I arrived in Nanchang West by high-speed train from Guangzhou East at 10 PM. I took the subway (the last train runs quite late) and then rode a shared electric bike to the hotel. The hotel itself was nice. It's located just across the road from the Pavilion of Prince Teng scenic area. From my room window, I could see the auxiliary buildings of the Pavilion and also the Ganjiang River, where the buildings function as a cruise terminal.
The next morning, I went to explore around the Pavilion of Prince Teng and along the Ganjiang River for some photos. When you're outside by the river, you can only get a side view of the Pavilion; you can't see the full panorama without going inside. Whether or not to climb the Pavilion is a personal choice; I didn't go up. There are paid performances regularly scheduled in front of the Pavilion, which might be interesting to some, but I skipped them.
After a quick wander, I headed to Nanchang's famous shopping street, Wanshou Palace. The Wanshou Palace area is a comprehensive pedestrian street with restricted vehicle access at certain times. I arrived early, so I could ride my electric bike in. I believe there are times when it's completely closed to traffic all day, and other times when it's restricted from afternoon to evening. It's a great place for those who enjoy shopping and trying out local eats. I saw long queues at some popular网红 (internet-famous) or established restaurants when I passed by at lunchtime.
After that, I went directly to visit the August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall. It requires online reservations, and I heard it can be hard to book on holidays. Since I went on a weekday and early, I was able to book on-site. The security guard mentioned that during peak season, traffic gets completely jammed. I definitely think visiting the August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall is a must when in Nanchang.
In the afternoon, I took the subway to the Jiangxi Provincial Museum, which also requires advance reservations. They offer free locker storage, and it's a very worthwhile museum with a rich collection. The Jiangxi Provincial Library is right next door, but unfortunately, it was closed on the day I visited.
In the evening, I returned to the hotel and took a stroll along the Ganjiang River, enjoying the night views of the river and the Pavilion of Prince Teng. I also explored some nearby cultural and creative shops. I found a local Nanchang restaurant specializing in Jiangxi cuisine at an intersection near the hotel. I ordered some stir-fried dishes; they were made with a variety of ingredients, beautifully colored, and while the red and green peppers looked spicy, the flavor was actually very rich and not overly hot, perfect for those who enjoy a bit of spice but can't handle extreme heat.
I actually quite like Nanchang and am looking forward to tomorrow's itinerary, which includes Minyou Temple, Bayi Park, and Bayi Square.

The butler service was excellent; they contacted me before check-in and provided a very detailed guide, which I really appreciated. The hotel breakfast was substantial, and the baggage service was great, with staff bringing luggage directly to the room. However, the room was very small. I specifically booked the Cuiwei room, but it had no view, and the window was tiny. I guess the main benefit is being able to stay late in the scenic area and having a convenient place to crash. The complimentary photography session with Bojue Travel Photography only provided outfits, and each room received five free photos. Makeup and styling had to be purchased separately, and the outfits had to be returned immediately after the shoot. It's not as good value for money as places outside the scenic area.

The room was really comfortable, and even though it faced the street, the soundproofing was excellent. The guy at the front desk was super enthusiastic and even upgraded our room for free, knowing we had a child, which made our stay even more comfortable. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we're in town!

The location is great, within walking distance to Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative Block. It's so convenient to walk there for night views and the market in the evening. Getting to other attractions is also easy; it only takes about ten minutes by taxi to the Imperial Kiln Museum and Sanbao Village. The hotel service was excellent; originally, the room only included one breakfast, but when we checked in, they saw there were two of us and proactively added another one. It was also very quiet at night. I'm very satisfied with this trip.

This hotel is located in Guling Town, right on top of Mount Lu. It was my first time visiting Mount Lu, and I was pleasantly surprised to find such a lively town with everything you could possibly need – dining, entertainment, and shopping. I've stayed at the Manxin chain before, and they never disappoint. Parking was also very convenient, and the breakfast was delicious.

