My husband and | just spent one nights at Tune Hotel and our experience was great from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The check-in process was seamless, and the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our room was s clean and modern. The bed was comfortable - we slept wonderfully every night.

I and my hubby stayed at 16 floor, sea view and city view. Nice view from my room. Everything is good. Except :  there is no power point at coffee service table. I have to bring the kettle to another power point to boil the water for coffee.  Air-conditioning has abit of noise when comes to low temperature and fan power. Could have bathrobe would be better.  Private bathroom, the glass door is not tight enough when close . Water will flow out and the whole toilet is “ flooded “.  There is no bathroom tissues. If provides would be very nice. No face towel, if can provide will be perfect .  Coffee bag is nice when make with half cup of water.  Staffs are very helpful and friendly.  Will come again if going JB. And I also recommend to my friends and relatives once I came back SG.  Hopefully, what I have mentioned above, next trip will see the difference.

I’m giving this hotel 3 stars because it delivers exactly that — a textbook 3-star experience. If you’re walking from JB CIQ, take a moment to pray for your luggage wheels. The cobblestone pavement on the way is a certified durability test for any suitcase. The reception staff, to their credit, were professional and efficient, setting the stay off on a positive note. There’s no air-conditioning in the corridors on the way from the lobby to the rooms, which makes sense once you feel the lobby itself — it’s cooled to near polar conditions, possibly at the expense of the upper floors. The lobby even has a convenience stall with tables and chairs — great for a quick snack or late-night instant noodle run. The fact that they sell noodles complete with disposable bowls almost makes it feel planned. I stayed on the 19th floor in a room that could politely be described as functional. It came with two sockets, a few hangers in an open closet, and no mini-fridge, so don’t bring anything perishable unless you plan to eat it immediately. The vinyl flooring showed signs of wear, and a quick look under the bed revealed a generous collection of dust. The AC was the old-school fan coil type, and thankfully, it worked perfectly fine. The bathroom, however, turned into an adventure of its own. The shower head was fixed in place, the glass partition far too short, and the result was a small-scale water park after every shower — fun only if you enjoy slipping hazards. The toilet needed a two-flush routine, and the bidet hose leaked enough to make using it a careful balancing act. Then there was the Great Towel Shortage. Despite two guests, we received one face towel. There was no hand soap either — only the all-purpose shampoo dispenser in the shower. When housekeeping came, they simply rehung the used towels instead of replacing them. The lone face towel, which I’d pressed into service to mop up the flooded floor, was removed and never replaced. We ended up with just two towels for our second night. I was too tired to argue. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise — the buffet was reasonably priced and had a good range of options. Overall, this hotel is best suited for travelers who can adapt and aren’t thrown off by a few inconveniences. If you’re the kind of person who enjoys finding creative solutions when things don’t go perfectly, you might even appreciate it here. But if you’re after consistent comfort, you’ll probably want to look elsewhere. Staying here is a bit like driving a reliable car with no seat cushions — it gets you where you need to go, but the ride won’t be entirely comfortable.

Have stayed here many times in 2025 and the Hotel has never failed to satisfy in terms of location, cleanliness and spaciousness. Since we stayed over on New Year's Eve, we were treated to beautiful fireworks at the stroke on midnight. It was a 15mins display of dazzling fireworks which was a really good start to 2026.

It was a last minute decision for me to choose a room because all the other rooms were full except for the family room. I was very disappointed from the moment I stepped into the room because there were a lot of hairs on the mattresses and pillows on the two beds and one of the blankets smelled like it hadn't been changed. The hair dryer didn't work but the room was clean. I would like you to improve the bed sheets, blankets and pillow cases because I think every customer who uses the service wants to find a clean hotel. The counter staff was good. I give a thumbs up for this.

First attempt to stay solo but unfortunately the night market is only open on Tuesday according to the hotel so in the absence of facilities, I decided to check out at night. Next round will try a 4* hotel.

I had specifically requested a room away from the elevator in my notes to the hotel, but this was not accommodated. The room was fully equipped, but the layout was cramped, making it feel claustrophobic. The shower was the highlight; the water pressure was strong and the temperature was perfect, which was very comfortable.

I stayed here for a quick trip to JB, and honestly, if you're looking for something affordable and super close to the main action, this hotel is a solid choice. It's definitely best for a short stopover where you just need a clean, comfortable place to crash. 👍 What I Loved (The Highs): Amazing Value: I felt like I got great bang for my buck. The prices were really competitive for the area. Location is Key: Getting around was super easy. It’s just a 10-15 minute walk to the CIQ (Checkpoint) and big malls like City Square and Komtar JBCC. Free Parking: If you drove over, the free, covered private parking was a massive relief and made everything so much smoother. Friendly Faces: The staff at the front desk were genuinely friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. Sleep Quality: My bed was comfortable, and those blackout curtains really did their job. I slept great!

