What Is the Seoul Arrival Card?

Seoul Arrival Card, also known as South Korea e-Arrival Card, is an online immgration declaration before arriving South Korea.

The e Arrival Card is the replacement of traditional paper arrival cards that are just free of charge and tourists do not need to print it anymore because it can access electronically.

You can fill it within 3 days before your trip using your phone or computer. It helps make immigration faster and smoother when you arrive whether at Incheon International Airport or Gimpo International Airport.

Do You Need a Seoul Arrival Card?

To enter Seoul, those who are require to submit e-Arrival Card is:

• Tourists without K-ETA
• Visa Holders

While, who may no need to submit is:

• K-ETA holders
• South Korea citizens
• Foreign residents with valid residence card

Documents Required for Seoul E-Arrival Card

How to Apply for the Seoul Arrival Card

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

• Go to the official Korea e‑Arrival Card website👉 https://www.e-arrivalcard.go.kr/portal/main/index.do
• Click on “e‑Arrival Card” from the menu at the top.

Step 2: Agree to Terms and Conditions

• Just click “Agree to all” and leave your email address.

Step 3: Enter Your Personal Details

Fill in your basic information, including:

• Full name (as shown in your passport)
• Nationality
• Passport number
• Passport expiration date
• Date of birth

Step 4: Add Your Travel Information

Except for the basic information, you will also need to submit detailed travel information, including:

• Flight number (inbound to Korea)
• Date of arrival and depature
• Port of entry (e.g. Incheon Airport)
• Purpose of visit (e.g. tourism, business)
• Expected length of stay (in days)
• Name of your hotel, Airbnb, or place you’re staying
• Job

Step 5: Review and Submit

• Check all the information is correct. Then click “Submit”. You’ll get a confirmation screen. Take a screenshot just in case you need to show it on arrival.

What Happens After Arrival?

Once you arrive at Incheon International Airport or another international airport in South Korea:

1. Proceed to immigration
2. Present your passport
3. Immigration officers will verify your e-Arrival Card electronically
4. Complete fingerprint and facial recognition if required
5. Enter Seoul

When to Submit Seoul e-Arrival Card?

The best time to submit is 1–2 days before your departure. This gives you enough time to fix any errors and avoids last-minute panic (or internet issues at the airport). The submission window opens 72 hours before your arrival in Korea, so you can’t submit earlier than that—but you can do it on the day of arrival if you forget (though we don’t recommend it, as it might slow down your immigration process).

• You can submit on:
• • The day of arrival (before immigration inspection)
  • One day prior
  • Two days prior

What if your plans change?

• If you don't enter Korea within 72 hours of submission, your e-Arrival Card becomes invalid then you must submit a new one
• If you change flights or accommodation after submission, resubmit a new e-Arrival Card with updated information
