing Yangtze River International Half Marathon (March), the Nanjing Cherry Blossom Festival (March–April), and the Nanjing Qinhuai Lantern Festival (February) can lead to crowded streets and higher hotel rates, especially near the event locations.
Get More Value from Trip.com Offers
Look out for special promotions and discounted rates, like early bird deals or flash sales. Some hotels also offer added perks, such as free breakfast or cancellation options, which can save you money to spend on local experiences like exploring Nanjing’s historic sites or enjoying a river cruise.
Choose Your Base Wisely
If you're looking for convenience and easy access to transport, stay in Xinjiekou, the heart of Nanjing’s shopping and dining scene. For a more scenic stay with access to historical landmarks, opt for areas near Xuanwu Lake or the Qinhuai River. If you prefer a quieter, nature-focused stay, consider hotels near the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, where you can enjoy both peaceful surroundings and rich history.