As a business traveler, I found the hotel to be clean, well maintained, and comfortable for both rest and work. The room was tidy and quiet, providing a suitable environment to focus after a long day. Check-in and check-out were efficient, which I really appreciated given a tight schedule. The location was convenient, and basic amenities met my needs for a short business stay. Overall, it was a reliable and pleasant experience.

SSchwarzmaSmall hotel located near a bunch of food, basic needs and hobby stores no less. Aircon was cold, water heater worked while shampoo, shower cap and dental kits provided. Hotel looks pretty old in some corner and the room floor looked a little dirty but was not sticky. Good if ur just looking for a place to crash but don't expect luxury. Overall a comfy and quiet place to stay

AAnonymous UserWe stayed in the family room, which had one queen-size bed and two single beds — all were very comfortable. The location was excellent, and the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. If you’re a light sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs, as a few motorcycles passed by around 2 a.m. and briefly woke our kids.

GGuest UserThe room is nice, and the hotel service is good. However, one thing that bothered me was the bedsheet. Although it was clean, it had some stains. I requested a change, but the new bedsheet also had stains, though fewer. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and worth the money.

GGuest UserTo tell you my honest review as your guide! I seldomly give review, but this time I give time. 1) Upon arrival it is only easy to locate, we just book grab. But upon check-in it is do-it-yourself, you must have a internet data to communicate with the person in-charged. It is via watsapp! 2) Don't go to the room first. Communicate with them outside, no internet signal on the building. You must have local/E-banking for your deposit. 3)They gave you the details needed to open the room after u sent the depo. They will asked you to open the mail box for you to get the key card. End up we never saw any key card. Lol so we need to input the code every-time we go in-out the room! Inconvenient! They say someone will come to pass as key card but for our 2 nights stay their no one come! Marvellous! Lol 4) Common room toilet door is malfunctioning! Can't locked! We tried to locked end up my cousin locked up inside. What an experience! 🙌 5) The unit it-self is quite clean, just don't go on the veranda area. Got washing and all. 6)On their details says 2 pools indoor & outdoor. Sadly it is only outdoor, at the C2 area... Guess what? It is under maintenance. So funny! We go their just to enjoy the wholesome place but end up such a disappointing place. 7) Outside the building got shuttle you can freely use. Guards their are very friendly, asked them they'll guide you. It has a duty free area, expect lower prices of alcohol. 8) They only got 1 stove induction cooker. With a over used rice cooker pot, yes only pot no rice cooker itself. Hahahahaha Take-it-or-leave-it! Inconvenient! Not for family use. 9) Upon check out they asking for key card we never even had! Hahahaha So we just turn of the main-switch and locked the door. We left the unit clean and tidy. The rubbish bags left outside the veranda not to stinks the whole unit. 10) End up accusing us we took 2 of small towels even tho we didn't! Crazy. Who would take unhygienic towels we don't even know who are those random millions of people use already! We checked-out 3days ago until now we haven't received the deposit that 24-hours upon check-out they'll refund! Stop blaming us for your small towels! Better improve your service! CIAO!

BBrenna ChuangOverall, the experience was quite pleasant, and the staff were all very friendly. I didn’t see any slippers in the room, but you can collect them from the front desk in the G lobby. The room provided a directory of nearby shopping areas and restaurants, and I really liked the scent of the shampoo they offered. The room was fairly clean, though the shower facilities may need some maintenance since the showerhead couldn’t stay in place. I also noticed reviews mentioning that the hot water wasn’t warm enough. Honestly, if you expect very hot water for showering, that might not be realistic. But for me, it was still warm and usable, and overall the bathroom was clean. The room had a nice view, and there was a chair by the window where you could sit and watch the egrets. The TV was somewhat disappointing, as it only offered local channels with limited options and no access to other networks. Another thing worth mentioning is that some earlier reviews said the air-conditioning wasn’t cold enough and was noisy. My experience was the opposite—it was definitely cold. Even with the temperature set to 21°C, it still felt chilly, though it was comfortable once I was under the blanket. The bed was comfortable, but the bedsheets may need to be replaced, since white fabric makes any stains very noticeable. I unexpectedly fell asleep early and had a very restful night. In the morning, I definitely didn’t want to miss breakfast, since that was one of the things I was looking forward to. The selection was quite good, though the drinks felt a bit limited for me. The rooftop sky garden had no lighting at night, so I decided not to go up. Before checking out in the morning, I went to take a look. The space isn’t very big, and it’s a pity that much of the view is blocked by wooden decorations, though the other side has a nice open view. There’s also a small lounge area in the G lobby with drinks and snacks. Drinks naturally attract ants, so I did notice some—but it was still within expectations. So my ratings are: Overall ★★★★☆ Cleanliness ★★★★☆ Service ★★★★★ Facilities ★★★☆☆ (3.5 stars) Breakfast ★★★★☆
