Facilities: This is an old hotel, and the facilities are all quite dated, from the floors to the cabinets and tables. It's quite odd that there's no restroom in the lobby on the first floor; you either have to walk several minutes back to your room or go to a nearby restaurant.
Cleanliness: I didn't take a picture of the small round coffee table, but it was very dirty. I even found bugs in the bathroom!
Environment:
Exterior: There's a karaoke bar either upstairs or downstairs. It's fine at night, but really noisy in the morning! Although we were warned about this at check-in, what good is a warning then? It's not like you can change hotels with all your luggage.
Interior: I've never seen a hotel like this. After getting off the elevator, you have to walk for about two minutes, winding around corners, just to get to your room. The layout design is definitely problematic!
Breakfast: The variety was very limited, but everything tasted pretty good.
Service: Still commendable.

Choosing the right hotel for a trip to Suzhou is so important! Andu is tucked away in the heart of the old city of Gusu, super close to Shantang Street and Guanqian Street on foot, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and dining. The location is great, and the service is attentive. The lobby is elegant and stylish, and the rooms have excellent natural light; you can open the window and feel the vibrant atmosphere of the old city. The bedding is so comfortable that I had a wonderful night's sleep. The front desk proactively provided travel tips, and the complimentary pick-up service was incredibly thoughtful. The public area's book bar is fantastic for photos, and it's both clean and reassuring. You can relax and unwind, or easily check out the local attractions. This is a must-stay when visiting Suzhou!

This was my first time visiting Suzhou, and after a lot of comparison, I chose this hotel. It exceeded my expectations! The subway station is right outside the entrance, making it super convenient to get around. Humble Administrator's Garden is also just a kilometer away, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. They help with luggage, and the fully automated smart features are very impressive. The robot food delivery also made me feel quite secure. Service attitude was top-notch, and the housekeeping staff were very diligent. When I returned, I found the room spotless, everything that needed changing was changed, and the floor was even mopped. Any issues were promptly resolved, leaving me with a truly great impression. I've already saved this hotel on Ctrip, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Suzhou!
On a side note, the steamed bun shop by the entrance is incredibly delicious. I really loved their buns, and the lady who runs it is also super nice! đ„°

The hotel is quite decent and has basic facilities. Although there are few parking spaces, you can still park early. There are many shops around, so you don't have to worry about places to eat and drink. The hotel is worth the room price.

Fantastic location with parking available. Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) is just a short walk away, and the area is packed with great food options. Plus, there's a well-stocked convenience store right downstairs for anything you might need. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Nanjing.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Dayoujing and is easy to find. There's also a small shopping mall downstairs. The hotel occupies floors 42 to 49; the entire building houses various hotels on different floors, which means there's a constant flow of diverse guests. The rooms with a view are decent; being on a high floor, you can get a glimpse of the city lights at night, though there isn't really a 'scenic' view to speak of. Hotel service was average. When I called the front desk for extra water, they informed me there's a hotel policy of only providing four bottles per day, which was not stated on the booking page. However, the room itself was clean and quiet, which was a definite plus.

This trip to Changzhou was full of pleasant surprises! The Yuncheng Yiju Hotel, in particular, far exceeded my expectations!
The hotel was clean and comfortable, the rooms were spacious and bright, and the amenities were modern. The service was incredibly attentive too. Its location was very convenient, not far from any of the attractions, and offered excellent value for money!
The most exciting part was that if you buy a ticket to Changzhou Dinosaur Park right now, you also get a free ticket to the Water Park! One ticket for two amazing parks â what a fantastic deal! The immersive dinosaur-themed attractions and shows at Dinosaur Park made us feel like we'd traveled back to the Jurassic period, and the Water Park was a perfect summer paradise for water fun. Both adults and children had such a blast they didn't want to leave!
On the second evening, we visited the Cultural Plaza. Not only was the architecture stunning and perfect for photos, but we also caught a free outdoor concert! The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. Enjoying local delicacies while listening to the music instantly filled me with a sense of pure travel bliss!
I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Changzhou. Everything was well-planned, allowing us to have a blast without any worries. I'll definitely be back!

This is our go-to spot every time we visit Suzhou, thanks to its excellent location, refreshing showers, and elegant room ambiance. Day or night, the hotel's sign acts like a beacon, guiding us safely and clearly. For these reasons, I really don't want to rate it too low. However, the hotel's facilities are simply not on par with 5-diamond or luxury hotels. The service here is purely transactionalâguests check in, guests leave, no fuss, no farewellâwhich makes it hard to give them high marks!