This hotel is less than a kilometer from the high-speed rail station, making it super convenient to walk there at your leisure. Downstairs, you're right next to a lively night market and all sorts of street-side shops, with plenty of food and drinks available, making daily dining and shopping incredibly easy. Getting to the old town by taxi only costs a little over ten yuan, so the transportation value for money is excellent. The breakfast selection is rich and delicious, making for a fantastic stay. What really stood out was the exceptionally warm and attentive staff. You can even add them on WeChat to inquire about any travel questions, which is convenient and efficient. Special shoutout to the '95-year-old granny' (WeChat nickname) who was so friendly and kind, providing thoughtful and heartwarming service. Overall, it was a perfect stay, highly recommended!

Probably the best experience I've ever had at a hotel! The staff were warm when we arrived in the evening. The immediately offered us tea, warm cloths for our hands and bowls of congee to take up to the room for an evening snack
The room was gorgeous, with a fantastic view over the river and a short walk to restaurants, shops and one of the local pontoon bridges.
The staff were equally as warm and friendly on our departure. It made our trip to Ganzhou feel even more special.
Thank you team for the wonderful stay.
I have been back from Sanqing Mountain for two days. This time I took my mother to play and climb the mountain. I have been very entangled in where to live. I chose this Boxin Yunshe. The location of this homestay is on the mountain. The front desk lady not only sent us the recent weather and introduced us to the local standard. The destination attractions and route planning, and we have a lot of luggage and recommended the local pickers to us. The homestay is facing the Shenlong Opera Song attraction. As soon as I arrived at the homestay, the housekeepers prepared ginger tea and fruit for me and my mother. The experience is really at home and the service is very good. The room has a great view and an exclusive three-piece suit. Don't worry about not dare to use the hotel's towels and slippers, and you can take them home. Open the window in the room to see the green mountains and clear waters, and the scenery is healing and filming. The whole house is also meticulously hygienic, the corners are clean and dust-free, and the facilities are complete and the texture is online. The butler service is intimate and thoughtful, and the itinerary and dining will be carefully recommended. I rarely write so many words for evaluation, but this is worth it. My mother also said that the butlers in this store are very gentle and caring. I will choose this one next time I come to Sanqingshan. It is highly recommended!

Traveling to Nanchang for business frequently, I always stay at the Hampton by Hilton Nanchang Honggutan Qiushui Square. The hotel is located in the heart of the CBD, surrounded by office buildings and commercial areas, making business meetings incredibly convenient. The rooms feature a rotating desk and an ergonomic chair, so working for long hours isn't tiring. Electric curtains throughout the room and a smart toilet enhance the living experience, and the toiletries are Peter Thomas Roth, truly showcasing the brand's attention to detail. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities cater to essential business traveler needs. The front desk staff are efficient and thoughtful, and the breakfast offers a mix of Western and Chinese options, saving time and keeping you full. It's an excellent choice for business travel.

This hotel was perfect for our in-depth exploration of Taoxichuan in Jingdezhen. It's only a fifteen-minute drive from the North Station, and the front desk offers free luggage storage and delivery to the high-speed rail station. If you're driving, there's ample free parking. Getting to the Sculpture Ceramics Factory and Taoyang New Village by taxi is very quick. The flow for dining, accommodation, and activities is smooth, so you don't waste time commuting. It really covers all the essentials for tourists. The free luggage delivery service to the high-speed rail station is also incredibly convenient.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite new, conveniently located in a prominent and easy-to-find spot.
Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean.
Environment: The surrounding area boasts numerous dining options, supermarkets, bars, and late-night eateries. Takeaway services are also readily available, and you'll find no shortage of tea shops and cafes. The hotel itself features restaurants, and the breakfast spread offers a good variety with decent taste – truly comprehensive and satisfying.
Service: Fantastic! The staff were very friendly and always smiling.👍
Facilities: A point to note for first-time visitors to Yichun – not all rooms at the hotel include hot spring tickets.

