4-Star Hotels in Jiangsu, China

This hotel is just two subway stops from Nanjing South Station, which is great, especially on a hot day, as you don't have to walk far to catch a ride-sharing service. It's been almost ten years since I last stayed at a Courtyard, and I feel like the facilities aren't as good as I remember. Perhaps back then, I hadn't stayed in as many good hotels. With company travel budgets tighter now, I can't stay at Marriotts, so I opted for Courtyard this time. Honestly, I don't think it's as good as some of IHG's economy brands like Voco or Holiday Inn Express. I didn't eat much breakfast, but it looked decent.

The hotel is right on Pingjiang Road. The entrance isn't very obvious, making it a bit hard to find. However, the concierge proactively called us beforehand with the hotel's location and even came out to help with our luggage, which was great. The decor is clearly a thoughtfully designed Republican-era style. The room was spotlessly clean. I initially thought it would be noisy since it's by the road, but they've installed double-paned windows, making it incredibly quiet. The staff were always proactive and helpful with anything we needed, which I was very impressed with. The lobby decor is also quite interesting, and the night view is beautiful. We walked to Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Grove Garden during the day, which was very convenient. If we have the chance to visit again, we'll definitely choose this place. We originally booked a Republican-style king room, but we really wanted a river view, so the concierge temporarily switched us to a standard room overlooking the river since there were no river-view king rooms available. Highly recommended!

Great location,easy to get around it’s walking distance to the best food street ,all well known Nanjing cuisine can be found here Walking distance to wudingmen metro station to and from Nanjing station ,just few steps away we can position ourselves for didi /taxi The hotel is located in the area maintaining Traditional Chinese architecture , decoration and greenery ,great for photography we got the room with a beautiful backyard full of plants and blossoms of flowers and a tray of welcome tea after checked in, the bed and pillows are comfortable ,showers is nice and warm Light Chinese breakfast served is good enough to start a day and not too much for the delicious Nanjing lunch later on:-) The girls at front desk are very friendly and sweet they were always ready to help The owners I guess who were on night shift were polite and respectful Overall we had a great time here thank you

The hotel upgraded my room upon arrival. The mattress was very comfortable, and the duvet cover was supposedly a patented product. The Lee Chang-yu Criminal Investigation Museum near the hotel is highly recommended!

I brought my child to Suzhou Art Center for a competition, and since the hotel is right next to the center and has a great environment, we decided to stay here for our entire trip to Suzhou. The hotel staff were warm and attentive. On our first day, we arrived before check-in time, and the front desk immediately arranged for housekeeping to clean a room so we could rest and drop off our belongings. The cleaning staff were also very friendly, making sure to change towels, empty trash, and replenish supplies as thoroughly as possible every day. Breakfast was a semi-buffet, with half à la carte and half self-service; though not extensive, the variety was exquisite. The hotel facilities were also quite comprehensive, with a laundry room, cafe, and gym readily available. Located by Moonlight Dock and close to Eslite Spectrum, there were plenty of dining and entertainment options. The Suzhou Art Center next door also has a subway station, making transportation very convenient. Finally, taking photos at the hotel was amazing – a truly satisfying trip! 🥰🥰🥰

Bring your family to Yangzhou to participate in the marathon, and experience the beauty of Yangzhou in March of fireworks! When booking a room, I thought about getting closer to the starting point and finding this hotel. The unexpected stay experience made us feel what it is to be at home! The staff's service is warm and thoughtful, and the fruit and competition refueling package are specially presented! The hotel is fully equipped and the rooms are elegantly decorated. Because the marathon starts early, the hotel also serves breakfast in advance, and the breakfast category is quite rich! The hotel even provided a shuttle bus to send us to the starting point! After running back, I ate directly at the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. Huaiyang specialties were very delicious! Thank you very much for the thoughtful service of the hotel staff to let me go smoothly in Yangma PB! Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will choose Mingfa Hotel!

From the subway, it's just 5 stops to Suzhou Museum and Humble Administrator's Garden. Downstairs, you'll find a food market and various shops. **Hotel Features and Experiences** 1. **Japanese Garden Design**: The common areas are designed in a Japanese garden style. The 7th-floor lobby terrace offers scenic views. The overall decor is quaint and elegant, perfect for photo opportunities. 2. **Prime Location**: Adjacent to attractions like Shantang Street and Shilu Pedestrian Street, both within walking distance. There's a rich selection of dining and shopping options nearby, making travel convenient. 3. **Unique Room Types**: Some rooms feature Japanese tatami mats and private onsen-style bathtubs. Toiletries are individually packaged, with some being from the L'Occitane brand. 4. **Attentive Service Details**: Guests have mentioned receiving a **Juangong fan** as a souvenir upon check-out, and the staff are proactive and enthusiastic. 5. **Quiet Facilities**: The in-room air conditioning is praised for being efficient and quiet. The facilities are relatively new, and the overall cleanliness is good.

The hotel is located in Qingjiangpu, on Huaihai Road, very close to Qingjiang Dam, which is great for a walk. The Fairfield by Marriott has good facilities and is quite new; overall, I recommend it – you won't be disappointed. The breakfast and services are similar to those at Holiday Inn Express or Hampton by Hilton, all very good. The only drawback is its location, which is about ten kilometers away from key attractions. A one-way taxi ride costs around 30 yuan daily. For convenience, staying in Huai'an District would be relatively better, as you can reach nearby attractions by shared bicycle, whereas staying in Qingjiangpu is not as convenient.

The room was clean and had a unique charm. The hostess was lovely and incredibly thoughtful. I've already booked for next year! My trip was a bit rushed this time, so I didn't get to fully appreciate all the creative touches at Zhoushuang Life Inn. I'll save that for next year's visit.

Chose this hotel for a trip to Nanjing with a friend. The location is unbeatable—right in the center of Xinjiekou, with subway stations and shopping malls just steps away. Eating, drinking, and entertainment are all super convenient. The front desk staff were very nice, check-in was swift, and they were quick to respond whenever we needed anything. It's a hassle-free place to stay when traveling with friends, and I’ll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Nanjing.
