5-Star Hotels in Kerala, India

The hotel is chic location, the room was taken in the main building. Beautiful and well-designed area, the staff are welcoming, always interested in our wishes. The pool is small but the rooms with a garden view and clubs have their pools, so people were few, quietly it was possible to lie on the lying. I didn't like the obsessive taxi drivers at the entrance to the hotel. Called the Uber, so they didn't let the driver pick us up! It was necessary to climb a little higher (toward the Gokolam Hotel) and only there we were able to get in the car. Very unpleasant, and for a hotel of such class it is not clear why they allow the parking of a taxi, felt not safe! Be aware that if you use the cleaner, the driver will not be able to go to the territory of the hotel and even to the gate, you need to go higher on the road, only there you can sit in the car, passing this mafia of taxi drivers.

Located 2km form kovalom beach but can walk there Typical Indian standard 4 stars Hotel setting and if got group the pool congested and busy wedding function. Breakfast limited non vegetarian menu.

From the 3 days from check-in to check-out, every moment was like returning home, being cared for and cherished by the ”family and friends” team. Everyone at the front desk was very enthusiastic, and they would not be perfunctory even if there was a wedding on the night of check-in. Not to mention the rich breakfast, the serving guys and girls were all handsome, beautiful and kind-hearted. The buffet dinner was also delicious. The design of the Thai restaurant (the last few photos) really amazed me. However, the biggest surprise was the cleaning team! Not only did they carefully do what they should do, but they also prepared flowers and vases for me with care, and left warm words. I heard their laughter in the workroom several times. The customer service manager, a beautiful lady, also hit it off with me. Knowing that I had to catch the morning flight, she prepared free tea for me before I left. After so many years of traveling, this time is the ultimate! I highly appreciate the leadership of the management, and I will definitely stay here again if I go to Kochin next time

Bad welcome! At the time of check in, forget the welcome and welcome drink, we were offered a city view room whereas we had booked for the Pool View ( better view and more price) room.( Approximately Rs 15,000 / USD 150 per night ) We were made to go up and down two times to check different rooms. The staff at the reception tried his best to offer less priced room with additional benefit of Lounge access. Only when we put our foot down, we were offered the room we paid for only after 1 hour of wait. We checked in at 6:00pm finally. I never understood the logic behind not allotting the room which paid for. Be sure not to book this hotel during the Season ( Christmas vacation). It is highly chaotic during this season. Room service was good. The room was clean. Room offered a great pool view. We booked the New Year Poolside Party with them which was absolutely let down. Bad music and average food and below average drink options. Highlight is Breakfast and the staff is courteous. Stay here if you get good deals.

Best part of my hotel stay was at the hotel restaurant. Dined there for dinner and breakfast and the food was good. Particularly, the breakfast buffet had a good spread. The service at the restaurant, from that of the chefs to the waiters was delightful and friendly. Special mention to the thoughtful service from Sourav, Rajesh Bhakat, Srideep and Triloka!

Housekeeping in the room was not up to the mark and we were quite disappointed. Shower Gel and Tissue were not replaced and the shower area got clogged … despite complaining it wasn’t fixed. The Tea Pods were not replenished in the Mini Bar. In general housekeeping in room was not up to Taj standards we have been used to !

We recently stayed at the O by Tamara. Excellent experience overall. Loved the personal and welcoming service from everyone and special mention to chef Vipin. He was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks to the entire team.

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn yesterday. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and created a really comfortable atmosphere. A special mention to Sanika, who was extremely customer-friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Her professionalism and warm approach made the experience even better. I also appreciated the hotel’s excellent follow-up, ensuring that everything was going smoothly. Overall, a truly pleasant and satisfying stay – highly recommended!