RRollingstoneHampton by Hilton Nanchang Stay Review
Overview:
I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Located conveniently in the Honggutan District, the hotel is well-positioned for access to local attractions, shopping centers, and the business hub of the city.
The Good:
1. Comfortable Rooms:
The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets.
2. Facilities & Amenities:
The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay.
3. Breakfast:
The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables.
4. Service:
The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
5. Location:
The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city.
The Drawbacks:
1. Room Size:
While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped.
2. Limited Dining Options:
While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery.
3. Noise:
Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers.

Mma_laurieThe hotel felt quite new, clean, and tidy, and all the staff were really nice. They offer shuttle services to and from the cable car station and the main street station. Every morning, Master Bao (包师傅) drove us to the main street station and picked us up in the evening. He was so kind and patient (we actually felt a bit embarrassed with how often we requested the hotel car). Huge thanks to him! I didn't have high expectations for a scenic area hotel's breakfast, but the all-season breakfast far exceeded them. There was a wide variety of food, plenty of vegetables and high-protein options, and the fruit was super fresh. The tofu, shredded pork, and vegetable soup was especially delicious. They also had freshly ground coffee. You can also order lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant, which has a clean environment, and for me, it felt more reassuring than eating at outside restaurants.

GGuest UserI think I’m pretty good at finding hotels. All the way out here in the U.S., I actually managed to find this traditional-style guesthouse that you can’t even see from the road 😄. It’s wheat harvest season right now, so the owners had given their staff time off, but because we were coming, one of the owners traveled all the way from Shanghai just to host us. 🌹 Her name is Ms. Peng—she’s a university graduate from 1981 and a professional architectural designer. She designed the entire guesthouse herself. Every corner here is beautiful, and I can’t even take photos fast enough to capture it all.
GGuest UserThe room was great; on a sunny day, you could see sunlight as soon as you opened the curtains. It was also very soundproof, which allowed me to fall asleep quickly after a day at the music festival without being disturbed by noise. In addition, the restaurant next door was also good; the food was better than any other meal I had in Ganzhou over the past two days!
YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.
KKira_JeungThe hotel is right next to Taoyangli Scenic Area, and it beautifully preserves the retro red brick and wooden beam aesthetic while incorporating modern glass elements, giving it a very strong design sense. Every photo you take here looks like a postcard! Staying here includes complimentary tickets to Taoyangli Scenic Area, and you can access the park directly from the hotel's back entrance. They also offer a free travel photoshoot in Taoyangli, complete with styling and makeup, which is an amazing deal. Parking is convenient too, with public parking spots available within 50 meters of the hotel entrance.

YYida88Our family of 13 recently spent three nights at Wuyou Stayhill Resort in Sanbao Village, Jingdezhen, and it was a truly wonderful stay. The location is excellent—about a 20‑minute drive from Jingdezhen city—yet set in a quiet village surrounded by mountains and many artist studios, cafés, and restaurants, so there is always something interesting to explore. The hotel also provided free rental scooters, which made exploring Sanbao village easy and really fun. Waking up each morning to the crisp mountain air was already the perfect start to the day.
The resort offers spacious rooms with high‑quality finishes and fittings; our six rooms were all beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with quality bedding and bathroom amenities that made for a very comfortable stay.
The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service from the staff, who were consistently caring, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. They handled several ad‑hoc requests even before our arrival and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay so that every member of our family felt well looked after.
We particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast each morning. After long days of sightseeing, it was a joy to return to the resort, where a good night sweat desert soup awaited us, making it feel like coming home every evening. On Christmas Eve, our sweet dessert soup was accompanied by a beautifully written poem wishing us all a Merry Christmas, a thoughtful touch that showed how the staff went the extra mile to make us feel special. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay smooth, relaxing, and truly memorable, and this hotel is highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Sanbao Village.