Stayed for one night and was incredibly satisfied! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Suzhou~
đ Amazing Location: Just a few minutes' walk to Suzhou Museum and the Humble Administrator's Garden, and Pingjiang Road is only about ten minutes away. When you're tired from exploring, you can always pop back to the hotel to rest, or even take a nap at lunchtime. This kind of convenience is so valuable when traveling!
đ€ Heartwarming Service: The owner and staff were all super friendly. What touched me the most was when I heard there were no escalators going down to the subway, a young man voluntarily helped me carry my luggage all the way to the station... Such small details really stick with you.
đż Cozy Atmosphere: The courtyard is beautifully designed, quiet yet charming â a true oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle. After a day of sightseeing, sitting in the courtyard for a bit felt so relaxing.
If I come back to Suzhou, I'll definitely choose this place again. It's a hidden gem of a hotel with warmth and a fantastic location~

Couldn't believe how quiet the room was, especially in such a bustling area. I checked in late at night, and Xiao Yu at the front desk processed everything quickly and kindly reminded me about breakfast times. The mattress was just right, not too soft, not too firm, and I slept like a log. The freshly made noodles for breakfast were a warm and comforting touch. After a long day of sightseeing, this place was the perfect pit stop.

XXavierasyI booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby.
The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt.
The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone.
The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!
GGuest UserI booked this hotel because I wanted to try out this style, and overall, I was quite satisfied with the experience. The only minor drawback was that the location was a bit hard to find at first; after parking the car at the entrance of Pingjiang Road, we had to walk a distance, and the ground was uneven, which made it a bit challenging with luggage.
On the day of check-in, the front desk surprised us with an upgrade to a room with a bathtub, which was a really pleasant surprise. The front desk staff also had an excellent attitude, making us feel very well taken care of.
Additionally, upon check-in, thoughtful touches like small cookies, fruit, yogurt, and a welcome card were provided. These little details really enhanced the experience.
The only thing is that the lighting in the room was a bit dim. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't know how to operate it, or if it was designed that way. It would have been perfect if the lighting brightness could be adjusted.

LlwkengWe booked the family room with 2 king bed room for our whole trip in Nanjing and the hotel truly is not disappointing.
The hotel is very clean and close to the Laomendong attractions. All are within walking distance. Nearby attractions are also a lot and easily reachable in short distant. Food and restaurant is not a problem.
The room has all the amenities and most importantly free laundry service is available which is important for my family travel for longer days as we do not need to bring a lot of clothes.
The owner is friendly and provided suggestions to our places to visit as well. Breakfast is inclusive. Even though simple, good enough to start for the day without needing to look for food before going out.
Overall a good and pleasant experience with our stay.
GGuest UserNow, I can sit here and tell you that weâre staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though youâre inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak thereâs an international summit going on here.
Somehow that wonât speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because theyâre always around.
In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, âNÇ hÇo Marshaâ from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room.
When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of Chinaâs ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldnât have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture?
Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you canât just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when theyâre cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc.
Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us.
These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.
MM224225****It's absolutely no surprise this B&B has been crowned the most beautiful in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town for several years running! The owner's design perfectly blends ancient charm with modern comfort; every single corner is a picturesque delight, offering endless photo opportunities. What truly touched my heart was the proprietress's exceptional kindness. She welcomed us with refreshing watermelon and snacks right when we arrived, and even had more thoughtfully prepared for us after a long day of exploring. The beautifully designed courtyard, complete with fish, turtles, and a swimming pool, adds so much character. It genuinely offers a unique and enchanting take on the classic beauty of a Jiangnan water town.
GGuest UserThe hotel environment is great, and the location is absolutely superb. It's very close to the subway station, making it super convenient for both tourism and business trips. The rooms are clean, tidy, spacious, and bright â I had a really pleasant stay. The restaurant on the 4th floor offers a rich variety for breakfast, and there are plenty of dining options nearby as well. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
AAnonymous UserExtended my stay for two more days and it was truly excellent! From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was so thoughtful. They greeted me politely, the hygiene was meticulously maintained, and the facilities had a cozy, home-like feel. They even gave me a small gift upon check-out, which was a lovely touch.

Stayed for two nights in Nanjing with my elderly mother for a weekend getaway. The location is very convenient. It's just a short walk to Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) and also very close to the West Gate entrance of the Egret Island Park Lantern Festival.
Before our arrival, they called to inquire about our estimated check-in time and informed us about the limited parking availability.
Breakfast had everything one could ask for. My personal favorites, freshly made noodles and coffee, were available, and there were several kinds of fruit. The freshly prepared duck blood vermicelli soup was quite tasty.
We received a complimentary upgrade to a family room, and it was lovely to have the morning sun shining in. The room was cleaned promptly, and they refilled our bottled water several times. Thumbs up! đ
MM542914****An excellent experience! The hotel is incredibly grand, almost like a shopping mall when you first enter. The front desk staff was wonderful, and even helped upgrade my room. Extending my stay directly with the hotel was cheaper than booking through a platform, which was a great deal. Plus, after I extended my stay, the staff came to clean the room, which made me feel very secure. They even knock before entering, which is a nice touch. The room itself was large, very clean, and felt quite luxurious. All the facilities made for a very comfortable stay. There's a big desk that's perfect for a laptop and working, and it has a window. The soundproofing is fantastic; you can open it for fresh air and then close it for complete quiet. It's ideal for studying!
